"A friend and I went here the first week I was in London. It was my first restaurant experience, and I was glad we chose Indian I have heard all the rumors about London food, including that Indian food is supposed one of the best cuisines offered. Since I love Indian food, I was excited to try it.We arrived before the dinner rush and were the only two people in the restaurant. We had chosen what we wanted after only a few moments, so we shut our menus and waited. And waited. We ceased talking as we waited. We were sitting by the windows and the waitress was on the other side of the restaurant at the bar, texting, not paying attention to see if we were ready. It was quite frustrating to be the only people in a restaurant and still take more than ten minutes to place our order. She finally realized we were ready and after this blip the dining experience became much more enjoyable. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala rice and naan do not come with the mains, and each cost more than two pounds which makes the meal kind of expensive, but it was really amazing. Some of the best Indian food I've had in a while. The decor of the restaurant was nothing special and if you didn't already know it was Indian cuisine you wouldn't be able to tell. The food was great, which is the most important part, but if I wanted to come here again I would probably order it to go."

Service was not good, manager was not interested, only me and a table of 4 girls in the restaurant.Food was passable but not anywhere near the standard you would expect considering the competition in the area.Wont be returning

This is one of the best place in London to enjoy Indian cuisine. On all above the food, is the staff over here. They are the most friendly people and give you full ease as you enjoy food at home. I am coming here for past 4 years and I love every moment being here.

I've been here twice after a trip to the nearby Market Porter Pub and am always pleasantly surprised by the food. Have tried the nearby London Bridge Tandori and found it average and not great value. Near London Bridge station, so suitable for the quick dash for the last train.

The food here is really tasty and if you ask the captian to make it spicy they will make it spicy!! Pretty close to real Indian flavours and taste. The only issue is QUANTITY, so be prepared to order loads if you are really hungry..... A small restaurant but Overall a good place to eat if you are near and around London Bridge.

The red interiors giving an uncertain first impression is completely dispelled as soon as you order the food.Dal Bukhara and Kadhaai paneer have been my favourite. It is extremely authentic. The staff is helpful. My first visit got me a slight discount and the second visit a free glass of wine, as a gesture perhaps for coming for the second time!Highly recommended.

We came across this restaurant after visiting South Bank area of London and liked the food very much. Though it was around 2.30 (a time when most of similar restaurants close-down) upon request they allowed us to have a quick bite. We enjoyed the conversation with Gaurav while being there and the cost was also very reasonable. Thanks to Gaurav, hope he is doing well.

There were not many Indian restaurants nearby our hotel, so finding this restaurant was a blessing...Delicious food..We ordered Dal Tadka, Veg. Manchurian, Chilly Chicken and 2 plain rotis. Everything was well in quantity and very tasty and appropriately spiced. I was very impressed by such good quality food in London. Also the ambiance was very good..latest bollywood songs playing in the restaurant. Its worth the money. Sadly it was closed on Sunday.

There's very little to say about this place that's positive. Looks awful from the outside, not great on the inside. Terrible service. Even worse food. There was no hint of spices used or vegetables my curries at home are an awful lot better than this, it tasted like it was from a jar (a cheap one at that). The poppadoms were soaked in oil and the chutneys tasteless and didn't taste fresh. Tiny portions, not cheap. Really bland. My friend ordered a vindaloo and it could have been a balti (albeit an awful one). Never again. Don't waste your money.

8 of us visited here on a Thursday night and it was a pretty poor experience. We were the only table until late when 2 more walked in. Should have been a sign.We were not smiled at or treated very kindly by the staff. We were given a drink that was not ordered and then were looked at like we were stupid when we questioned it! So we kept it and paid for it. The food was ok, particularly spicy! Everyone's meals were the same, hotter than usual. It was £1 per poppadom and extra for the chutneys, more than all of our locals! Biriyani was very dry and did not come with vegetable curry as usually does to make it more of a meal! The spinach was disgusting and looked and tasted like mush! Was blitze...
