"Certainly one of the best Indian restaurants I've visited. The atmosphere is great, we went on a Saturday night and there was a really good magician who came round the tables for a bit of entertainment. The food was great, a massive selection and many of the dishes on the menu I had never heard of before. Luckily the waiter was very helpful and recommended a few things for us. It wasn't cheap but on Sundays they do an all you can eat offer for £16 which is well worth taking advantage of! Great night, will definitely return!!"

I always went to nakodar who rated one of the best in Scotland, but the last visits everything was overpowered with ingwer, so I gave this place an attempt based on the reviews I read. "I feel that the prices at this restaurant are too high for the portion sizes. The small cobra beer costs £5 and the butter chicken is £13.50, if I remember correctly. The chicken was a bit dry. If the prices were lower, I would rate it higher considering it is marketed as street food. For a total of £20.50, you could have a luxurious dining experience with multiple courses in India, not just street food. The service was dine-in and the meal type was dinner."

"Visited on a whim, and Indian food is something I do enjoy. Sat downstairs and my order was taken right away. Poppadoms and a variety of sauces were brought and I nibbled whilst waiting for the meal I ordered. It only took minutes and was delivered, piping hot. It was fabulous, really well cooked and very tasty. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for fast and friendly service and a lovely meal. It was, I feel, a tad pricy, the rice was separate, and although they do meal deals, this was outwith the times. However, it is in St.Andrews so that seems to be on par with Edinburgh pricing. Lovely meal though."

"What used to be a great place to eat .Is now to be avoided al all costs whist the food is of a good standard .Cant say the same of the service we received, we had a table booked for 7.15 our drinks starter were served promptly .Then it all started to go downhill ,there was a steady flow of just eat delivery drivers in out after waiting for an hour we asked where are main meal .The waiter responded, with the following comment just eat comes first we will bring you your meal in a while .at which point we requested the bill for what we had been served A manager then came to our table to apologise ten minutes later are main course arrived .We wont be going back"

"I was out from London Zoo and looking for a place to dine nearby. I was kind of deceived by the google rating of 4.2. However, I think there is something going on with this restaurant that is either management issues or post COVID crisis. There was only one waitress who happens to do almost every thing. He was trying to catch up and multitask but with a lot of mistakes. Everything takes so long to happen. I have to wait a bit for him to pay my check. The price is extremely over the quality of the food and service. Some items in the menu are not available. Do not ask for ice, because they do not have it. Therefore, you have to accept almost room temperature Cola."
