"Tharavadu is a breath of fresh air. It brings something to Leeds that you'd usually have to travel to neighbouring Bradford to find. With typically unheard of dishes, it moves away from the traditional British curry' and instead presents to us a true reflection of what food is like in South India along the Karalan coast line (I presume). It shows us what a dosa should be like. It shows us what else there is out there other than a chicken bhuna/balti/tikka masala. It shows us true passion in it's food. We booked weeks ahead for a Saturday night table for 8 diners at prime time. We walked in and were shown to our seats immediately. I'm a proud Mangalorean, and we all know our fishes well Perfect ambience, great menu, and good service. The hotel is situated right at the heart of the city. I must admit that I did go here regularly for a week, I really liked what they had to offer with fish, if you go here must try the fish dishes with appam, tastes very authentic! Keralites will love it Finally, I do strongly recommend this place, but I still wish they could do more with fish, bring in more varieties.

Tharavadu comes like a breath of fresh air in a city erstwhile in a rut of authentic Indian restaurants. The food is absolutely brilliant and the service super prompt. We were a group of 5 people and we ordered paper masala dosa, chicken dosa, veg and non veg thali, vada sambar and gol gappa chat. All the things were stunner. Special mention to the soup served with the veg thali. I find myself at a loss of words while describing that soup. Such vivid and immaculate flavours, a truly not to be missed delicacy. If not better, then most certainly at par with Sarvana Bhawan. Most generously recommended.

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
