Also two young Swedish waitresses in their summer jobs were kind.and enthusiastic However, although we speak Italian, the main waitress for some reason was rude, did not watch us into eyes nor spoke anything and as we had a four-dish antipasto, after the second antipasto she already brought the main dish... mixed feelings of this restaurant and definitely spoiled part of our last evening in lovely Alghero."

"Ristorante in un resort 4 stelle superior.Location carina e ben curata.Un po' di errori nel servizio, la comanda presa 25minuti dopo, i primi non sono arrivati tutti insieme, ma quelli dinalcuni commensali sono arrivati svariati minuti dopo, quindi abbiamo dovuto mangiare sfalsati per evitare di mangiare freddo.Cibo nella norma, porzione degli antipasti decisamente ridotte (il tonno col mango, il piatto più buono di quella sera, era composto solo da 3 bocconcini di 2 cm di lato), porzione per i primi piatti invece giusta e in alcuni casi abbondante, ad esempio la fregola, che alla lunga diventava anche un po' pesante e di pesce ce ne erano proprio pochi pezzetti. Da rivedere completamente l'antipasto di polpo, che era duro.Prezzo un po' alto in proporzione a come abbiamo mangiato e al servizio: 4 antipasti, 4 primi, 3 calici di vino bianco, 2 bottiglie d'acqua 75ml, 1 dolce, 2 caffè 155€."

"Sono stato per ben due volte con mia moglie e miei parenti in questo locale dove abbiamo mangiato benissimo, paella super, spaghetti al nero e frutti di mare eccezionali, servizio perfetto. "Siamo andati a cena in questo piccolo ristorante a bordo di un signor Sardo. Stavamo molto bene. La camera ragazza molto gentile e addestrato per dare qualsiasi informazione sui piatti del menu. Abbiamo preso due prima di mare costa 15 euro e 16 euro veramente molto buono e con pesce di ottima qualità dal 'ottimo gusto potrebbe sembrare pesce fresco ma se era congelato era un delizioso congelato . Fritto di calamari e patate fresche fritte eccezionali a euro 15. Seadas e un altro dessert tipico, di cui ora non ricordo il nome, super saporito € 5 al dessert! Torneremo sicuramente a vederti!"

"Gi.... pensavamo di tornare a casa senza aver assaggiato il famoso maialino sardo. Nei nostri 4 giorni di soggiorno eravamo rimasti spiazzati dalla ricorrente risposta che ci veniva data: per il maialino occorre prenotarsi almeno il giorno prima! e cos , quell'ultima sera, avevamo deciso di mangiare un po' di prosciutto. Tutto occupato! Ci incamminammo verso la macchina per tornare a Sassari dove c'era il nostro albergo, quando lungo la strada per raggiungere l'auto abbiamo trovato questa trattoria co, in bella evidenza, uno spot sul maialino della casa. Siamo entrati in questa trattoria, rustica , accolti calorosamente dal gestore. In attesa del maialino abbiamo mangiato dei formaggi locali. Buoni. Poi arrivato il tanto atteso porceddu con contorno di patate al forno. Sar perch lo desideravamo, sar perch avevamo fame ma ci sembrato buono anc he il maialino. Abbiamo cenato con gusto e pagato un prezzo onesto. Peccato che eravamo in partenza, altrimenti saremmo ritornati per assaggiare qualche altro piatto."

"Siamo venuti qui su consiglio di più persone per una cena tipica sarda, con due unici desideri: il porceddu e le seadas. Il locale è molto caratteristico, al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con un aperitivo di benvenuto nella veranda esterna dove abbiamo potuto assaggiare pane carasau, lardo, olive ecc... Al termine dell'aperitivo ci siamo accomodati in sala dove abbiamo degustato il lungo menù che ci era stato elencato anche al telefono. Abbiamo mangiato bene e i piatti erano molto abbondanti. Tutto ottimo e come da descrizione. Al momento dei dolci restiamo spiazzati quando non vediamo arrivare le tanto desiderate seadas (che sono oltretutto segnalate anche sul sito stesso dell'agriturismo . Chiediamo alla ragazza che serve ai tavoli se per caso fosse possibile averne una e ci sentiamo rispondere, anche non troppo educatamente, che il menu ci era stato elencato al telefono e che le seadas c'erano ma andavano richieste preventivamente FUORI MENÙ (e chi ce lo doveva dire?! e che la cucina era chiusa e quindi avremmo dovuto farla riaprire. Abbiamo deciso di pagare e andare via. Al momento di pagare ci viene chiesto se eravamo soddisfatti, abbiamo spiegato l'inconveniente dispiaciuti, dicendo che avremmo anche pagato extra ma che ci era stato risposto che la cucina andava riaperta solo per noi. Il signore alla cassa ammutolito ha preso i 70€ (due menù da 35€ e a malapena ha salutato, incapace pure di scusarsi o giustificare l'inconveniente che capiamo bene possa capitare. Trovo assurdo che un agriturismo che si vanta di offrire un menù completo e ricco dei piatti della tradizione della cucina sarda scelga di escludere dal menù un dolce tipico come la seadas, ma trovo ancora più assurdo che nessuno si sia preoccupato di informarci fin dall'inizio o comunque ricordarci al momento dei dolci che le seadas (se desiderate dovevano essere ordinate a parte, offrendoci quindi la possibilità di scegliere per tempo se ordinare o meno la seadas. Infine trovo poco professionale il modo sgarbato in cui ci è stato risposto di fronte a una semplicissima, ed educata, domanda e ancor più imbarazzante il silenzio di chi, incapace di dare una risposta al cliente, ha scelto di prendere i soldi senza nemmeno scusarsi o provare a riparare."

"both times we were in Alghero we had dinner in this restaurant, before leaving we already thought about the pizza we would eat! golden fish is a famous pizzeria restaurant located near the historic center, in front of the gardens giuseppe manno where most buses stop. the place is cozy, with a rich menu of fish, salads, pasta and pizzas! great value for money, we stayed in 4 and with an appetizer to share, a pizza and wine, we paid 12 € per person! what you can ask for more! strongly recommended!"

"Abbiamo provato Gior Osteria Pizza Gourmet per ben due volte, una volta a pranzo e una a cena e non siamo mai rimasti delusi. Entrambe le volte abbiamo optato per la cucina, il menù è ricco di piatti originali e sfiziosi. Personalmente ho amato il baccalà mantecato e gli spaghetti cacio e pepe con calamari fritti ma anche il resto era davvero squisito. Il personale nei nostri confronti è stato gentile e attento nonostante il posto fosse pieno. Il posto è molto carino e curato, si trova al centro storico di Alghero. Prezzi in linea per la zona in cui si trova"

"local outside the historic center, a hundred meters south of the Sulis tower. We were without reservation but in a few minutes they found us place inside. Table equipped as it must but local without its own personality. Surely good starters, first (ordered only by one of us) discreet and disappointing seconds (calamari). Definitely high prices and portions below average as quantity. very long waiting times and waiters who often wandered between the tables with the lowered mask (I didn't even like the adventurous to go to the bathroom or to pay or for any other reason they almost always turned without mask and none of the staff ever recovered). In my opinion the price paid does not justify what has been eaten but I must say that the room was overflowing, so obviously most people think otherwise."

Cozze soup and as before follow linguine with fresh artichokes both very good and well presented. the table service is like stars. "struttura situata in una splendida oasi naturale; Anche se recentemente costruito direi che è tenuto molto bene, belle camere e su pulizia nulla eccellere. ristorante che offre più menù, pizza e grill, antipasti, dolci e frutta. solo pecca il servizio bar. rude i bartenders, se nn scegliere l'opzione all inclusive anche un caffè che si paga, nemmeno a colazione è previsto l'espresso, ci sono macchine che forniscono un caffè cattivo. i prezzi sono molto elevati e le quantità sono molto basse. Ho trascorso una settimana in coppia dal 2 al 9 luglio. Nel complesso mi sono trovato bene, e non ho mai osato dalla sala da pranzo senza mangiare qualcosa, se fosse che vorrei cambiare di nuovo."

"An amazing stay! We stayed at the accommodation of Sa Mandra for 5 nights, and ate for dinner twice at the restaurant during our stay. The location is great to visit Porto Conte national park (including the famous and impressive Grotta du Nettuno), Alghero, Asinara island, Bosa, and even Castelsardo. But it does not stop at the location. The rooms are well equipped, traditionally decorated and of overall great quality. The pool reserved for hosts is perfect and accessible all day. On top of that, the on-site educative farm and numerous play areas for children are just amazing if you visit with little ones. The food at the restaurant is simply amazing. The evening degustation menu is a never-ending treat of beautifully home-cooked Sardinian specialties. Just make sure you keep enough room for the Primis and Secondis, when you beginning digging through the Apperitivos. The breakfast for the hosts is great, full of freshly baked cakes each morning and Patrizia is leading the service to perfection. On an additional note, the optional lunch meals that you can have on-site when staying at the accommodation are delicious and a great option for a day half spent on-site. Last but definitely not least, the staff is really really great! Quality care is brought forth for each guest. Staying with our 1-year old daughter we could not have hopped for more. All of our needs were met and anticipated. Tips and recommendations for activities, sightseeing and restaurants were of great quality. The family even lent us their charging cable for our hybrid car, and let us use the facilities after our checkout time on the departure day. We highly highly recommend Sa Mandra for a stay near Alghero. Cheers!"

"Inutile dire che da amanti del programma di Borghese '4 Ristoranti ' e essendo in vacanza ad Alghero a 400 mt da questo ristorante non potevano non provarlo. La compagna del proprietario è davvero una ottima padrona di casa, ha saputo consigliarci. Abbiamo preso l ' Agliata algherese fatta con il gattuccio ottima! e una frittura di calamari hanno ragione sul fatto che i calamari sono veramente pochi ma le verdurine pastellate le ho adorate!! . Poi un risotto alla pescatore e gli spaghetti all ' algherese. Infine tiramisù e seadas....inutile dirvi che era tutto squisito!!! Servizio perfetto e posto incantevole sulla spiaggia. Forse non meritava un terzo posto nel programma...straconsigliato!!"
