"the service was really very accommodating, I asked as lactoseintolerant about milk products in eating and also I do not eat meat. there was a buffet, for which I decided to 9,90 euro, at the declaration of the spesen offered me the owner (think I sometimes) at one of the dishes I could eat in the buffet even without being cheese, I was really surprised by so much courtesy, but did not want to, but thanked me. after a few minutes, the court arrived at my table without cheese. all food was delicious, but rather home cooking. very much sharp, fresh vegetables, the rice was just a little dry.The negative surprise however, for 2 x buffet and a beer and a juice we paid a little over 38 euro. seemingly the good man has been to me yet not even confirmed offer the food without being cheese actually set in bill with over 10 euro."

"I am so glad I found this little gem. The place is great. Food is amazing and staff if great. "the söbentein surprised me very positiw, because the device has much love to detail. the old pictures of the history of the restaurants fit wonderfully to the modern ambience.The personal is absolutely friendly and makes every fun, we felt very well served.The söbenstein burger is really delicious and after that you are pappsatt! the pommes are made of sweet potato and at the first moment surprising, but also good.Facity, I come back when I am back in ahrensburg."

"Schwere Fischvergiftung bekommen!!! Wir waren eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft mit 9 Personen, wobei 2 Thunfisch gegessen haben. Schon heftige Symptome, wie Röte am ganzen Körper, Durchfall, Kopfschmerzen, Übelkeit, Unwohlsein und Bauchschmerzen, im Restaurant aufgetreten. Da es Mittags war und Villa Romana nur bis 15 Uhr geöffnet hat, waren nur noch Angestellte da. Nach unserer Beschwerde vor Ort wurde uns gesagt wir hätten eine Eiweißvergiftung und hatten sowas bestimmt schon öfters. Anschließend konnte man plötzlich kein Deutsch mehr…. Abends dann direkt nochmal angerufen, damit nicht noch andere diese Erfahrungen machen müssen. Auch von der Besitzerin wurde erstmal eine Eiweißvergiftung unterstellt. Vom Thunfisch kann das nicht kommen das muss unser Verschulden sein. Immerhin wurde meine Nummer aufgeschrieben und man wollte mich zurückrufen. Nach einer Woche jedoch nichts, keinerlei Reaktion seitens des Restaurants Villa Romana. Der Vorfall wurde schlicht ignoriert. 3 Tage Symptome, inklusive Notarzt und Bettlägerigkeit, wird einfach abgetan und ignoriert. Nach diesen vermeintlich eingespielten Reaktionen bin ich sicher, dass das keine Einzelfälle gewesen sind!!! Ich kann vor diesem Restaurant nur warnen!!! Ich bin schwer am Überlegen das Gesundheitsamt einzuschalten und den Fall zur Anzeige zu bringen."

"we have been walking several times a year into the restaurant and are always thrilled. whether the gans and escape to christmas or simply delicious home cooking in between. Every time we are completely satisfied and sated on the new ones.Lord and his hired are always accommodating and nice, eating always comes above average fast, is extremely tasty and if someone was actually not satisfied, we have always been happy to have been handed over again. the constant presence of the chef personally and his friendly, gast-close appearance have become somewhat very rare in restaurants nowadays and must be highlighted here especially.I find that the price-performance ratio in the restaurant strehl is perfect, especially under the just mentioned aspekt, that the gast likes to be refilled. presupposes of course that you ask kindly...We will definitely continue to come regularly, that is safe! the next time to christmas is not soon."

"the visit in il gelato replaces a week holiday in italy. "Whenever I visit friends in Ahrensburg I have to satisfy my ex-pat cravings for good German pub food at "Berlin Milljöh". This time my friend chose the lunch special, Eisbein (pork knuckle) with sauerkraut, and I had my favorite Matjes Hausfrauenart (marinated herring with apple cream sauce - sounds weird, I know, but tastes great!) with Bratkartoffeln: sliced potatoes pan fried with bacon and onions. American adopted German sauerkraut, but, with their passion for bacon, why do they never cook home fries with bacon and onions to make Bratkartoffeln?"

"During the lockdown we ordered tel. in the restaurant Rigani Ahrensburg 2 menus 2 x Tzatziki to go. At home we realized that 2 xTzatziki (10 euros) lacked bread. The chief reacted to the phone call with vaccination on the horn. Again calls gave nothing, with the argument that it would be a lot, we should pick up the 2 Tzatzikis themselves. After 30 minutes we were able to tell our concern. The boss finally delivered after 1.5 hours 1 of 2 Tzatzikis. For the 2nd missing Tzatziki we were offered a voucher worth 5 euros. We were also told similar behaviors by other guests, where the Tzatziki was missing and the wrong wine was also included. We waited for an apology in vain. Conclusion: We've eaten here the last time. Price-quality ratio disproportionately, the boss takes care of the guests unfriendly, they should not have any customer contact. There are far better and more friendly Greek restaurants in Ahrensburg and surroundings"

"Block House is found all over Germany, perhaps it’s their answer to the Outback but, there is no comparison. Perhaps Steak is not exactly German fare and it may be for that reason we did not feel exuberant about it. We also visited another Block...House in Berlin and the experience was the same. However, our friends locals wanted to go there so we went along. The food was fine, don’t get me wrong but it simply was NOT the steak you find in North America"

"Sehr leckerer Mittagstisch Ente chop suey vor wenigen Tagen genossen. Aaaaber da ich sehr viel Wert auf freundlichen Service lege, war ich doch ziemlich enttäuscht von der unfreundlichen Art des gehetzt wirkenden Servicepersonals. Das Essen mag noch so schmackhaft und kostengünstig sein wenn mir durch das Verhalten des Personals der Eindruck vermittelt wird, dass ich eine (zusätzliche) Belastung darstelle, orientiere ich mich lieber woanders hin auch, wenn ich da etwas mehr bezahlen muss, aber dafür freundlich behandelt werde. Meine Bekannte und ich waren ziemlich irritiert zumal das New Long einen sehr guten Ruf genießt und ich vor fast einem Jahr in kleiner Runde besten Service genießen durfte. Nachtrag 2 Monate später: Das Essen wieder sehr lecker und das offenbar ausgewechselte Personal vor allem die nette, sehr freundliche junge Frau machten den Aufenthalt nun angenehm. Ich komme wieder! Und gebe jetzt 4 Sterne (statt vorher 3). Nach 2 erneuten Besuchen gebe ich nun 5 Sterne! Nachtrag einige Monate und einige Besuche später (9/23): Das Essen: Nach wie vor lecker und reichhaltig aber eine Bedienung, die so distanziert und ohne den Anflug von Freundlichkeit oder eines Lächelns arbeitet (wiederholt erlebt), hält mich erst einmal von weiteren Besuchen ab. Ich möchte mich als Gast willkommen fühlen und entsprechend behandelt werden! Nun kann ich leider wieder nur 3 Sterne vergeben."

"Extremely well hidden out on the edge of Ahrensburg I stumbled across this place while out tackling a huge Mountainbike trail on my electric unicycle. I rode by asked if they were already open (it looked like they were just setting up) and they guy said sure!, so I pulled in and immediately ordered a coffee. Seeing the daily specials menu and it being 1 o'clock and all, I was like why not? I ordered truffle filled gnocchi with a truffle cream sauce. It was delicious! If they're looking for a suggestion, I'd maybe cut back on the truffles some (less is more), but I won't knock them for it. The place was very clean, staff was friendly and very attentive. If I'm ever in the area again, I would be up for stopping here again."

"The food quality is excellent but only if you speak german you can understand what you eat no english menu. I went there as it was next door. When you enter in the restaurant e very delicious smell welcomes you. Then you have small shock as everything is in german and no waiter speaks other languages, then a english speaking waiter pity' you and tells you don't bother yourself with menu it is open buffet and 15,8€ then the feast begins. He helped me on open buffet and it is really rich and delicious, even they give you the choice to choose raw see food to be cooked as you want. Excellent but again if you speak german, if the guy was not there i would write something totally different"

"We have been here more often (recommendations below . Super tasty, top service. I had duck peanuts today. It was divinely crispy. Sauce well, definitely deviates from the 0815 peanut sauces you know. With €20 for the dish more expensive, but if you want good meat quality, you shouldn't be greedy. And for this quality actually in the fair field, nowadays... The portion size is more than sufficient. The sushi is simply delicious. Recommendation: the Teriyaki sauce (just asks for panned sushi. For duck, the coconut sauce (with Ente Misaki is the absolute hammer. Last but not least: The Carlsberg beer from the barrel tastes really good and much better than from the bottle. If you're there in the evening, you don't get anything from the station. I don't mind the location. "Dined here once while staying next door in the Ringhotel Ahrensburg. Dubrovnik appears to be a small local chain of Croatian restaurants. Service seemed a bit slow for a place that was far from busy that evening. The food was decent, but nothing I would go out of my way to have again. Cevapcici were somewhat bland as was my wife's schnitzel with mushrooms. Beer was good, of course."

"Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, die Speise- und Getränkekarte lagen auf dem Tisch. Allerdings warteten wir gefühlt relativ lange, ehe wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Der Salat kam dann, auf die Getränke mussten wir erneut warten. Wir bestellten Lammfilet, das war lecker und zart. Die Bratkartoffeln machten einen fettigen Eindruck. Etwas knuspriger hätten die Bratkartoffeln sein können. Für die Umbestellung von Reis auf Bratkartoffeln wurden jeweils 2 Euro extra berechnet. Die unübersichtliche Speisekarte gab uns nicht den Hinweis auf Mehrkosten."

"Meine Tochter hat Zöliakie und darf kein Gluten. Wir waren zwei mal Vorort mit einem glutenfreien Baguette , welches wir mitgebracht haben. Es hat auch alles geklappt und die Mitarbeiter waren bereit dies so zubereiten, dass nichts kontaminiert wird. Wir haben uns so gefreut, das dies ohne Probleme gemacht wurde und haben uns herzlich bedankt und diesen Laden dafür gelobt. Doch heute war der Chef in der Küche und es wurde verweigert. Es ist ein Armutszeugnis, dass man sein eigenes Baguette mitbringt und erklären muss, wie das Baguette nicht kontaminiert wird. Damit schießt man sich ins aus. Vegan und vegetarisch funktioniert aber den Allergien wird der Rücken zugekehrt. Sehr schade. Den Stern bekommt allein die freundliche Mitarbeiterin am Tresen, für den „Chef“ reicht die Skala an Minuspunkten nicht aus!!"

"we were recently in the rockefeller with live music from 20 o'clock. the local was well visited, but not breaking full. the acoustics of the band was still satisfying. the drink service lacked the overview, it was pure hectic.This can also be a bit exhausting for the gast. if you want to sort in, please do not pack with mere hands, that is not possible. the garnibro is o.k., the guinnes of the faß I had better in memory. the red wine is good and in comparison to the beer quite inexpensive."
