"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."

First visited this restaurant about months ago. We drive miles and it is worth the drive. The service is second to none. The food never disappoints and is exceptional value Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Please be aware when ordering from Bantawala they sent us Butter Chicken instead of Panner Makhani. I tried calling them up and the guy who was on the phone while explaining the issue was laughing. If you have have any food allergies or dietary restrictions I would avoid ordering the food from here.

I unexpectedly discovered this restaurant while out for a walk on Byres road. The lunch menu was fantastic and we left feeling full and content. The Korma and Tikka dishes were delicious. The chicken pakora was absolutely delicious and the tamarind dip was so good, it could have been enjoyed on its own like a soup.

We are so delighted with the food and service we got at Bantawala restaurant. We were here for three days and we came to have our dinner all the evenings.I would highly recommend to try their masala tea (best Indian tea). After visiting the impressive University of Glasgow, my friend and I decided to have lunch and stumbled upon Bantawala by Masala Twist. We ordered samosa chaat, masala banta (featuring kokum and masala lemon flavors), gol gappe, and chhole bhature. As fans of Delhi street food, we were thrilled to find that this restaurant satisfied our cravings. The food was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised to find such a gem in the UK. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service and showed a great understanding of our preferences, making our experience truly memorable. We would like to thank the staff and the restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.
