"Amazing food as always, fantastic customer and delivery service. Very kind and polite, takes messages of food into account and prepares as requested. I have disabilities so I truly appreciate, staff's patience when delivering food. I feel guilty for constantly ordering from Balti Raj, I just can't stop. The food quality is amazing and honestly affordable. I have bought food from other restaurants, where the portion is just about enough for one person and everything is so expensive, that we have ended up going without food, at times. However, I have been grateful that we are getting something to eat and because of my grateful attitude. I have been blessed to remember about Balti Raj and we have been eating well since ordering from Balti Raj, Alhamdulillah. Sorry for my long review, InshaAllah I hope others get to experience the amazing food and service, I have been receiving. "Generally, the food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty—always hot and full of aroma. I typically dine here once a month and usually get takeout, but it has always been a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, there used to be a whole section offering the mains with jackfruit or vegan meat alternatives, but now there are no other options for vegans apart from the generic vegetable curry, which not many of us enjoy. However, the paneer was excellent for vegetarians. I hope they bring back the previous options as I used to enjoy dining here before they removed them."

"Nice restaurant and tasty food, but the atmosphere was a little dull. They’re a bit confused over their offers too website states BYOB Sundays and no corkage. Then we got there and they didn’t know anything about byob Sundays, then there was a £25 corkage, then £6.. then finally they honoured what was on their website. The manager was friendly though. The speakeasy bar downstairs Marks is really cool would be much more likely to recommend that than the restaurant."

"we have been eating here for years and have only good things to say; eating is always good, the staff is attentive, friendly and nothing is too much annoyed. the hygiene of the place is always of high standard and the atmosphere is always good. birthdays, jubilees, datum night or just a family meal indien garden is a good choice. a lot of choice on buffet evenings also. 10/10. can't give enough stars!"

"The speed of service was fantastic, food arrived quickly to table. Was a tiny bit disappointed with my soup and thought it lacked a bit of flavour but it’s hit and miss with chicken noodle anywhere you go. The sechaun chicken delicious and and the...chicken curry too. Good sized portions. If it was more socially acceptable I would have licked the plate clean! Next time I’m in the city centre I’ll definitely be back."

"0 STARS!! I had to mark one to be able to post. Disgusting customer service/management. I have never spoken to such a rude and cheeky manager in my life. I ordered food yesterday which arrived over one hour later, all cold and short of one box of chips. When I called to complain, I was asked to call the day after as they were closing. I have called today reporting that one box was missing yesterday and that all food was cold and arrived after hours which was over an hour late from what was promised. The manager said that I want to get those chips today I have to pay for delivery or they can drop me pounds to my door for the chips but no chips. He also said to forget to get any compensation for anything else and made very rude remarks. If I knew the place was operated by such disgusting people I would have never in my life ordered anything from that shop. I paid for cold food which arrived after more than hours and without one box of chips and cheese. That is shocking and unacceptable. I will make sure that message is passed to everybody I know to warn them from ordering from this place."

"Still the best local Indian restaurant with a great menu and truly fantastic service! Some restaurants reinvent themselves as they have become complacent, stale, even stuck in the past….. Thankfully that is not the case with Achari! Achari is perfectly located near Heathrow and serves up amazingly fresh and tasty dishes. With an open and clean interior, you can enjoy your meal with large groups of friends or more intimate with your loved ones. Thanks to all at Achari, keep up the great experience!"

"this restaurant deserves any good review that it has got! eating is amazing and the ambiente is just as good. in the rule Indian/pakistani restaurants with claws decoration and interiors, just because there are few restaurants. but this restaurant is very different. the restaurant is very beautiful from the inside and especially looks perfectly clean. we have not made the buffet option and have just decided to order from the menu. we ordered the chicken tikka masala, garnelen biryani and malai tikka boti. we loved eating, especially the huh tikka masala! that was the highlight of our meal, couple with the warm butternan. it was delicious! the biryani was a bit spicy, but still very tasty. I would recommend this place to everyone! go and see yourself!"

"I thought I would start the week with a curry. Ordered online for a later collection. I fancied a change from my usual mixed grill and opted for my other favourite which is a Thali. Good portion size including chicken tikka, kebab, tikka masala and a lamb curry. This was washed down with rice and a naan bread. The tikka and kebab were quite nice. Well cooked and fairly well spiced. The two curries were ok. Nothing to write home about but perfectly acceptable. The naan was properly cooked and had a lovely flavour There was a lot of it and I was unable to finish it. I would recommend this place if you are after a decent good value meal."

"Walking up Borough High Street, I passed Truly Indian on my way to sainsburys. I noticed that the chicken tikka wrap was back on their lunch time menu. It had not been advertised for while but historically I had at least one a week when there were last on the menu. They were amazing £5.95 for the wrap and a drink.So decided to have one again, this time its advertisd at £4.95 but no drink. Not to worry dont like fizzy drinks anyway.So at my desk and half way through it and although the sauce had changed and not as good as previous the main issue was the chicken. I decided to unwrap it and clearly the old chuncks of chicken tika have been replaced with finer cuts of chicken with no tikka. And I counted 4 very small slivers the size of a finger nail.This is just unbeleivable. I know produce and rents have gone up but a decent operator is not taking the mickey with this type of trick.Management please sort it out please, at £5 i can get a decent burger of the market or a mixed meat mezze at the establishment opposite you. Not happy. Clearly not, as I dont write reviews unless something is great or something is really bad."

"We booked a table for 4 for 7.30pm, arrived 7.25 and it took 20 mins. to get severed for drinks. It got worse! We were finally shown to the table of a 20% full restaurant and 25mins later finally had the head waiter ask if he could take our order...with an attitude as if he was doing us a favour... We were so put off by the dirty, 'sticky ' tables and v slow service we told the waiter we were leaving, paid for our drinks and left. Never again will we go back!"

"After a busy day last Sunday we thought a curry so to try delhi flavor as I am new in the opposite and like to use local restaurants where they are worth it. delhi flavour is worth a visit. the room was quiet. I guess that's normal for a Sunday night. the personal is friendly and efficient. the food was excellent. my partner would recommend the lamm madras as he eagerly shot the loose. he likes his curries hot and he said the lamb madras was certainly hot. I swallowed the chicken-shashlik that was beautiful. I love the fact that we could take our own drinks. it makes a great evening a little less expensive. although the prices in delhi aroma are excellent. we will certainly return to this place as often as we can. a large curry house in walking distance, happy us!"

"I recently dined at this new restaurant with my wife and son and was highly pleased. The vegetable dish was fresh and crispy, the tandoori chicken was delicious, and the other dishes were also excellent. The beer was cold, the staff was very polite, and the service was quick. We will definitely be back. It's worth noting that the restaurant is only open for lunch from 12 to 2:30 daily. However, there seems to be some confusion regarding their operating hours as the menu and website may indicate otherwise."

"Went into the shop on a Tuesday evening ordered 2 milkshakes and 2 slices of cake. Waited 20 minutes to be given it and then to get home and find the lids of the milkshakes upside down in the top ? I rang them to find out why the lids were upside down inside the milkshake and the person I spoke to said that’s how they seal properly in transport? The cake had been shoved into the box and half of it was on top of the box lid. Worst place in banbury Then said that was it and hung up."

"I placed an order online through the restaurant's website using my Visa card processed by Worldpay. I received an email confirmation with the order number and estimated delivery time of 45-60 minutes around 7:06 pm. However, after waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes and making 17 unsuccessful phone calls, I decided to visit the restaurant. The owner claimed they didn't receive my order, despite me showing him the email receipts and screenshots. He rudely suggested I contact the bank and showed no willingness to help or apologize for the inconvenience. Despite my bank account being charged, the owner refused to take responsibility for the issue. I received no food and encountered unprofessional and rude behavior from the owner. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and seeking out other more hospitable options in Milton Keynes. Sizzling Grillz does not deserve even one star for their disgraceful conduct."

"This restaurant has really gone downhill over the years. The hygiene is lacking, which is a shame because the host was very hospitable. Once seated, we were handed menus which were dirty and sticky. Ordered the drinks, they came in glasses which were marked and sticky down the side. The drink was room temperature flat pop. The food that came didn’t taste bad, but it certainly wasn’t “good”. Very small portion of rice which the curry drowned if you were to pour it all on your plate. Bread was burnt and tasteless. Went to the men’s bathroom by mistake, my god it was stinking. Stunk of urine and it was dirty! I was disgusted by the soap on the sink, how they thought it was ok to leave this filthy black god knows how old bar of soap there for customers. Whole place needs a good bleaching! They’re meant to be rated 4 by the food standards agency but it needs updating!"
