"After a year I returned to the Alamo and found the same pleasure of a friendly environment, professional even in small things. Good quality. We regretted the urtigade/orziarasa eaten by them when the next day we ate them in another restaurant. Very good the swordfish with citrus fruits with a perfect cooking. Their Paella is of excellent quality for the freshness of the ingredients and its balance of flavors but also the other dishes are not less."

"We had dinner twice in a row. For starters we had some mussles with tomato sauce (zuppo di.... Something : which was the best ever. Later we had some swordfish and orata fish and it was good (not excellent but good . The other day we had some oysters which were excellent and (again mussles. We also recommend ravioli with gamberi. For the main course we had some grilled squid and it was not so good. They have really great house wine (white and red which is good. Over all probably one of the best trattorias in Alghero. If you want to eat there you MUST make a reservation!"

"What to say, our fault, at the time of order and passed a very nice waitress to list what they had in the menu, then ordered appetizers, first (not for me that I am celiac) and seconds with contours. So, where's the trick? but the account, not having menu with price list, could spake with the imagination. spaghetti with clams 17 euro l one, put together were not even abundant. the first ones where the spaghetti cost 1.50 the kl.A me the roast calamaro that are celiac, 15 euros sbam, the salad apart, two shrimp to whiskey (8gamberi) 30 euros sbam, the salads 5 euros l one, then calamaro roast more salad 20 euros, a little caruccio. Since the waitress listed lunch as in the farms, I thought fixed price. Ask if you happen the menu with its prices, because the food is good, so you will not run into unpleasant surprises."

"We initially came here because our Airbnb included daily breakfast here. I usually prefer to make my own coffee, but we gave it a try and we were very satisfied they even have vegan options (soy milk, vegan croissants . Each day we chatted a bit with Fabiola and her mom, the owners, and they were delightful. We decided to come for lunch...and then for dinner. The food is delicious we had zuppa di cozze (mussels that was out of this world. Eggplant Alghero style is a must. Ditto for spaghetti vongole veraci (clams . My husband, who is Italian, was also very impressed (which is not easy! . She does offer the typical tourist dishes because of customer demand (lasagne, etc , but that is not the way to go. The best thing to do is ask her what her specials are that day and go with whatever she is excited about. Also, she made us homemade lemon sorbetto (sorbet right on the spot the best I 've ever had. Her ice cream is great, too! As for the service...I can see why people looking for fast food or a quick bit to eat, etc. would be disappointed. Fabiola likes to get to know her customers. She only has one or two employees so she and her mom are doing pretty much everything. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing meal overlooking one one of Alghero 's historic towers, and if are OK with eating like a local, I would highly recommend this place. If you are in a hurry or looking for pasta dishes that have nothing to do with Alghero (pasta bolognese, carbonara, etc. but constitute today 's globalized on demand Italian food, there are many touristy places in Alghero that will serve you mediocre food much faster. If you want are willing to spend the time on an authentic experience and trust what the owner recommends, then this is your place."

"this has always been a bar, not even of the best of fertility, because often it did not have pasta for breakfast and is always fed with soy milk or without lactose. If you're a breakfast bar, you'll have to equip yourself. I'm going to have breakfast this summer and I realize they've become a restaurant, improvised and very expensive in prices. the owner emphasizes me several times that I was occupying a table uselessly, because I asked for breakfast and it was time for lunch, basically I was making her lose some money. On the assumption that I decide what time to have breakfast and what time to have lunch and not to decide a bartender, the lady has behaved like a big ****. By the way, the breakfast cost me 18€. I took a cappuccino, two toasts, a croissant, a glass of watermelon, two juices and three bottles of water. Also, it was known that there was a sign with the fixed menu at 25€ and below it was written that it was forbidden to share the menu with another person. the right way and the more cafone to run away customers and tourists. I'll never go. I'll do her a favor, I'll never take a table at lunch time for a poor breakfast. Not recommended."

"The restaurant has a lot of potential: on the seafront of Alghero, it has good fish, it is in the center. We found ourselves relatively well, we ordered a grill of fish for two (30€, so rather cheap) that actually was for one, but of good quality. We were served in a short time, but there was a discussion about a lack of service to a couple of boys."

"the location in civic square is great. but it is only advisable if there are few people. when, as it is logical in summer to alghero, there is the full (and here there are so many tourists really) the service is completely insufficient, the waiters, although good and kind, do what they can but can not follow everyone, and there are therefore very long waits that make you tired and irritate. they should put a lot more into service. for the rest, the location inside is beautiful, and also the external ones, very nice both on the square and on a terraced terraced side on the right side, that in summer is also quite airy. good food even if not too abundant. There's so much to improve, but they can do it."

"late summer evening, and finally, at the third attempt, we can come to eat in this trattoria. the presence of antonella at the tables gives the local the atmosphere of a trasteverina dinner, informal and caciarona, which projects us from alghero to the eternal city. we are in four, we begin with two tri of bruschettes and a portion (in reality are four pieces) of julium bruschette, made with melted butter, oil, garlic, parsley, anchovies and chili, definitely superbuone; follow, the first of the Roman tradition, that is tonnarelli cacio and pepper, gricia, amatriciana, and a first of them creation, spaghetti at sunset, all. Tiramisù, water, wine of the house, and two very good beers made in recommended rome, we arrive at about 105 euros, with round of bitters offered (an extra vote only for that, a habit that has lost, now, almost everywhere). We'll come back, we'll have to taste every second!"

"Food was great, tuna with beetroot and mayonnaise was gorgeous. Cocktails also interesting. The location by the sea is really nice, you should not forget a second layer because of the sea breeze at night."

"Buonasera, l'anno vecchio oramai è andato. Tutto sommato non è stato un anno malvagio (parlo per me ovviamente)… Poteva magari andare meglio la cena della vigilia. Il personale di sala (due/tre operatori) insieme a quello della cucina non si sono coordinati al meglio per terminare in bellezza l'anno. Forse non è nemmeno colpa loro.... 55 ospiti, se non ho contato male, tenuti in sospeso per tre ore con i soli antipasti serviti. Non potevate pretendere di trattenerci oltre e non potevate pret … – show"

"Restaurant is set in the old ball room/restaurant of this magnificent historic villa. The menu is quite small but the food is of high quality. If you stay in the villa you get the benefit of the delicious desserts for breakfast. If you dine here as a non resident make sure you make Tim for a pre dinner appetitive overlooking the stunning gardens."

"Our expectations where really high due to the raving reviews we had read, but we were so dissappointed... We also saw all the pictures of pretty dishes, but our 4 dishes only had 1 that looked the part. My partner wanted a small beer, but the only beer available was a 0,75 liter bottle. It cost € 15 and came in a wine cooler. It was really good, but why not also give the possibility for a smaller option? 1 of the antipasti was the viola shrimps. They apparently came raw, allthough this was not clear on the menu the words crudo and raw should have been in the discription . There was a light bitterness to it, which overshadowed the delicate taste of raw prawns. The pasta with razor clams: the clams were pureed into a sauce, which made for a grey looking and unpleasant fish. The sliced beef was just throen on a plate and was bleeding, so the meat had not rested and was tough. We where underwhelmed, to say the least. What happened? Did the chef have a night of? This wasvour 13th ! dinner in Sardinia and it might have been the worst. It was also the most expensive."

"Me and Marcella went for a brunch after have seen the restaurant few days before. The idea recalls the cafes in London where we go every now then. Quarky concept with a fusion between an Italian aperitif bar, tapas bar and English cafe. They don’t really get any of them. Plans and green everywhere, giving the idea of Bio and organic, but since we received the bread we understood there was something wrong. It followed the avocado on toast, the bread wasn’t even toasted as the menu said and the crostone with burrata and ham wasn’t crispy either. It would cost them just a better touch and slightly better ingredients, like good quality bread, to impress us or at least make something acceptable for an average brunch."

"This was one of the first places we came across once we arrived and were greatly warmly by Luca. We had delicious pizza the first night, a clam soup later in the week and on our last night enjoyed the grilled fish platter. All the staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English and helped us with our poor Italian. Great views of the beach from the terrace."
