It's very central, near the TV tower. I recommend calling before going, as they are usually above have a large letter, but very simple, typical German. the place is cozy and very familiar I recommend you all visit the oldest restaurant of berlin. View menu

We came upon this pub by chance and went in to look around. When we came back a couple of days later for some lunch the staff remembered us and made us feel very welcome. We had a delicious meal of liver and managed to persuade some Chinese tourists at the next table to try it too. They were asking for steak and chips. I hope they enjoyed it. We certainly did.

when we went to Berlin they made us a single recommendation: go to dinner at zur letzten instanz. and a small recommendation! is the oldest restaurant of berlin, with undeniable charm and delicious dishes, and best of all, at affordable prices! rations are considerable, so with a single dish, if you are not much to eat, you will have more than enough if you want to try typical German food on a site

Einen großartigen ersten Abend auf unserer Berlin-Reise hatten wir der typischen Berliner Küche der Letzten Instanz zum Einen, zum Anderen aber auch der tollen, verbindlichen Art von Kellner Jan zu verdanken. Nachdem wir uns zu viert quer durch die Speisenkarte gegessen haben können wir sagen, das alle Gerichte frisch zubereitet, von sehr guter Qualität, typisch und sehr lecker waren. Reservations are mandatory if you want to get to know this historical restaurant in Berlin. A very nice place indeed, with a great, cozy atmosphere and, if you're someone that values historical old fashioned places, amazing experience. It is not the cheapest of places, but definitely not expensive. The food is very good and I highly recommend the Eisbein - though I have to say it was not the best I've ever had and portions were somewhat small. But very good nonetheless.

Una locanda storica berlinese...personale molto cortese, a discapito delle recensioni negative (sono tedeschi...punto). Menù scritto in tedesco e inglese. Stinco di maiale adagiato su del cavolo rosso...sublime. Polpette molto delicate ..ottimi sapori e per finire una apple pie con gelato servito espresso in venti minuti ....è vero, costa 11 euro..ma sul menù ce' scritto ...perché scandalizzarsi ? Basta non ordinarlo! Ottime birre. Mangiato molto bene...personalmente lo consiglio.
