The food was amazing and the staff were entertaining. Our large group enjoyed a variety of delicious starters. I may have stolen at least 5 of my friends' starters, but I can confirm they were all fantastic.

Not many vegan options here! Pretty sure the only one is teriyaki stir fry! For some reason they make the tofu with egg as well??? The stir fry was lovely though! And it's a beautiful, cool restaurant. Fab cocktails.

I have to say, this meal was one of the best I've had in a while. The restaurant is quite busy, so I suggest booking a table online. The decor is fantastic, and the staff are friendly, even taking time for a chat despite the rush. The food is incredible with plenty of options and great value. Overall, I would rate Zen a 10/10 for everything. Well done! View menu

Not a lot of vegan options, in fact there was no vegan main course on the menu. However the staff were accommodating. They offered me a veggie teriyaki which was so delicious. While it would be nice to have some options, I didn’t go hungry. I went to celebrate my birthday and my friend asked if they could do something for it that was vegan and they brought strawberries on ice which I thought was a nice touch. The cocktails were amazing

Happened upon this place and were delighted with our find. Funky atmosphere with dance music playing, neon lighting. Restaurant was busy but service was great, and we enjoyed cocktails and wine. Food was fresh and piping hot. After a long day and not feeling very decisive, we opted for the set menu option which was lovely. Fresh vibrant duck salad, crispy tempura, and wonderful fresh prawns in a sauce I could have drunk, along with sizzling beef. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend

Booked for dinner weeks in advance for a table of 5. We arrived to be given a table downstairs which clearly seated 4 with an extra chair added on the end which was the walkway through to the bar!! We were placed beside the door and the draft was awful, we asked to be moved but told we’d have to wait 45 mins. The wait for drinks is poor they arrived after our starters and the food was mediocre to say the least!! As for the background music, well it’s certainly not background!! Felt like we were sitting in the middle of a nightclub playing techno all evening, all in all it will be an experience I won’t be doing again! Surprisingly for an Asian restaurant, there are only three vegetarian mains on the extensive menu. I asked the waiter if the vegetarian options contained dairy products. He went away and checked and came back to tell me I couldn’t have any of the mains on the menu as they all contained dairy products. There was even egg in the Morinaga tofu and mushroom dish although this isn’t stated on the menu. I was offered a vegetable stir-fry with teriyaki sauce, which wasn’t listed on the menu. We didn’t book but they had a spare table for just one hour if we wanted to take it … so the we took on the challenge of demolishing 3 courses in that time! Boy are we glad we did! Absolutely delicious food! I was a bit disappointed that the dishes we usually order from a Chinese weren’t on there, but having eaten the Honey Chicken and Satay Chicken, I’m glad they weren’t because the Honey Chicken was the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten at a Chinese. The soup was lush, the duck pancakes really tasty. I honestly could not fault the flavours. My first visit to this restaurant for lunch exceeded my expectations after being disappointed by my last three dining experiences. The restaurant was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were seated promptly and given menus. I ordered spring rolls as an appetizer and honey chicken for my main course. The spring rolls were freshly made and disappeared quickly due to my hunger. The honey chicken was excellent and was devoured just as fast. The staff continuously refilled my water glass and checked in on us to ensure our satisfaction.
