What a great place! Came here a few weeks ago with family who already know and enjoy this venue, its lovely food and drink and friendly staff. Late lunch, freshly made was great and the coffee superb. This is a must eating and drinking spot for our next visit.

Another restaurant in Bournemouth that was a real treat to visit. Fab food and a good atmosphere. Cakes to die for and all 100 vegan. What more could you ask for! We visited for lunch twice on our short holiday in Bournemouth and neither visit disappointed. The only negative is that they shut too early for an evening meal visit!

"(meaning, 2 people, €31.70 ... but unfortunately in the implementation a little disappointed. returning from a morning trip we made on the way back on Tuesday in asfeld stop to add another restaurant to our experience treasure. I had remained the very appealing pictures of the mainzer tor in memory, which were hired by the operators at the beginning of the year at gg. after a (shadow parking was found almost right in front of the door, the mainzer tor was quite appealing from the outside and the menu in the appendage very tasty sounded for us: we try it out. friendly by the chef, the beer garden was offered to us, but because of the heat it was rather discouraged. we looked at ourselves, a snucky, but in this heat no pleasure to sit there and so we agreed to the wet and looked for a lassy corner in the dining room. the covered with light wood and parts of the side walls did not fit completely to the Mediterranean style of the white textured walls and arches. partly it awakened the impression of a living room (book corner but good, it is also a pension and you should feel at home. a lot of culturally different decorations, from the french advertising sign to Japanese art bonsais and various madonnen depictions. the menu was very nice and lovingly designed, partly embellished with pressed leaves. the introduction explains: as we prepare almost everything fresh, it can take a little longer... .. there are many really tasty dishes that did not make a selection at the first visit easy. I am now once (before suppen enthusiasts, especially from kartoffelsuppen, and so the asfields of kartoffel stew in the eyes. the description of all-cooked carrots these finely spiced with fresh lovage, with kartoffel and carrot cubes, as well as 1 bauernwurst to this we rich black bread for 4.50 € let me run the water in mouth together. delicious! but my question is if I could also create a main dish after this potato stew was rather negated. well, so I asked if I could not possibly have a small portion of the one-pot, so to speak, to be able to taste it at once. but that was also negated. it would be all pre-proportioned and, in addition, you don't know where the second was throwing... so far as fresh preparation. preproportionate. well, it means almost everything freshly prepared. that was the first damper. but good, I turned over to the leberknödelsuppe and then decide for the vogelsberger drecksack as main food. because only one potato stew I didn't want to eat. I would have liked to try it... my wife also decided to do something light because of the heat and ordered alaska sealachsfilet. the second small damper followed when we discovered a side of the slitter distillery on the menu under the motto from the region for the region. the small probierstube with six different spirituoses of the slitter distillery was also offered here as a gift. zitat: ask her gastwirt . we did and unfortunately there was no more! the last probierstube had been sold only three days ago. very bad! well, but we were here to eat, not to buy gifts. the waiting time was not long, but a little bit leisurely, and then the supplemental salads stood before us. mostly freshly dressed with a small cherry as a tasty. we found unusual. with a relatiw ekligen lauwarmen leberknödelsuppe had begun our restaurant reviews in oktober 2013. this was now the first leberknödelsuppe since the event at that time and she was better by lengths! and before all the things she was hot! the soul of my wife was ok, and the vogelsberger drecksack also wounded me. crisper croquettes might have been a little exaggerated it were holding croquettes. the overcrowded scavengers were good and I saw that a potato stew instead of leberknödelsuppe would not have been feasible/creat for me at the best. eating ok, well felt we too. cleanliness was good, apart from empty paper towel dispenser on the damentoilette and the not so doll herrentoilette. This is not barrier-free through the stairs. good is the location, just a few meters from the beginning of the pedestrian zone, and parking can be safely found in the many side streets in the vicinity of the run. or directly at the marketplace. all in all, our visit was ok. if I have smaller starving, and we are randomly in thanfield, then I will definitely try the kartoffel stew. And now I don't use the word here anymore, otherwise it still looks like hanging my life from kartoffelsupp or a pot off; . even if the rating is staring maybe not as good as it is, nevertheless I would like to try it! the sweetened, as it is in the map: Bavarian leberknödelsuppe with leberkloß, bakerbsen, with toast 3,20 € vogelsberger drecksack, juicy panted carvings covered with fresh swung champignons, swash and spk cubes for crowning with cheese overheated, crispy"
