"I am from the US it was my birthday and a clerk at gap recommended it. I had Uruguay Filet of beef with green beans a salad shock was all good. They brought my dessert out on a white platter with happy birthday written in chocolate. I had cheesecake with fruit topping so good! Our waitress was exceptional. Good place for a nice dinner."

Spoke with the manager who was rude, unable to deal with accordingly and actually had no experience in handling with issues. One person missed off for drinks and another wrong item arrived on the table when the food did arrive. Lovely food but well over priced and no service to match"

"I must say that my experience at lunch today was incredibly disappointing. I had been looking for a suitable place to enjoy a quiet lunch with my Grandmother before visiting an exhibition at the British Museum. Starting on a positive note, the staff were excellent at providing a pre-lunch Gin Tonic in the hotel before we moved into the dinning room. Unfortunately after that things started to go down hill. The dinning room was deserted for lunch on a Saturday. As it later became apparent, this was intentional. Two groups of walk-ins were turned away and told that the restaurant was “fully booked” despite it only having only two people in it. This is a restaurant that clearly doesn’t want your business. On the food quality, I had ordered the fishcake starter which was to be served with a poached egg. The poached egg had been boiled to an inch of its life. The yolk was rock hard and going grey. I am not certain how such an error could occur in a restaurant that only had two diners. Further my Tuna from the Grill menu was barely cooked at all. Despite these issue the bill also proved challenging. Firstly, I had to remind them that our drinks had not been added to the bill. Secondly, despite the issues they had still had the nerve to add a 12.5% gratuity to the bill. At no point when we were leaving did they attempt to apologise. For those reading to the end of this review, do not visit this “non-restaurant”, they clearly do not value their customers."

"It was my second time in the restaurant and I was looking forward to come back as I had such great time the first time around. The decor is thst of a Scottish posh restaurant with mix of modern are and classicall pieces. The atomoshere is great and it's a great place for Sunday brunch or evening drinks. Sunday lunch has a separate menu. The inside scene when performers take place was great and this time it was Jazz inspired : Frank Sinatra and i enjoyed it a bit less than ABBA on my first visit. It might be to the fact that ABBA singers were Intracking with audience more. The food great for me (gnocchi), it was a bit less enjoyable for me partner. He purchased £35 beef roast and though it was good, it was not amazing as one would expect for the price. Also presentation would requite a bit more effort for the price. Service is also great and we'll done to the very attentive staff Wine list is impressive as it choice of whiskey which would satisfy whiskey lover. All I all great expirence with small disapntments."

"We had a great time at Boisdale on Saturday evening after visiting Winter lights at Canary Wharf. We were a bit early for our booking but manager was very nice and took us downstairs to the bar. Our party included a 4 year old boy, who got a lot of attention from everyone, even from the security guy. Also manager offered him a juice cocktail on the house which was really nice. Food was great! My husband loved his burger and he’s is hard to pleased as he’s making amazing burgers himself. I enjoyed pheasant breast with mash potatoes in wine sauce very much and my mother-in-law loved fish of the day course. Only our 4 year old was an bit off his pizza Margarita as instead of usual red tomato sauce it had green pesto sauce. The waitress was very attentive, helpful and super nice. Overall we had an amazing experience. Thank you!"

"Who knew there was an outdoor ski lodge just behind the British Museum?? The Montague had done a fantastic job of recreating a covered bar and informal dining area in their patio area and it was great fun! The menu set up was different to what was described on TT there was no set price anything which made it more expensive than expected but also more flexible as two of our group ended up not drinking. The two choices of fondue were delicious and the tasting platter looked amazing. Service was really friendlyalthough there were times when the bar was unattended so we had to wait for more drinks etc but that was minor as the staff had really got into the spirit and made it a really great experience. I'll definitely be returning next year"

"a Jewel. I would really recommend this wonderful family-run Italian restaurant. the reception was warm, the food was really delicious and the service efficient and friendly. I chose the zucchini flower starter that was just melted in the mouth; then the sea cream, which was so full of taste; then the delicious cheese. my man was also enthusiastic about his parma ham, seafood and homemade tiramisu. the personal was thoughtful and attentive, but not transferred, nothing too much annoyed. for the quality of food, the bill was also incredibly reasonable! perfect place if you need the victoria palace theatre or travel from victoria station. we will definitely go back."

"Harry's Bar at Ironmonger lane is possibly one of the best high end pubs in City. The pub has a dining space on the first floor and drinking area downstairs. It even has designated private smoking area if you wish to try one of its fine cigars, which as the pub claims, if enjoyed with the heating and music, makes you feel as if you are in Cuba! They have a good selection of rum to go with the cigars Food is tastefully decorated and taste is top notch. Service is also good but what may pinch is the price. You may find price to be higher than average but it is certainly compensated by the quality service, ambiance and cigars which you can get here."

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. "that is a very funny thing to do when in london. prepared by the architecture and design, through the number and quality of the numerous boutiques, the food dishes that sell all of quality chocolate to dinner....and the mass. try to visit a weekday morning to have the best experience. they also try to avoid the perfumery section if they have asthma or do not want to overload competing and contradictory and overpowering. this experience let me cough about 15 minutes later and I have good lungs. the place needs a lot of strong positive ventilation, or about 20 less sales people spray scents in the air. "My friend arrived early , was shown to the table and not asked if she wanted a drink ..left oar hed until we arrived some mins later. The head waitress seemed very stressed and short with us on our arrival .I understand they were busy but to be just told we are busy and have her run off in the other direction while we waited was a but rude. We then had to ask if we had to order drinks at bar or was waitress service to which we were again told no waitress well be with you in a minute we are really busy abrupt.When we did get to give our order is was rushed and abrupt. My friend got given a gin and tonic when she asked for vodka and tonic..it was replaced which was good. We asked for a bottle of sparkling water and a jug of tap water. The drinks were brought over sporadically and they forgot our tap water. We chose cocktails instead of dessert and asked for the bill when ordering them. We had to ask for the bill twice. Despite the bad service , we had nice time and just got on with the meal celebrating my Birthday. We wont be returning anytime soon."

"I have ordered from this restaurant through their website about 15 times last year, and it has been consistently fantastic. I would rate the taste 8/10, where 5/10 is an average supermarket frozen pizza. Recently, there was a mistake in my order as they gave me wedges instead of garlic bread and cookies were missing. However, since I live on Miskin Street, the food always arrives hot, though I can't speak for the delivery to those further away. The family deal for £28 is great value for money, providing enough food for a midnight snack and the following day. When reading the 1-star reviews, take them with a grain of salt as people often only write a review if their experience was either terrible or outstanding. I have consistently seen high-quality food delivered before midnight, so I believe any issues may arise with late-night orders or long-distance deliveries."

"the food generally was very good and tastey although a very limited menu, especially the main courses for vegetarians... only 1 option....... so we settled for 2 starters each and a dessert which was yummie.... the chocolate brownie....
