"Unglaublich, wie doch die Zeit vergeht. Mehr als vier Jahre ist es her, dass wir dieses hübsche Restaurant zuletzt besucht haben. Damit hatte ich nun gar nicht gerechnet.   Und dabei war es sogar noch ein Versehen. Meine Frau dachte wir fahren nach Hersfeld und wunderte sich, warum ich links, statt rechts abgebogen bin. Ich wiederum hatte Alsfeld geplant und wollte dort chinesisch essen gehen.   Nun, letztendlich waren wir in Alsfeld Altenburg und sind dort Pizza essen gegangen : . Was gut so war! Vier Jahre ist eine viel zu lange Zeit! Das muss sich zukünftig ändern. Die schöne Innenstadt Alsfelds wiederum scheint dem Aussterben geweiht. Zig Restaurants, die dicht gemacht haben und viele leer stehende Läden und Carl Ramspeck macht auch zu : eine weitere Institution Alsfelds . Kartoffelsack, Adel.Es, Valentino, Asia Bistro Panda alle haben sie den Betrieb eingestellt! Und das von mir ins Auge gefasste China Restaurant haben wir nicht gefunden. Womöglich auch schon dicht gemacht, bevor wir es kennenlernen konnten.   Und so ging es weiter in den nur 3 Minuten Autofahrt entfernten Ort Altenburg.   Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und: welch Freude! Wir konnte sogar den selben Tisch wählen, an dem wir auch beim letzten Mal gesessen hatten. Und es kam uns wirklich nicht vor wie vier Jahre in der Vergangenheit.   Unsere halbrunde Nische   Und der Tisch war genau so schön eingedeckt wie beim letzten Mal.   Tischdeko   Und nachdem die Gäste vor Kopf das Restaurant verlassen hatten, wurde es auch ein weniger ruhiger und andächtiger. Neu war zumindest der lange Spiegel über dem Tisch vor Kopf .   Langer Tisch vor Kopf   Wir wussten beide nicht mehr, was wir beim letzten Mal gewählt hatten. Aber wir hatten beide großen Hunger und wählten so auch beide eine Vorspeise. Meine Liebste einen kleinen Salat, ich die schon bewährte Zwiebelsuppe, die ich dann doch noch in Erinnerung hatte.   Diesmal wählte ich eine Pizza und wie sich später herausstellte, war es die gleiche Version wie die, die meine Liebste vier Jahr vorher verspeist hatte.   Und meine Holde nahm etwas von der Tageskarte: Nudeln nach Art des Hauses!   Ob neue Idee oder nicht, wir wissen es nicht, weil wir beim letzten Mal keinen Salat bestellt hatten. Der Salat meiner Frau wurde in einer Pizzateigschüssel angerichtet:   Insalata Italiana   Sehr lecker und frisch, mit Karotten, Gurken, diversen grünen Salaten, Tomaten, Rukola, Schinken , Zwiebeln und Ei. Kaum vorstellbar, dass dies alles Platz in der Teigschüssel hatte, aber das Foto täuscht von der Größe her!   Die Zwiebelsuppe überraschte mich ja schon beim letzten Mal. Die Terrine mit einer Haube aus Pizzateig überbacken.   Zwiebelsuppe unter der Teighaube   geöffnete Teighaube mit Zwiebelsuppe   Eine witzige, wohlschmeckend aber auch gefährlich Idee. Wenn man zu viel von der Pizzateighaube zu sich nimmt, dann hat man womöglich nicht mehr genug Platz für die Hauptspeise! Also aufgepasst! Die Zwiebelsuppe war jedenfalls wieder sehr lecker, auch in Kombination mit dem Pizzateig. Ich musste mir auf die Finger klopfen, um nicht auch noch den Rand zu essen.   Nun, kurze Zeit später wurde ein fahrbarer Tisch in unsere Richtung geschoben. Wir waren ein wenig überrascht, denn warum sollte man uns die Hauptspeisen nicht aus der Hand überreichen? Bis wir realisierten, dass es sich um einen Parmesankäse handelte, der sogleich mittels etwas Alkohol angezündet und zum Schmelzen gebracht wurde.   Parmesan in Flammen   Daraufhin wurde die vierkantige Pasta hinzugegeben und im Parmesan gewälzt. Verzeiht die Ausdrucksweise, aber ich bin einfach nur Genießer und kein wirklicher Kenner möglicher Fachbegriffe ; .   Pasta frisch in Parmesan gewälzt Schließlich stand die fertige und wohlduftende Kreation auf dem Tisch! Wow! Mit den Worten noch mehr Parmesan muss glaube ich nicht sein wurden wir zum Genießen alleine gelassen.   Nudeln nach Art des Hauses   Am liebsten hätte ich ja meine Liebste während des Essens gefilmt. Mit teils geschlossenen Augen wurde genossen. Und diese Worte hatte ich zuvor noch nie gehört das ist das beste Nudelgericht meines Lebens! . Ich könnte jetzt frustriert sein und in der heimischen Küche zukünftig Abstand von meinem warmen Nudelsalat nehmen, aber ich habe probiert, und auch ich war begeistert!   Dagegen war dann meine Pizza nur eine sehr gute Pizza . Eigentlich genau wie beim letzten Mal! Alles frisch, rundum knusprig, perfekter Teig, was will man mehr? Pizza Capricciosa   Zwischendurch wurden wir mehrfach auch von unterschiedlichen Personen gefragt, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit sei. Perfekt! Hier fühlt man sich wirklich als Gast und umsorgt.   Den Abschluss bildete dann ein Aperitif als Gruß des Hauses. Grappa für die Dame, Ramazotti für den Herren.   Voller Wohlgefühl und mit sattem Magen machten wir uns auf den Heimweg. Vier Jahre werden wir jetzt nicht mehr warten! Garantiert nicht!   Bezüglich Örtlichkeit nur wenige Minuten von der Autobahnabfahrt Alsfeld West entfernt und weiteren Beschreibungen empfehle ich den vorherigen Bericht aus 2015. "Occupationally it swallowed us a night after Alsfeld. Since we did not want to take our dinner directly at the hotel, we strolled a little through the beautiful old town of Alsfeld and came to a large cross after a short walk. There was an Italian and the restaurant Mainz Gate. Since there were already Italian cuisine for lunch with a customer, we entered the German guest house Mainzer Tor after a short look at the map. The guest room was very well visited for a Monday evening and we took place on one of the two still free tables. The establishment of the place was simple and original, there were different beers and we chose a Christmas bock. After a short look at the map we chose the Christmas menu. To the appetizer we got a clear meat broth with awnings, leaves and egg engraving. Crafty good and tasty. As a main dish there was a goose nail with potato dumplings and semmelknödel and red cabbage. The food was delicious, the serving was very big. The dessert was a speculative parfait with a fruit level. Overall, the food was simple, but well prepared and tasty. The menu cost 16.50 euros, which really represented an outstanding price performance ratio. We drank some beer and every 3 bucks after dinner. In total we paid 49, Euro without tip. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. In the somewhat separated counter area came on a flat screen football and smoking was allowed, which was not noticeable in the restaurant area. Neither the TV nor the smoke has disturbed. The family business was noticed by three generations of women taking on service. While the two younger women were very strenuous and open-minded, the senior manager had tried, but did not spray before kindness. It didn't bother, but she probably didn't have the greatest pleasure to work this evening! Overall it was a very successful evening for us as a stranger. After the somewhat stiff ambience of lunch, it was a great opportunity for us to make the day sound in a simple but very pleasant ambience. FAZIT: If you like a simple ambience and look for home cooking, you'll be safe here. For high-quality gastronomy, you should definitely visit another place. If we come back to Alsfeld, we can well imagine having the evening again at the Mainz Gate!"

"During our last visit (and first visit about two and a half months ago we wrote: Now we have to come back here to taste the pizza, because it went away like warm spices. After the Christmas holidays, the kitchen should remain cold, and so we came to the thoughts of implementing our project today. And we liked both pizzas. Good conditions to taste the last pizza outstanding. We had the naive thought that now, after Christmas and before the New Year, not so much goes and are ready to visit Alsfeld without reservation. However, we still have some alternatives. Finding a parking lot was not so difficult. It was also open, but when we entered the guest room, in which last time a fish from his aquarium looked on the plate, this was occupied until the last table. Already in my head the alternatives turned when we were asked for the friendly reception of two people? I followed a little back, but we had forgotten the small room on the other side of the restaurant and we were led here. Three of the four tables were still free in the cozy small room with a tiled stove. Juhu! Five minutes later the other tables were occupied. Happy! I'm going through my onion soup test, so we don't have a starter this time. The Pizza Capricciosa once again corresponded to our two ideal pizzas, so we also ordered them twice. Once as if without salami and in the middle version for my heart, once as a big version plus garlic for mine. And, of course, Bitter Lemon for my wife and for me a dark field of wheat beer for 2.50 euros hardly to underbid!! Despite the great urge, both the order and preparation of the dishes went very fast. And it looked good. Everything done right. The pizza of my wife here as desired without salami (we also know that different and my extra garlic. Optic is already successful. Dark, crispy looking and NOT curved edge. General coating of fresh mushrooms, fresh peppers and fresh onions, with ham and salami. Crispy, she ate. Tastefully fine, well seasoned and aromatic. Just enjoy. Now we had already tasted the Pinocchio Pizza as the best pizza in Alsfeld's core town, probably at this time with the supplement, because today it turned out that this pizza is just as delicious here! And so we say today: Alsfeld's core town offers the best pizza in several places. We recommend going further and recommend visiting our report from October 2015, as we do not want to repeat here. "(Ein Mittagessen mit zwei Personen für 29,80 Euro) Heute waren wir schon sehr früh in Alsfeld unterwegs und dementsprechend auch sehr früh mittagshungrig . Eine der Möglichkeiten für ein frühes Essen ist das Marktcafe. Direkt am Marktplatz gelegen wirbt es mit einer Reihe von Aufstellern für durchgehend warme Küche und den diversen Angeboten. Parkplätze finden sich mit etwas Glück sogar in Gehminuten( Sekunden)nähe am Markt zwar kostenpflichtig, denn die freien ersten 30 Minuten reichen sicherlich nicht für ein Mittagessen aus. Bei Betreten bietet sich das Marktcafe als sehr großer, hoher, mit warmen Farben gestalteter heller Raum, mit diversen Tischen und Bänken an. Der erste Eindruck ist, man steht in einem relativ leeren Kaufhaus nur die Rolltreppe fehlt. Wir suchten uns eine nette Bank am Durchgang zum Cafe. Die Wand hinter uns garniert mit diversen Fotos berühmter Persönlichkeiten, die dieses Haus schon besucht haben, sowie verschiedenen Zertifikaten. Die Servicekraft kam überaus flink an unseren Tisch und wir bestellten schnell Getränke und eine hausgemachte Kartoffelrahmsuppe als Vorspeise für mich, um sodann in Ruhe die Karte zu studieren. Alles sehr ansprechend klingend entschieden wir uns für Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat . Für meine Frau gebratene Hähnchenbrust mit Tomaten Basilikumsoße, für mich das mit gekochtem Schinken, Champignons und Käse überbackene Schnitzel Wallis . Getränke und auch Vorsuppe kamen relativ schnell. Die  angekündigte hausgemachte Kartoffelrahmsuppe hat meine Erwartungen jedoch sehr enttäuscht. Sie war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Sehr wässrig und ohne Geschmack. Schade. Dafür übertrafen dann die Hauptspeisen die Erwartungen. Doch zuerst kamen die kleinen Salatteller. Frisch zubereitet, ansprechend angerichtet, lecker. Kurz darauf folgten Hähnchenbrust und Schnitzel Wallis. Pommes bei beiden Gerichten gut gelungen und schmackhaft. Das panierte Schnitzel Wallis wie zu Hause schmeckend, in der Pfanne gebraten und mit frischen Champignons  überbacken. Bravo! (und wieder erinnern wir uns kopfschüttelnd an die Dosenpilze kürzlich auf einer Pizza in einem Lokal, wo wir es wirklich nicht erwartet hätten) Friteusen Schnitzel mit Standardsauce kann ich nicht mehr sehen! Auch die gebratene Hähnchenbrust lecker und saftig schmeckend. Wirklich gut. Insofern fällt die nichtssagende Kartoffelrahmsuppe nur wenig ins Gewicht und wir geben trotzdem ein Gut geschmeckt für das heutige Mittagessen weil ok ist dann doch zu wenig in Anbetracht des Hauptgangs! Also wenn wir zum Shoppen ins Alsfeld unterwegs sind, dann gerne wieder einmal ein Besuch im Marktcafe.   Unser Verzehrtes: hausgemachte Kartoffelrahmsuppe 3,10 Schnitzel Wallis mit gekochtem Schinken, Champignons und Käse überbacken, dazu ein kleiner Salatteller und wahlweise Pommes, Kroketten oder Rösti 10,80 Gebratene Hähnchenbrust mit Tomaten Basilikumsoße, dazu ein kleiner Salatteller und wahlweise Pommes, Kroketten oder Rösti 10,80 Bitter Lemon 0,2 l 2,20 Hefeweizen 0,5 l 2,90"

Today I'm making it short not to write so well. And now, the longer the visit is, the harder it gets. And it's a shame if I don't know about it soon. A small version for my wife to the small part of Lende. The salads are very appealing, varied and fresh, with sunflower seeds and dresses bestreuted and really good Schmanddressing. The main food came very fast before the salad was half destroyed. And both lumbar vertebral variants have tasted us relatively well. The cheese sauce to the band noodles was somewhat weak in taste, but the meat was tender and not dry. Like me medals Swiss style. Although not particularly juicy, but also not too dry and overall it tasted. We'll come back someday because there's so much to try it out here. I was recently attentive to the great red letters pizzeria. that was new to me. home was gloomed, and it turned out: yes, in the hotel for recreation there is a gastronomy with Italian effects. the data entered at gg were outdated. in 2010, when the entry was created, hotel and restaurant were not operated long. after about five years emptying it was reopened in september 2013 after renovation and nine months rebuild under the name esmer hotel esmer restaurant. that was past us. hotel for recreation we have often read about passing through the house, but that it also attracts gastronomy, something goes down. here's gone! so today it was the total contrast to yesterday. today in the middle of asfeld we were the only guests, yesterday in rural asfeld old castle it thrives in the gas room before living. from the beginning: parking was possible well on the road of the greenbergstraße, a next road of the road as fields through the road. Information that you can find in the internet before or in our friendly restaurant staff will be the various lunch menus in the internet under the rubric delicious weekly offer as pizza day, carving day, noodle day and salad day, where the mentioned diners should be discounted at the discounted price. we don't know, because today was actually a naked day, we weren't told first. but we didn't ask because we wanted to eat a la carte. but also here the next surprise: the card was different from the internet. so there was not the court of my favorite house on the map chosen. otherwise the menu was covered with the internetflyer and offered much more to dress. the prices were different. the tweebelsuppe in the internet cost another 4.50 euro, so she surprised me now with 3.90 euro. in the rule all dishes were somewhat cheaper than in the internet. if I am already on the internet appearance, apart from the inconvenience, I will take it before so much of what is praised, it was not felt by us. so it says (it is our simple opportunity to give the special note and make fine kitchen even better and (it is our desire to unite the best of local and international cuisine. local cuisine, regional dishes, I have completely missed in the menu. only variation of the native salate could be interpreted as such. otherwise the menu presents me as typical Italian (pizza, pasta, meat and fish, with very few sets of German or international dishes (French wobbles suppe, but good, we approach so slowly. the suppe for me was written without question. my schatz was so happy with her main dish and left the appetizer. there was a side salad for her chicken breast fillet. today I was responsible for pizza and chose from the map the pizza with everything. there was the obligatory bitter lemon for my wife and a quarter pinotgrigio for me. the sounds from the kitchen sound after more operation. for we were the only (visible guests, it took much longer than expected to serve my wound soup, and it was again a good contrast to yesterday. even though the woollen soup was covered with a hood, but with a cheese hood and hermetically sealed. I must confess, I did not find the offer particularly aesthetic. in any case had not been saved. tastefully she was between ok and good. as I spooned my wobble soup and fought with the cheese, my dearest destroyed her by lethalate and was very happy with it. no iceberg salad, various leaf salads, but in different fresh condition. but only a small disc and a small tomate. no comparison to a day before another place. then it took again a small but pleasant dae, until pizza and chicken breast found the way to our table. I had to swallow in the pizza because I was clear that I couldn't do it today! not because of the size, but only because of the mass of the cheese that covered the pizza and almost all else suffocated, and similar to the soup hermetically sealed. the teig was tastefully good, at the rande also chess, but then in the middle, soaked and rather baked too little. the ply was sufficient, the peperoniwurst nicely sharp, paprika from consistency and taste probably deep-cooled as well as the mushrooms. tastefully ok, but simply too much cheese. almost half the pizza I took home, and then I could look forward to dinner. the young chicken breast was grilled and tasted good. there were mushrooms in a creamy sauce that had been a little more tied and would have won too much salt. in the associated pommes our ghosts divorced. my wife found her big, I also of the optics, but they were too fat and also more content, as I just say, almost as if there was no content, so kind of hollow. No matter, my wife was thinking another, and they sounded her well and that counts! Now, we were saturated and finished and ordered the bill. and my pizza was packed for the home way. I no longer know why, but with a last look at her jazz bottle my wife noticed that the durability date was stated on 23.10.2015 so tomorrow, no, we are not one of the people who are strict on it. there are so many things that are still edible for weeks and months later, in so far lost with us almost nothing! but it was remarkable to see this. they can see how little gay here is drunk, and while I see it on the bottle I see: there are 0.2 l, while on the bill 0.25 l (I don't know if there is 0.25 l bottle. we wish the restaurant more guests! more advertising and a revised internet presence could help! the missing display of opening times and rest days has made the visit for us a happy game. the smell as it is in the menu: French fumig soup with cheese baked 3,90 € pizza 'with all ' with salami, front ham, champignons, peperoniwurst, paprika wobbles 7,00 € (big yäger chicken breast fillet with pommes frites and salat 9.00 € bitter lemon 0.25 l was asked and nobody looked out of it. or whether there are any drinks missing, etc. otherwise the damm was from the reception and obviously also responsible for the service was very nice!"
