Block House is always keeping up the high standard, the American Tenderloin is the main reason to visit it, but not only. Price a bit higher than the german standards, but it definitively worth a visit

We followed the excellent comments of this community and we were not wrong. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the people were great. I totally recommend it. I personally tried a very juicy ribeye steak with some grilled vegetables. Price was also great

This unpretentious place serves some really nice steaks. I had the rib eye and my colleague a filet steak. Both were super tender and grilled to perfection. This may be a thing in Germany, however, when I am at a nice restaurant, I am not looking to see anyone with dogs walking around the restaurant. I completely understand service animals, that is a must to allow. These were pets of the people...eating there and this to me is not good for me. My opinion. Great service, good food View menu

The staff was exceptionally friendly but not fake friendly! As a meat lover I ordered a...Prime Cut and it was grilled to perfection. The German beer just gave it that last little push it needed. If you get the chance I highly recommend a visit

Block House is found all over Germany, perhaps it’s their answer to the Outback but, there is no comparison. Perhaps Steak is not exactly German fare and it may be for that reason we did not feel exuberant about it. We also visited another Block...House in Berlin and the experience was the same. However, our friends locals wanted to go there so we went along. The food was fine, don’t get me wrong but it simply was NOT the steak you find in North America
