"I booked the restaurant from looking at the reviews and I felt that it was worth a go. From the outside I wasn’t sure. It looked a little shall we say, dated, but upon entering the restaurant the décor was beautiful. We were seated and throughout the service was adequate. The pakora wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still nice. The curry however was tasty. The chicken was incredibly tender. Reasonably priced. Worth the money I would say. However the toilets would do with a face lift. Over all would say it was good and that I would go back"

"They call this masala chips? Food arrived late, I ordered via just eat called them as waited early 2 hours food was cold. All leaked in the bag. When I called manager was rude saying he be with you soon. Once food arrived and seen the state of the food I called back manager said he was home to call back tomorrow. I called back the next day the manager said they are busy and will call me back. I allowed nearly 48 hours before I called back he was rude and said what is your complaint even though I was polite explained the situation... the managers response was is that all your complaint and ? Next time don't order from us if you don't like the food, if you do then order. Then he said tough thats how our food is like. it you think you can cook better than my chef come and work for me I will pay you £18 per hour. I have never been spoken like this by any resturant before. I will be taking this further.disgustijg will be seeing me soon face to face. Disgusting attitude especially when I never spoke im a rude way in any shape of form."

"Chellos was the first time we had a takeaway there and my boyfriend collected it and it was nice there kebab was the right size for me i wouldn't have managed the large one and my boyfriend liked the pokora and the portions you give...are great and chips were excellent delightful dinner and a wee change for us as well great delivery service if you choose to get it delivered busy but friendly my boyfriend would say but they were rushed off there feet would defos recommend to my family and friends give chellos a try... "We had a lovely meal here on Sunday 2nd Jan. As with everywhere else it was very quiet and we seemed to be the first ones in. The food was tasty, and not over salty or oily like some others. I had the lamb shatkora, with a deliciously citrussy sauce that went well with the sweet butternut squash side dish (not seen that in any other curry house). Other dishes had nice big chunks of paneer. Service was polite and friendly. Recent poor reviews seem to be mostly about delivery services and were a bit offputting, but the food and staff were absolutely fine. Might be my new favourite Indian restaurant."

"I've been here longer than I remember and never had a bad experience. from my young family to ask at the table naan, and countless creepy dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transportcafé but had the best curry in french, I am always amazed that it was so easy to get a table. we made sure that it was so good if we first tried his new iteration, that the workers remembered what two of my party pests had eaten at a previous visit! we should rest soon. it is still the best, and whenever friends and family visits from all over the country, if they ask where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to adil?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and stoney lane. but it is always worth making the wall for the best quality. and remarkable it is also not expensive. but don't tell anyone, I still want to get one table next time."

"This Indian restaurant in Edinburgh is probably one of the most overlooked gems. The food felt just like home-cooked meals and the flavors were so delicious that I ended up dining here two days in a row. I sampled nearly all of the vegetarian dishes on the menu and was impressed by everything. I especially enjoyed the Sambar, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you choose to order here."

"In short, the restaurant had fantastic food but lacked in service quality. I was tempted to give it a 5-star rating due to the delicious dishes, but the service was disappointing. We waited a long time for the waiter to take our order, and it took another half an hour for him to return after clearing our table. By then, it was too late to order dessert. I don't mind waiting for well-prepared food, but I do mind rude service, such as when the waiter impatiently explained a dish to me, almost rolling his eyes at my questions."

"we went for the first time on Friday. I'm shocked it won't heaving! the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and did not linger or hasten you. there was so much choice on the menu and loved that they could see in the kitchen that proved they had nothing to hide! the ice cream is amazing when they can choose a taste, the naan looks amazing and they were so helpful with diet requirements. if they enjoy beer and do not drive, they try the king cobras, but warn them are quite strong! we took two parent groups, both of whom said it was the best indian they were, the facility that was the personal everything brilliant. 100% recommended!"

"Terrible. I never really write reviews. I go for a Curry every Friday and have been to many places in London. This place is the worst I i have ever been too. The samosas were dreadful and clearly out a freezer. The lamb vindaloo tasted like someone had got some chillies, scrapped some tomatoo puree of a homemade pizza and shoved some chicken in. The rest of the dishes were equally as bad and i could go on. The prices were a complete rip off . The waiters were extremely unfriendly and their attitude clearly mirrors the standard of the food. There are hundreds of far better places in London where you can get a cheaper meal. Truly Indian is an ananthema to the cuisine of the subcontinent!!"

"We set out to go to a favourite Indian, but we couldn't get in. One of our group suggested the Indus in Attercliffe. I'm so glad we did, the food was amazing, really tasty and fresh, we all ordered different and there was none of that generic curry going on here. Each dish was so different, mine was delicious and we all said the same about our food. The staff were friendly and quite funny, we had a great time. It was starting to get busy when we left, no wonder, this little gem is definitely a place we'll be going back to and recommending."

"The food is consistent in quality, not amazing but nothing inedible. The highlight for sure was the matka gosht, cooked well, the meat was tender and sauce flavourful, if you pay a visit then order this for sure, along with a paratha or three. We also had a tava chicken which went down well. The machle la jawab is essentially chip shop masala fish served in your standard curry house base gravy. Lassawala gosht promises a lot but definitely does not live up to the hype. Everything on the mixed grill was overcooked and dry. The chefs need to revisit this for sure, some pieces like the tandoori chicken were left pretty much untouched, that's how tough and dry it was. The lowlight of the visit was nearly throwing up after smelling the mint sauce bottle. The waiter then told me that he had just filled it that morning and it was impossible for it to be off. Of course, he then smelt it himself and took it away promptly... The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable with a good atmosphere. Toilets are fit for human use (unlike the facilities in so many restaurants in Brum these days). Price is very reasonable."

"Ordered via Just Eat and we were told our order would be 45 minutes. After 60 minutes the app said our order had been dispatched. 30 minutes later we called to be told that they were short staffed and our order had not yet gone out. Asked for a refund as we had been waiting over 90 minutes by this time. Told would be with us in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later we were given two lukewarm pizzas with burnt crusts. Plain garlic bread rather than tomato and the drink we ordered was missing all together. Phoned to complain but the phone is ringing out. Will not be using ever again."
