"This place never ceases to amaze me. A very small but intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere, very friendly helpful staff probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Four of us phoned to see if they could accommodate us almost immediately. Luckily, it being midweek it wasn't a problem. The staff really looked after us. Only too pleased to advise about the menu will also let you order a certain dish with a hotter sauce or modify dishes as you request. I can certainly recommend the Desi Lamb...Amazing! The Onion Bargis are superb (order 1 between two ....they are big) Tikka Massala superb. They don't serve alcohol but there is no problem at all taking your own beer wine in. We will return."

The lamb chops had an unpleasant taste and were clearly past their best before date. We ordered two servings, one as a starter and one as a main course, and both were spoiled. It's a shame because the rest of the food was fantastic.

Requested no oil or salt in dish, this wasn’t acknowledged nor was I contacted to say it was a problem. Contacted the restaurant to notify of the error, dish was remade but same issue. If anything tasted saltier than anything I’ve ever had before.

We recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was flavorful and fresh, with some unique dishes we had never seen on a menu before. The lamb tawa we ordered was exceptionally delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean and beautifully decorated. Located in a small shopping center in Compton Acres, this restaurant has a strong local customer base. The menu offers typical UK curry dishes, although not the best I've tried, it's far from the worst. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant allows you to bring your own alcohol, with a £1 corkage fee, making it a great deal for those who enjoy a drink. Plus, there's a Tesco conveniently located next door for any additional needs.

My first visit and hopefully not the last now I have discovered this convenient take away for when I stay in Nottingham. I enjoyed a very substantial chicken tikka biriyani. The meat had rich smokey bbq flavour , the rice was aromatic and of a perfect texture. The Chana Massala side dish was rich abd heavy on tomato which I enjoyed I struggled to finish it as the Briyani was such a large portion! The Biriyani curry of vegetables on the spicy side it went well with the meat and rice. The owner kindly added 2 complimentary poppadoms and 3 dips. I had to walk for a mile afterwards to allow the food to settle. A good takeaway a 9/10 IMO
