"Very surprised to read some of the reviews from visitors at TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge as we have always had excellent service and the food is some of the best Indian dishes we have had.We were seated inside the TigerBay Shisha Lounge however as this has open sides all round and even an open roof in warmer days or nights, we felt completely safe and COVID protected. The evening was very busy but had a great atmosphere and we didn’t feel cramped or as if we were too near to other customers. The music especially with the appearance of DJ Shraii gives something a little bit extra special than other venues.All members of staff wore face masks and we noticed they politely reminded any customers to use their masks when not seated at their tables.The food is always hot and you can hear the sizzle plates sizzling as the food is served. Portions are really generous and we usually find it hard choosing from all the delicious dishes on offer.The mocktails are especially good and the fruity versions topped with fresh and sweet fruit. We have not tried the Shisha varieties however talking to people we met last week, they said the choices are good and flavours excellent quality. So even without Shisha being available at the moment under Covid rules, TigerBay Shisha Lounge is a great venue.We are looking forward to spending many more summer evenings especially in the garden area which is beautifully filled with gorgeous plants and makes you feel you are on holiday and not just on an evening out.Keep doing what you do so well TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge."

"The food at this restaurant is made fresh to order. The Dal could use a bit more salt, but it was still good when paired with rice. The standout aspect of this place is the excellent service. The host even went above and beyond to create a new mocktail for a colleague who did not like the Virgin Colada. The food may take a bit longer to be served since it is made to order, but it is definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional service and fresh, made-to-order food."

I made a phonecall to ensure they would deliver to us (out in the sticks) and was really impressed with the friendly nature in which my questions were dealt with. "Food taste was great hence it has 4 stars but its the overall experience let us down. The portion was really small. We had starter and main course and found that the portion was too too small. Even portion of rice is not enough for 1 average person. We also found that we were rushed with our starter as they had main course prepared. And table was so small and too close to each other. It felt like we were at a fast food restaurant. So overall dinning experience was poor."

"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."

"Having tried multiple Indian takeaways since moving here and always ordering a Phall everywhere was a disappointment and it was barely a korma I would receive. I tried Naawabs for the first time a couple of days ago and it was brilliant. The portion size was fantastic, I actually received a Phall, they also included several dips to accompany my order which was a pleasant surprise. The delivery driver was friendly and the time in waiting was very fast. I've definitely found my new regular Indian restaurant finally and look forward to having more meals from then in the future."

"This restaurant is amazing, beautiful food, good drink selection stellar service, the only thing that let our visit down was charging so much for poppadoms we didn't order! We were provided with 6 poppadoms upon arrival, then charged £6.30 for them, I don't mind paying for them at all, but I think that amount for items we didn't order is excessive. Apart from that I cannot fault the restaurant- staff are so friendly and welcoming the food is great and the setting is beautiful, I would definitely reccomend to anyone, but make them aware of the poppadoms!!"

"One of the best takeaways in Birmingham. Never had anything like it.. the food and taste was on point could not fault. "Indian theme Resturant located next to temple in Wembley. I was impressed with their wraps around Harrow and Wembley , as per my experience they serve good quality and portioned wraps with Masala chips. Try their Cottage cheese wraps for £4.99 , it's fresh and made with fresh tandoori naan. The owners has planned and well executed theme of the Resturant as authentic to Indian Bollywood. They have also imported Royal Enfield bike and kept at display in the entrance which is impressive. The service is great and they follow the protocol for Covid. They have limited parking in front of the Resturant. Overall good experience so far."

"The best place for South Indian tiffin in Birmingham, without a doubt. I have had a few visits and the food quality has been consistent. Interestingly, they serve the longest dosa in Europe, which is called the Chennai Dosa special. You should not miss it. Bit pricey but the food quality justifies it. Recommended!"

"I booked a table for 17.45 on Mother’s Day to take my wife for a meal. When we arrived the guy at the end of the counter couldn’t find our booking so he said something about ‘Did you get a text from us?’ which I’ve never had when booking through Opentable. He then said they were full and basically made me feel like I was in the wrong . He was rude, aggressive and arrogant. We have been to Kiplings twice before always booking through Opentable and never had an issue. We won’t be going again. Shambles."
