"We were a table of 12. We were seated in an area (inside) that was really cold. We all kept our coats on the whole of the way through the meal. Even with our coats on we were still uncomfortably cold. They had plug in mobile heaters but we couldn't feel any heat even though they were pointed directly at us. It kind of tarnished the whole meal. We'd have left and gone somewhere else but would have been tricky to find another restaurant that could take a table for 12 with no notice. Food was hit and miss. My food was great but others in my group weren't happy with theirs. On the whole it seems like a nice restaurant, nice layout and atmosphere. The staff were nice too. But just freezing cold and food is a lottery. Probably safer to go in the summer."

"Despite it being Valentine's Day and a set menu in place, I arrived around 8:30 PM to find the restaurant 90% full. After waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order, we finally placed it. Unfortunately, my starter was incorrect, and our main courses were served lukewarm. The dessert was decent, though. As a gesture for our delays, we received complimentary dessert wines. I also overheard another table behind us expressing dissatisfaction with their service. Perhaps it was just an off night, but this was my worst experience here in a long time. In the future, I'll consider other restaurants when looking for a romantic spot for two."

"I had a lovely dining experience at this charming hidden gem near Bermondsey station. We stopped in for a weeknight dinner before heading to a gallery opening at White Cube."

"I visited this restaurant with my two children, ages 6 and 10. The server who attended to us had a very cold and unfriendly demeanor. She directed us to a specific table to sit at, even though there were other empty tables available. We requested to sit at the back in order to all fit on one bench, but she coldly informed us that those seats were reserved. We ended up sitting where she directed us and waited about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. After eating, we left and noticed that the supposedly reserved seats remained empty. Overall, the customer service was lacking."

"The two employees who were present, Gemma and Alicia, were nice and friendly. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent; everything arrived quickly. However, there was another woman who came out from the back and seemed to be intimidating one of the staff members while she was talking to them. From what I could see, she appeared to be quite condescending."

"Decent food, and served very quickly. Good menu variety. Prices probably a little steep for some of the menu but others were very well priced. Had the chilli beef nachos which was nice but needed to be a bit fresher. Girlfriend had southern fried chicken burger which was amazing! Cajun fries were brilliant!"

"This was the most recommended place for afternoon tea from our London locals that we know- and it certainly lived up to our expectations for the experience. The Wolseley is known for its afternoon tea and overall environment it eludes. We were greeted by a doorwoman who directed us to the hostess and we were promptly seated for our reservation. The service was quick and for tea was wonderful. Overall the sandwiches and biscuits were good, however, I was not necessarily a fan of the desserts. I will say they are very accommodating with allergies and that was very nice. Afternoon tea per person costs around 44.95 euros and it comes with a tea pot of tea with your choice and a tower with hand sandwiches, 3 biscuits, and a variety of pastries/desserts."

"There aren't many places that you can sit outside, upstairs or downstairs in a cafe, but Fresh has all three. The only downside to seating outside is that you are right next to s small pub and people often stand just outside and smoke. They have a computer for internet access, and every time I have been here, the staff are lovely, also one of the rare places you can get soy milk and a decent vegetarian choices."

"My friend and I tried the vegan crepes and waffles at this restaurant and we were really impressed with how delicious they were. My friend wasn't a fan of the synthetic-tasting ice that came with his dish, but I enjoyed it. The presentation of the plates was a bit plain as they were not decorated, but the crepe was good and the waffles were outstanding - fluffy and perfect! The staff were friendly and accommodating."

"The manager of this restaurant is extremely rude. Hopeless service by the delivery staff. Twice my order was not delivered and the restaurant manager is very rude to admit that. He said its delivered and he cant help me with anything. Upfront on my face he denied the failed delivery. He says the delivery guy has a foto and video but when i asked to show me, he refused. I was wrongly charged twice and the fraudulent rude behavior of the store manager is even more disgusting and annoying. Never going to order again from this place."

"The vegan options at this restaurant are just okay, but they feel a bit lackluster. I also had a bad experience with a 'vegan' waffle that actually contained milk or egg, which makes me doubt the chain's understanding of vegan ingredients. Another frustrating aspect is that they offer only a limited selection of vegan ice cream, instead of just sorbet. The chocolate sorbet was disappointing and didn't pair well with the decadent desserts."

"This place is always busy! And there's a good reason for that too.. Not only is it diabetes central, it's also home to the yummiest desserts ranging from waffles, ice cream, crepes, hot cookie dough, cream cake (is your mouth watering yet? .. Creams attracts all sorts of crowds, especially children (of corse so the atmosphere tends to be loud which can be annoying sometimes. The price is very decent for what you're receiving, and most desserts can be shared as it's difficult to finish the large sundaes alone! The decor inside is wonderful with its purple glitter walls and American style seating, which has become a signature look for Creams. Service is always friendly and fast as they need to keep up with the demand, and keep the customers moving. Which brings me to the most annoying thing about this place if you come at a busy time you should expect to be waiting a while to be seated! It is worth the wait however so hang in there.."

"We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant thanks to Ali Fawad, who provided excellent service. He patiently took our large order, smiling and offering suggestions throughout our meal. He checked in with us after each dish to ensure everything was to our liking, and made sure the kids were comfortable and enjoying their meal. A big thank you to Ali for his outstanding hospitality."

"Afternoon Tea. It took 40 mins before we were served a pot of tea, which was half full and lukewarm. We asked for a full pot of hot tea, they then served a full pot of tea (for two people) with only one tea bag, so it was very weak. They apologised and brought a decent pot of tea. At the 60 minute point we were discussing whether we should leave. Shortly after we received the scones and small cakes, but had to wait a further 5 minutes for the sandwiches, jam and cream. The sandwiches were small triangles on ordinary cheap bread. The cream portion was tiny enough for 1 scone, we were given 4 scones so had to ask for more cream. The jam was more like runny syrup. The scones were all plain unlike the advertised fruit and plain. The other cakes were fine but tiny. This was our 2nd afternoon tea here. We enjoyed our 1st visit but after our 2nd experience we will not be returning."

"I am a regular at this cafe because it is the best in Dundee! I visit at least three times a week and it's great to have the staff remember my order. They are always friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic, it's relaxing enough to study in but also has a lively vibe! My go-to drink is a large skinny chai (and the large drinks are huge which I love), it's the best chai I've ever had. And at less than £4 with a student discount, it's a steal! My favorite cakes are the Speculoos, Rainbow Cake, and the delicious banoffee muffins. I will definitely be coming back here every week!"

"Absolutely adore this place. The Parlour is friendly and welcoming to all: whether a celeb (favourite haunt of David Walliams), or dropping in for refreshment as an exhausted tourist in the heart London. Or a regular, like my family and friends. Divine food (not cheap, but worth it) and the best teas (obviously) and hot chocolate in the world (and I 'm a hot choc connoisseur. The free mini icecreams with coffee are such a treat. Staff are fun and atmosphere great. Tell them if it 's your birthday and the wonderful Boon (if on duty) will come over and sing Happy Birthday. Just awarded (aug 23) an 'expert 's choice award '. Full disclosure my daughter worked here on a gap year, which is how I came to know about the Parlour (despite being a Londoner)."

"Quirky interior, which was great. Spoke to a young man behind the counter who told us to take a seat and someone would be with us. A young girl and older woman looked at us a few times over the minutes that we were sat there, before the younger girl finally brought menu's. Huge menu, with lots to choose from. Ordered a few minutes later, and waited. Sadly we were informed that they no longer do child sized portions of the cakes, so we ended up with a massive slab of chocolate cake which was only half eaten by our year old. The older woman then approached the table with waffles but referred to one of them with a different name to that on the menu, so we politely said that wasn't our order. The woman basically barked at us that this was what we had ordered. We tried to explain that we hadn't ordered a waffle with that name, and she gave us the filthiest look before tutting and storming back to the counter. We didn't catch what she called us as she walked away. She then very clearly spoke to the young girl about us, giving us filthy looks throughout. The young girl came over with the same waffles and apologised stating there was a miscommunication and that the waffle was the one we has ordered, and not the one the old woman had said. Maybe it would be best to keep such a rude woman out of a public facing role as she clearly holds no interest in any customer service, unless it is bad customer service. She was giving filthy looks to other customers too, not just us, and a couple who dared to walk out after of being ignored was slated by her as they left."

"I've been to this restaurant twice and both times the cake was stale and the cookie dough was subpar. However, I must say that the service was excellent and I enjoyed the ordering process."
