"About twice a year I meet with three former employees or to be precise with one employee and two employees to a cozy drink. Since we knew that a change had taken place at the Zum Urigen restaurant, we simply wanted to try out how it is under new direction. Last time we were here. The host had retired after decades and handed over to a young couple of Asian origins. The hostess said it, but I'm not sure anymore, but I think they come from Thailand. But you need to know that the host has been living in Germany for 29 years and to be working as a cook in a restaurant in Göppingen. We had ordered a table, which was certainly recommended. Our beverage requests were met quickly. The reading of the menu did not show any Asian influence, but rather was rather Swabian. We three men chose Bratkartoffel with Sülze Euro 8,10. The lady chose lenses with late zle and string sausage, the price also in this region. All four were very satisfied, the roast potatoes were very finely carved. Late and lentils like Swabian good. After we had eaten, the inn has set itself to us some time, the same we had observed at other tables. We had a very excited conversation with her telling us that her husband is responsible for the kitchen and her for the service. She was cooked for decades in a restaurant in Göppingen and learned the Swabian cuisine perfectly. She was clearly familiar with it and mentioned that she cooks unfamiliarly asian. I can say inconveniently, the place is highly recommended also under new direction. Parallel to the Stuttgarter Strasse, there is a street where you can easily get a parking space."

it has become different after the original owner no longer leads the original but eating is still at an absolutely matching price-performance level. again and again!

a very cozy pub. it was full of natives and the hostess was very friendly with everyone when she knew what they wanted to drink when they arrived. eating was really good. freshly prepared and very tasty. However, options are limited. reasonable price. would. look again.

I was here a few years ago on a business trip. the place has a nice cozy atmosphere and our crew was very satisfied with the fantastic food; and the service was very friendly and informative. Almost as if we were guests at home. I came back tonight for Swedish carvings and hash-brown potatoes and was not disappointed. highly recommended.

I was here on a business trip a year and a half ago. The place has a nice cozy atmosphere and our crew was very pleased with the fantastic food; and the service was very friendly and informal. Almost as if we were guests in...their home. I came back again this evening for the Schweischnitzel and hash brown potatoes and was not disappointed. Highly recommended

this place lives up to its name: to urinate. really cozy traditional Swabian restaurant. eating is delicious, the service really friendly and good. if you do this from a few (he cooks, it serves) the work they do is amazing. even if it's fully booked, they don't wait too long for her to eat. this place is in the did to our local place. ps: if you want to taste traditional (and tasty) Swabian food, that is the place to go. to walk to the main tourist attraction (blooming baroque, ludwigsburgs residence palace) and the city center.
