"Worst service ever. Ordered via just eat. 1.5 hours later rang them up to see where the food was- they said they had no record of the order. Fair enough. We rang just eat and told them, they arranged a refund for us. 2 minutes after this the food arrived. We rang just eat and told them to cancel the refund. Anmol then rang us up and asked us to put the order in again so that they could get paid. We've done this as we want to pay for our food. Bare in mind that this is just as our food arrived 45 minutes late and we're trying to eat it and have to log back into just eat. I can't believe that any customer facing business would make anyone go to this effort after telling us incorrect information on the phone and food arriving 45 minutes late. We'll never order from here again."

"we visited this place regularly during the prekovid periods and loved the decoration, ambiente, eating and cocktails. nostalgie and foodgasm reigned when we were dined there last week. I am elated to say that the quality and taste have remained exactly the same. we ordered chowk ki tikki and gunpowder chicken wing to begin and they were absolutely lipbek. mumbai mirch is a cocktail I never miss when I'm here, and although the amount seemed a little less than before, it was so delicious. also the keema pau slider was excellent. I can't wait to be here again. I wish that if the dinge become normal again, pav bhaaji will be added to the menu again."

"good cheap food. maisha atmosphere and eating was generally good. I, my wife and the 20-year-old daighter showed up tonight. we had the early evening menu (they had to ask for it! at £9.95/HEAD with 3 beer and an orange juice. Eat was good if not excellent and portioning were generous, we were so full that we needed no pudding. the regular meal prices are somewhat expensive, but also the other Indian restaurants in st andrews are a bit expensive."

"I have been working at the red rose for over 2 years, both as a driver and as a waiter. I know the restaurant and the food to be clean and look. after 25 years there is the same boss. he flaps over and panic when it starts to be too busy, but this is because he cares about 110% to get the food to the customers, and he knows what he does! the same as for the rest of the staff. they are regular long-term employees who are well-trained and qualified, and always go from there to make their visit as beautiful as possible. the personal is always for a laugh and sweat. they are very professional, but from them they crack a sweat with them, they will join and will not ignore it they are good fun and fun to work. "The pizza at this restaurant is your typical takeout style - a basic bread base with a variety of toppings. While nothing special, it is still much better quality compared to some other big chains. The curries could use some improvement, as the basic sauce is tasty but the portion sizes are on the small side. The dessert was a bit overcooked and lacking in quantity. Additionally, there was no warning about the meat used in the dishes. On the positive side, there is no additional cost for rice or chapatis. As of the time of this review, the restaurant has received a hygiene rating of 5, which is reassuring."

"We had booked for NYE via OpenTable without realising they would be running a set menu. There was no indication that this would be the case, but luckily there were dishes on the menu that we all were happy to order. Jashn is normally our favourite Indian restaurant in the area, but we felt the food was lacking it's normal quality this time. I don't know if this is because it was a set menu and therefore dishes were cooked in greater quantities, or whether it was down to something else. However the curries were quite bland and the lamb meat was tough. Service as always was friendly and welcoming. We felt the set menu price was overpriced based on the quality of the food and left generally disappointed. If we didn't know that Jashn is normally much better, we wouldn't return to eat here again. However based on previous experiences over the past 5-7 years, I would hope that this was just a blip."
