"This restaurant offers the best Chinese cuisine in Guildford. My group came for a birthday dinner on Sunday and enjoyed the buffet, which costs £22 for adults and £12 for children. They even gave us a souvenir photo of our group as a gift, which was a nice touch. The buffet concept allows customers to reorder food and have it made fresh and delivered to their table, rather than sitting out under heat lamps for hours like at standard buffets. Customers should be mindful not to overorder as food waste is taken into account. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and the service is quite fast, but it's recommended to book in advance. While it may not be the cheapest option, customers definitely get what they pay for here."

When we called to inquire about our order, we were told that they had not even started preparing it. "Brilliant. Was up in Aberdeen, from a bit down to coast, for a hospital visit. Timed it so we could get a takeaway in the 'toon ' before heading back home with it. Did a Google search for decent curry houses in the area and came up with this place. So, first time there for us. Called from the hospital grounds at just after 4pm and was told the food would be ready in about half an hour. We headed up there, arriving a wee bit early but our order was ready. Got it back home and boy it was fantastic. Lamb Seekh Kebab and vegetarian platter (for the wife) and both were great. I then had the Prawn Bombay Flame and Keema Rice and she had Prawn Dhansak with Pilau Rice. Add a Tarka Dhall on the side and Keema and Cheese Naans, popadoms and dips etc and things were complete. The quality of the food was just fantastic and the prawns were some of the best I 've ever had in a curry. Helpings were abundant as well. I cannot fault this place. Friendly staff too and clean and tidy wee shop. This may have been our first takeaway from here but rest assured it will not be our last. Brilliant!!!! Cheers!!!"

"Ordered a chefs special (Asian style) pizza however I received some random pizza with donner on it. Even the donner was raw and did not taste right so had to bin it. Very disappointed as was looking forward to a decent pizza. Ordered few times before and it was good however was really badly let down this time. Won't be ordering again for sure. "Over the past 20 months, I have had the pleasure of purchasing new audio equipment from The Sound Organization. The service and advice provided to me by Matt were excellent. I recently visited their location in York to demo the new speakers, the Donator D7.2, and the Rega Planar 8 turntable. After the demo, I decided to purchase both items as well as Atacama furniture. Once everything arrived, Matt offered to come to my house in Kendal in the Lake District to install the audio equipment. This was a fantastic service that I greatly appreciated. Matt provided recommendations on speaker cables and how to set up the turntable. I will definitely be using The Sound Organization for my audio needs in the future. Thank you."

"I love this Chinese Take Away. It is run by a lovely family who are always polite and helpful. It is clean and always smells so good. If I could buy the scent of their food as a candle, my house would be lit up with many tiny, dancing flames. The portions are large and you have the option to order any dish on the menu as an even larger portion for a very small price increase. The hot and sour soup is a particularly delight, with a deep flavour you don't get anywhere else. The only gripe I could possibly have is that they only use thin noodles for their chow mein. My daughter loves the thin noodles but I prefer medium or udon. If they offered a choice of noodle size this place would be perfect. But that is a small complaint and only based on my own preference. Seriously, give it a try, you won't be disappointed."

"AVOID! Had many takeaways from this place over the years but last nights £31.00 order was beyond shocking. Let me also explain that I rang the restaurant directly before writing this review to resolve the issue and best they could do is offer a 20% off next order. I am actually shocked by the insulting man on the phone. The satay chicken had never seen a peanut in its life and actually tasted of garlic, mushroom and onion dishwater. The chicken balls were like eating little pods of exploding grease. Vile. The salt and peppee chips had never seen salt or pepper. Just a bit on onion and chilli flake. The chicken chow mein was dry and 3 tiny pieces of chicken in. Egg fried rice and prawn toast, orthough a little greasy was the only edible parts of the meal. On top of this my partner has been sick most of the night from the 5 or 6 mouthfuls of food she ate. The food was also late and delivered by taxi. Very odd. I am going to report to the food hygiene at council too as something is certainly a miss here. I went through all these concerns over the phone today and sent the photos to them. There responce was “Oh it looks like you eat 6 chicken balls and the satay etc” they couldn’t understand that 3 plates had been plated from the bags and majority of that was in the bin. AVOID!"
