"Butlers is a First Class dining experience! My husband I had the good fortune to have breakfast included with our stay, and it was soooo delicious we ate there for 8 mornings in a row! I think we tried most of breakfast menu each dish was lovely and service was excellent! We also went for dinner twice Rib Eye Fillet Steak were tender, cooked perfectly and beautifully plated. 2nd dinner we had Hay Smoked Chicken Jacob's Ladder Pie...SUPERB! (We didn't try the Dover Sole, but overheard two different tables who did compliment the Chef for a fabulous meal. The staff is very professional and kind, going above and beyond to make it a memorable place to dine. Kudos to The Chef and staff you ALL helped make our trip special!"

Poor afternoon tea, probably the worst I have had in London. Sandwiches disappointing apart from smoked salmon,, poor quality fillings. Very noisy in the conservatory. Lots of children.

Very nice British tastes, and staff that was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and too many details about the origin, the differences, etc. Didn't like the desert though...

For breakfast, it can't be beat! Attentive service and delicious food, with an exceptional Continental breakfast buffet as well. We never tried it for dinner, as we were always out exploring London, but the menu looked innovative and appealing.

We dined here for high tea. The atmosphere was nice but the food was so incredibly boring for the price. Tea was nice but some of the staff couldn’t even properly describe the teas. I would definitely not do this again but still was a decent experience.

This place is not only beautiful with a romantic vibe, but also very dog friendly. Lots of painting with theme of dogs on the wall, and the gentlemen there offered my Yorkie water. It is said that the owner loves dogs, that's why the hotel welcomes them. The food there is up to standard, and the service was very nice. Don't hesitate if you wanna bring your dog there!

We took our daughter for afternoon tea for her 4th birthday. The table they put us on was tiny, and in a shabby looking corner of the restaurant (seemed this is where they put all the families with kids), the service was slow, the crockery was chipped and stained, the bread was stale, sandwiches bland, scones hard, and cakes were quantity over quality. It was supposed to be winter wonderland themed but the hotel just seemed dated and unloved. Overall very over priced for the experience

I visited with some friends for the Winterwonderland Christmas Tea and was disappointed. Really none of the food was very good at all, and most of it had a texture that made me think it had been sitting out for some time. A big deal was made over the opportunity to eat as much as you want which felt tacky, especially as I 'd prefer a set amount of better quality food. The decor was tacky- and the music was far to loud. It wasnt even Christmas music, just some guy wailing along to Ed Sheeran! The candy striper felt gimmicky but I could see a child appreciating it. I suppose the whole idea of a Christmas tea is gimmicky, and I learned my lesson at a VERY high price .
