"If only I’d seen the owners reply to a bad review they got under their google reviews! Shockingly rude! A table was booked for 7.30pm tonight to celebrate an 18th Birthday, we pulled up it was closed! To see the look on these 4 girls faces, SHAME ON YOU!! Called no answer, finally answered by a rude man saying we open at 8! BS!!! You open at 6, no? As per your website? AVOID this place after the way they let down these young girls tonight, no sorry nothing! Thankfully Turquise in Loughton fitted them in at the last minute......ps. Now abuse me, be rude and call me a liar like you did the other bad review!!! NO STARS"

"Staff friendly and helpful. Food fab and tasty. Booked outside table but weather turned and they automatically moved us in inside. Will go back. Lovely local gin and tonic too. Great to have a Vegan restaurant dedicated to my needs and wants. Skin on fries were yummy as they were already salted. Menu app really easy to use as well as website to book a table. Thanks see you soon."

"the vibe holborn in the rush stop is like living on fast forward. the streets are packed, people refuse to break their step, and really everything they want is a romantic place to rest their feet and eat good food. rocket is just a few minutes from the station, the west end and all the other chaos they can be fed back and watered back. dive in here, go down the stairs, and they find cozy reclinings, an extensive menu and expert made gin and tonics the order there is a certain snobberie over restaurants that expand in chains. they are assured that, despite the reproduction of the rockets throughout the entire capital, no compromise is given on the food. the portions are large so that you can...read more"

"Dinner here tonight, at least half of the menu indicated as gluten-free and many vg and v options. I had the fried lentil donuts for beginners who were delicious! I was told that they were boiled in different oil, but they could not guarantee complete gluten free from cross-contamination in the kitchen. Really pleasant meal, would recommend!"

"January 50% off deal was amazing value. Venue is brilliant. staff were all amazing! Drinks were amazing quality. . . The bar area was almost too loud (even before the live music started) however once we were seated at our table it was fine as the dining area is a little removed from the bar area so it's not too loud to sit and eat a meal and head your friends. Food was perfect. Above my expectations. Thanks for a brilliant Tuesday night!"

"what a nice place to eat. as a party of 10 baby in high chair, we were greeted eagerly. we had 3 children in our party, and as soon as we arrived they were offered water and something to nibble. the service was attentive without being intrusive, the baby was treated like a printine! he was even treated with his own bowl cherry tomatoes. the food was excellent in quality, and there was a corresponding gap between the curses. we have managed to find a cheap gavi and montepulciano on the wine list. the atmosphere was alive without being loud. if I didn't live in the west, I'd be back, probably at least once at 15 o'clock."

"We had the worst service in a long time at this restaurant, which ruined our evening. The manager did not acknowledge us as guests and our server was extremely slow. We had to repeatedly ask for everything from the beginning to the end, which was very frustrating. Although the food was delicious, there were issues such as warm wine, long waits for water and additional glasses, as well as delays in serving dessert and bringing the bill. The restroom was not on the premises either. This was a disappointing experience compared to other St. John restaurants. We will not be returning, especially since the manager ignored my concerns when I emailed them."

"We ate at St. John in Clerkenwell twenty years ago and couldn't see what it was about. We thought we'd try again as we were in the neighborhood of the Maltby Street branch. We ordered lamb that was so raw that we could not get our knives through them, while we would normally order meat rarely, this was simply unusable, so we had to send it back. The second time around them did not seem like the meat was cooked evenly. Our friend ordered the lemon sole, which was much more beautiful and well cooked, and the vegetable sides were beautiful. But we will not go back for a third visit."

"2nd visit, 1st time staying over..suite was lovely, standalone bath a massive luxury. If it were my place, I 'd possibly dispense with the robot style toilet as its a bit erratic and noisy if you need to go in the middle of the night! Food is incredible, service is incredible. It oozes cool understated luxury. We will definately be back Rooms: We stayed in the 'Burdoch ' room. It 's the one with the copper style bath in the website photos. Very luxurious Food drinks: Al a carte menu was included in our package, we added the extra cheese course which was brilliant (you only need one between two people) you can upgrade to tasting menu and wine flight too."

"Having visited many Harvesters I must admit this was the worst one I have been to. Service was incredibly slow, and even food was cooked well, it took an age to come out. Table next to us had waited so long their car ticket had run out before their food could be served, and when it did come out as they were leaving the food was cold and congealed. Server didn't seem interested in attending to our table, and would rather clean tables that were not needed rather than take our dishes away. When I asked the shift supervisor to remove our plates I was told it was the job of the server and she went back to chatting and laughing with another member of staff. My children aged 4 and 6 even opted to skip dessert which they have never done before as they had had enough waiting so we got hot donuts instead. Massively disappointing. I recommend reminding servers that customers come first and to remain attentive at all times. I also recommend management to be more supportive. I shan't be returning to this restaurant."

"Oh my goodness, the food at this restaurant was exceptional! We started with the prawn noodle dish to share as a starter, followed by half a lobster and chips each for our main course. For dessert, we enjoyed some delicious doughnuts. We also tried a couple of cocktails which were fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and even helped us find a taxi when we couldn't get through to any numbers. Despite its unassuming exterior, I would highly recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was quite busy on a Tuesday evening when we arrived at 5pm. The quality of the food and service was on par with Michelin-starred restaurants. I would even travel from London just to have dinner here. I can't praise this place enough - we only have a few more days here, but we will definitely be coming back before we leave. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5."

"Ancient pub in an historic building at the centre of a quiet village. The Sunday lunch we had was excellent my trad beef, the SO's nut roast and our companion's fish chips were all top notch. Everything on my plate which included a delicious onion marmalade was first class. A small menu of well judged dishes which changes, we were told, monthly. A very good range of beer on tap and you could see, from the number of locals dropping in for a pint, that the pub is well used by the community. Added to my list of nearby pubs to drop along to. Vegetarian options: Very good carrot and nut roast. Excellent fish chips"

"Enjoyed a dinner for two last Saturday night. There was a good number of tables serving couples and small groups and then one large table of or so. Good atmosphere, lovely decor. Starter and mains were slow coming but myself and hubby were not in any rush so this was not a complaint for us. Food was very tasty for starters we the ham hock with nice pickled veg and the ribs which were a very generous size. Mains then fillet steak surf turf and ribeye steak, both cooked as ordered and we found the sides of fries and veg good. Dessert then we shared the triple chocolate gateaux which was delicious. Overall very good meal"

"Still the best around and great food, pastries, and coffee. However, removed one star, as coffee cups are very thick, absorbing the heat from the coffee so it’s lukewarm, and of course less coffee in the cup. Shame as it’s a great flavour. "This location is very close to home in our town and has a very troubled history with various establishments in and out, even though this is Trumbull Center. When Bianco Rosso came in we were skeptical, as all of the former restaurants were nothing special. Well, this time it is VERY different. The updates decor is nice, while it is still a bit of a smaller place. The drinks were perfect, and we have particular demands. The apps were awesome and they split our salad when we just mentioned we were sharing that, which is a nice touch. The entrees were fantastic (beef short rib and the lamb shank), and the pistachio-chocolate desert was one of the best I ever had. This time the place should stick, despite a notoriously problematic landlord. We had a pleasant chat with the new proprietor and wished him very well. We were VERY impressed!"

"First time I actually wonder into Luton while waiting for someone to land on the local airport. Found this place on Trip Advisor and tried it for breakfast and was not dissapointed! Realy good food, with a twist and quite varied, they seem to have something for everyone in a medium to small menu. The expresso coffee was good as well and the staff top notch. Nice music, to cheer you up in the morning as well."

"I had a wonderful Sunday lunch at The Halfway Inn. There were two of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed a traditional Sunday roast. We started with the tempura prawns, which were light, crispy, and delicious. The roasts were plentiful, and I have to give a special mention to the gravy—it was absolutely outstanding. Although we were quite full, we couldn't resist trying the sticky toffee pudding, which was exceptional, especially when paired with the homemade fig honey ice cream. The selection of wine and ale was lovely, and the friendly service in a cozy setting made it a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4."
