"Terrible. I never really write reviews. I go for a Curry every Friday and have been to many places in London. This place is the worst I i have ever been too. The samosas were dreadful and clearly out a freezer. The lamb vindaloo tasted like someone had got some chillies, scrapped some tomatoo puree of a homemade pizza and shoved some chicken in. The rest of the dishes were equally as bad and i could go on. The prices were a complete rip off . The waiters were extremely unfriendly and their attitude clearly mirrors the standard of the food. There are hundreds of far better places in London where you can get a cheaper meal. Truly Indian is an ananthema to the cuisine of the subcontinent!!"

eating here is magie, in contrast to most other Indian restaurants in london, which is why I always come back to when in london. that was average.

Absolutely disgraceful. They serve minuscule portions but charge a potion for it. My lamb curry was £9.70 but had only 6 small pieces of lamb in it. When I complained, they said, this is how we do it Avoid.

the Indian menu was displayed outside, so we went to the restaurant. the menu they gave us was Lebanese, so we asked for an Indian menu that was completely rude to the waiter/cook and refused to present the Indian menu. he asked to go if we want to eat Indian really bad place to go. Never go in.

eating was really delicious and authentic. I have no complaints about the taste. my only comment would be to have an average seasoning option for the masala dosa and the daal. it was really delicious, but much too hot/spicy. and the only option is hot. if there is a milder option it would be perfec View menu

I visited london at the beginning of 2016 with a friend and we wanted to taste an Indian restaurant. we choose this well-located restaurant with nice waitress that answers us all curious questions. it was clean, eating was delicious and the service was perfect. I would really recommend to take an dinner! only a remarque, the Lebanese cuisine was not available this evening and it seems that it works during the day as fast food, but I did not try.

Food was OK, although a friends vindaloo was no spicer than a korma. BUT the service was truly awful! Waited for 30 mins to get our poppadoms and first drink. Waited a total of 90 mins for our main meal. Then 2 of the parties meals didn't arrive for a further 10 mins. When they did arrive the rice ordered did not! A further 10 mins for boiled rice!! The manager did give us a round of free drinks for the delays, but then got stroppy when we declined to pay the 12percent service charge. Needless to say we will not be going back!

Excellent food. As a local resident, I have been looking for a good Indian restaurant in Borough for a long time and was truly surprised to find it in what I can only describe as an underwhelming ambience The food however is phenomenally good! And I am now a regular here. Cannot go wrong with any of the starters or the tandoori dishes. The curries are also excellent but where they outdo themselves is with the biryani Would definitely say that while this is not the place for a first date, it is just the place if you are looking for good Indian food!!! TRULY DREADFUL. TRULY INDIAN?! TRULY ABYSMAL Without doubt the worst Indian restaurant I have EVER eaten in Why 1. The waitress was rude and looked very reluctant to give us a table for four when our friends hadn't all arrived yet 2. We were constantly hurried to order despite clearly only two of us being present 3. Asked for some poppadoms to tide us over and they looked aghast as we hadn't ordered our main 4. Poor selection of poppadom dips 5. Ordered a chicken vindaloo and received a chicken madras when we questioned the order the waiter insisted it was a vindaloo and ignored our protestations 6. Rice was lukewarm 7. Took an absolute AGE after the plates were...read more

Truly nice Indian. Came across this place in Borough high street a month or so ago and I have walked passed the premises every day for the past two years and it has always had shutters down so it was suprising to see a new restaurant in town. When we went at about 8 on Thursday it was not particularly busy with only 2 other tables occupied Decor was pleasing could do with some pictures and not your usual Indian flock wall paper style, it had a modern feel about about it with modern Indian lounge music to match I ordered from the evening menu and the food I received was definately not the usual gloopy curry sause , well presented and great taste , my only gripe would be that...read more
