"For the price you pay, this place is extremely noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation since the tables are packed too closely together. When I'm spending so much on a meal, I expect a better atmosphere. The service was lacking as well; the staff appeared either overwhelmed or indifferent. I had to actually call the gentleman back just to order my sides after he walked away immediately following my main order. On a positive note, the quality of the food was good, so hats off to the chef!"

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"We regularly go to the Halfway St. branch for their burgers. My wife is a vegan and judges that their vegan burgers are the best she's had. Including upmarket central London restaurants where she has paid double. On a recent visit we paid cash and it seems that two of the new plastic £10 notes had stuck together in my wallet and I unwittingly handed over £10 too much. Our server came back to our table and returned the £10 to me. Really good and varied food, great friendly service and integrity as well. A winning combination."

"A gift for my 60th birthday. Was so excited as I thought it was in the big west end store, but no, it was in an old bank building, soulless in the city. Emails said to upload photo so they can greet you personally on arrival. Did as instructed but had to hover and wave the maitre’d on arrival. Wasn’t overly busy and a nice young lady seated us. All tables are small (for2only) and in a bright central space, surrounded by jewellery shops, and of course Fortnum &Mason tea and gift shop. It wasn’t cozy and welcoming, more like sitting in an airport departure lounge. 2 afternoon tea towers delivered, with tea,coffee and champagne. The table isn’t large enough for 2 towers, 2 cups, teapot, champagne and water glasses. It’s awkward. AND THE TABLE WOBBLED. Hubby had to keep his foot firmly on the base of central pedestal to reduce the wobble. What should’ve been relaxed, cozy, maybe even romantic was more like a supermarket cafe experience. So disappointing. Maybe go to the Swan in Southwold, they know how to do afternoon tea, they offer a huge offering of savory, Inc. mini fish and chips, then an enormous cake/dessert selection Fortnums afternoon tea £48p/p Swan Southwold afternoon tea £42 Inc champagne. I know where I will go next time. It won’t be F&M"

"first we came in and it was really ugly. there were quiet music and the furniture was really nice. next we ordered, but our waitress was a bit grumpy. but our food came in 14 minutes. it is like almost food restaurant. the Canadian breakfast was really good and the pancakes were huge and delicious. it is a really good restaurant and some of the waiters are really polite. this is a definite 4-star restaurant I just turned 12"

"What a superb pub staffed by lovely professionals. We were here for an evening meal. I had the duo of beef which was blade of beef and two generous portions of fillet of beef. This and the accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection. My wife had the lamb cooked 2 ways which was also excellent. The Eton mess to finish was another triumph and a very individual and modern take. This was 5* restaurant cooking at its best. Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for a memorable meal."

"We booked lunch on line fo4 1145 as we were going to the cinem afterwards. Upon arriving at the robust restaurant we were sat down and handed a brunch menu, apparently they don’t serve lunch until 1230 despite the on line booking Staff were appologetic and for some reason moved us to another table. We were given an amuse bouche to fill in time....sadly that was the highlight. Menu was ok. Ordered the seafood raviolo as a starter with seafood bisque. The pasta was soft on the top but far too hard on its rim. Interesting challenge was eating a bisque with a knife and fork! I had to ask for a spoon. Main was roast partridge in a far too salty sauce, the texture was fascinating as it was supplemented with feathers! My friend had short rib that was also too salty too. My dessert was a lovely creme brûlée, but to add a whisky soaked prune base is bizarre in the extreme. Creme brûlée is a very subtle flavour the compote was far too strong! It was a detour for lunch, was it worth it.....categorically NOT!! Toilets were clean but freezing cold. Not a great experience the prices were high the food wasn’t worth the cost. £85 for two is expensive for what we had."

Cuisine is not Greek/Mediterranean as stated on this website, there are a wide range of tasty salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, main meals, desserts and breakfast options. "charlottes w5 used to be one of our favourites to eat and entertain friends, but recently the dinge seems to have gone a bit wrong. when we arrived, we were told that most fresh fish dishes were not available because the supplier might not have supplied any disturbing sign? the sweet potatoes gnocchi were not good, the others were okay. the service was, however, very complete and not on the standard for the prices they raise in my opinion. it was not busy, but we had to draw attention to order and ask twice for the beverage menu. chips were forgotten, coffee was forgotten, the personal looked haunted. on the plus side the appetizers arrived immediately and were good (although from any reason the Caesar salad was not available? odd) and the waitress offered a free pudding in exchange for a plate of uneaten gnocchi. we can return, but unfortunately I don't think we have the chance to invite friends there again."

"Fantastic dinner, service and ambience. This place is brand new, and once the word gets out it is going to be busy. I had a spinach and cheddar soufflé, the josper Hereford steak frites, and a chestnut meringue for desert. "Victors have changed it is more like a tapas style restaurant where dishes arrive at different time. Just very unorganised some people in the party received their food 30 minutes after the rest of the party had finished. Waitress was nice and very pleasant but the kitchen were unable to accommodate any slight change to a dish. Wouldn’t go back or recommend."

"We ate a late lunch here as a family of 4 last weekend. We were in a bit of a rush as we had to catch a train, and the food did arrive very quickly. I think to pay £9.95 for a halloumi wrap with salad is a bit on the pricey side and would’ve expected a few fries to be included at that price. The souvlaki salad and grilled chicken mayo sandwich were both really over-seasoned unfortunately. On a positive note, the staff are very polite and helpful."

"Its two years since I last visited here for breakfast. It remains a cracking good place to eat. There is a full and varied breakfast menu.
