"This place is a real gem. A stone's throw from the Carlos V, just opposite in the bay. We ended up eating here three out of the seven nights we were in Alghero were very impressed with everything we ordered. Also lovely for an afternoon drink snack, as the outdoor seating is directly on the bay the views are second to none. All the staff were friendly attentive, accepting of our bumbling attempts at Italian with a smile. Reasonably priced for what is delicious food, exceptionally fresh fish the best pizza we've had whilst in Sardinia. The pasta is incredible too. Despite being off season busy most nights particularly at the weekend, so I'd recommend booking a table. Although busy staff remained cheerful on the ball throughout each visit. Highly recommend, a must do whilst in Alghero."

"very suggestive local in the alleyways. we are welcomed and made to sit outside in a table at our liking. we need water immediately and we recommend pizza of the day and wines. after the order, pizzas arrive in a very short time and, I must say, of a unique goodness. very kind the boy who served our table, attentive to the care of details and never miss anything from the table. recommended for all these small details, but especially for the fantastic pizza."

"We LOVED this place! Ate there two nights over four days. The setting is perfect, located a little off the beaten path in the town of Fertilia, right outside of Alghero. Definitely worth a trip here even if you are staying 20 minutes away in Alghero. The restaurant is perched on the edge of a lagoon across which stretches the remains of a Roman bridge, perfectly lit up to enjoy at night. The staff owner, chef and servers were all extremely attentive and very engaged in the evening meal. The food was absolutely the best we had in Sardinia. Show stoppers are the crispy pork mailino and the beef tartare. All the fish entrees we had were wonderful too. In sum, a fabulous meal."

"I am sorry to have to make a review of this kind but the anchovies had taste of vinegar and ruined the pizza, the dough hardened in zero time so that you could not cut it, the minson pumpkin flowers were served whole, including the hard part that you will not eat..unfortunately I must review and say that well."

"We travelled to Alghero a few weeks ago and had breakfast several times at Ristofever. Delicious and a very friendly service! We had dinner two times and tried fritto misto, pizza and lasagne. All very delicious! Also lovely drinks. We brought our daughter and the staff were all very sweet and talkative with our daughter. It was a clean place and even the toilet was decorated with stylish wall decorations (that we know from Denmark! . It was fun to travel to Sardegna to see Danish wall decorations! We can recommend this place with all our heart."

"excellent restaurant, excellent service, high-level dishes. has a nice terrace with tables where you can eat, but you can not see any views except the roofs of the alghero houses, however as a whole it is beautiful. the place is beautiful, beautiful, sober, in all pleasant. we went with friends and took three appetizers of lamb meatballs in carasau crust with onion in sweet agro, delicious. then 5 first, a soup, salad, 3 sebadas, 4 bottles of mineral water and a bottle of saddle wine"

"On the third day of electric mountain biking with Biking Sardinia, our guide, Matteo, arranged for a late lunch break at the Le Pinnette Agriturismo. We had ridden along the cliffs above the seashore roughly from Capo Caccia and Grotta di Nettuno to Torre del Porticciolo amazing views and through the brambles of Lake Baratz. We were tired, hungry, and dirty. As I said, Matteo had promised lunch at an agriturismo. We didn’t know what to expect. Agriturismi are a sort of Italian version of dude ranches. Farmers who can’t make it on farming alone offer food they produce and lodging. They can vary widely, from quite basic with no A/C and WIFI to very elegant. On this occasion, since the place where we were supposed to go was closed, at the last moment Biking Sardinia arranged for us to have lunch at Le Pinnette. It is one of the most elegant agriturismo we had yet seen. It opened up just for us the large dining room could have easily welcomed over 100 people. The cordial waiter (alas, with apologies I forget his name , brought us more food than we could eat, from a variety of anti pasti (cheeses and affettati and snails and olives and . . . to two Sardinian pasta dishes (one, as I recall with boar ragu , to half a succulent suckling baby pig that melted in our mouths. And local pastries for dessert. And of course bottles of the delicious Sardinian Cannonau red wine and, of course, grappa to finish along with the espresso. At this point, we had forgotten our scratches and, since we were really in no condition to bike, while we chatted with the waiter, Matteo went to get the van and ferried us back to our airbnb. Botton line, excellent. The food was as good as any we had anywhere in ltaly, and the service impeccable. Like every other establishment we visited on this trip to Sardinia, it was spotless. The price, at roughly 30 Euros each, was far cheaper than we would have paid for for a comparable meal in the States here we would have paid more for the two bottles of wine we consumed. Caveat: if you want to have dinner there, as in fact at any of the better restaurants in and around Alghero, you will need a reservation."

"We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. A blond waitress was out of control. Screaming to her colleagues, the kitchen staff and guests. That should have been a big red flag but we waited (1 hour) as the place was so full we thought it was really good. The food was very regular and expensive. We had a mixed grill (2 shrimp, a squid and a tiny fish). The shrimp and the squid were cold so we send it back. They heated up the same pieces so it got the consistency of chewing gum. By far the worse meal on the island (in 3 weeks). I would recommend to avoid this place."

"I had a pasta at this restaurant and I have to say the only thing good about this restaurant was the location. I ordered “Malloreddus alla campidanese” which in their website (English) it reads “fresh sardinian pasta with pork ragout”, and what I got was pasta with tasteless tomato sauce and a single tiny meat ball in the middle. Absolutely no taste at all. In fact it feels like someone just cooked some pasta and threw a can of tomato sauce on it and voi’la. If I knew I would get that level of food I would have cooked at home, given that it cost me 14 eur for it, plus coperto! I asked the waiter (the young man) for some seasoning (salt/pepper) and he rolled his eyes right in front of me. Amazing. I just decided to pay and leave. Lesson learnt. I posted a picture of the dish. Item can be seen in the website menu."

Hanno anche portato via patatine incompiute e stavamo ancora mangiando, per la fretta di finire il servizio. La posizione è eccellente, e Maria Pia è uno dei luoghi preziosi di Alghero: si avrebbe l'oro in mano!... Ma sulle relazioni e sulla ricezione del personale avete un sacco di strada per fare ahimé... peccato!"

"Not the best pizza we have eaten in our life but it does a good trick. We were the first to be seated in the outside area, which is recommendable for the hot summer evenings. The waiter was quick to ask us what we wanted, whilst we had difficulty to decide. Also the pizze came immediately after we finished our starters, so we don;t see why other people have complained about the service. Anyway, the food and the wine are average taste. The starters, they have quite a choice are certainly okay. The housewine was bearable. The pizzas had a good tasting and balanced topping but we had difficulty to get slice the crust even though our knives seemed fit to do the job. Typical: they have a children playground in the outside courtyard where you are eating. So smaller Italian families and also locals are comming to this place. It was a good evening and diner around the corner of our lodging. Not spectacular or something you would take a long walk to."
