"First time I've used B&B's, and I've not been disappointed. I decided to swing by on my way to work, to have a Burrito for my lunch, at work (over in Portsmouth) The Burrito I had was the chicken fajita. It was RAMMED full of food, and well packed. It had been double wrapped too, ready for an extended journey! When I got to finally eat it 2 hours later it was still lovely and warm. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend this place. The property itself is very clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. Great value and all ingredients are very clearly fresh. I'll be visiting again, and likely to make it a Friday lunch treat when this period of my shift comes around again!"

"the third time when eating in social dhaba, great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, personal was really friendly and polite. they've checked us a lot, but not intrusive. eating was delicious, but as always we had ordered some appetizers and they were all quite spicy, even for the chili lovers of our party. we drank a lot of boundless water. "Although we have been to F and Bs before we were disappointed this time round. Firstly the attachment highchair for my son, although the right size and nice to have him at the table was quite dirty. As it was made of canvas it would be hard to clean and did have a smell to it. The restaurant itself was very noisy and we had to really shout to hear each other at our table. The service however was good. Polite and prompt. However most disappointingly was that my wife discovered an inch long metal shard in her food! Staff apologised and made some fresh food but understandably she wasn’t too keen to eat any more and I was concerned what my children had eaten as this had a similar spaghetti dish. I would certainly think again before rebooking. Shame"

"Despite reserving a table for four two days ahead of time, we were informed upon arrival that we would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for our table. I waited for 25 minutes with my elderly mother and three-year-old daughter, but the table was still unavailable. Other patrons mentioned they had been waiting for 45 minutes. Eventually, we decided to go next door to Friendly Phil's, where we were seated within five minutes in a much nicer and better-organized environment. Overall, our experience at Frankie and Benny's was terrible; it was clear they had overbooked and the staff couldn’t manage the situation. I won’t be returning."

"Wagamama is always a great cry for vegans. I was in a variety of chain restaurants and I’m not usually impressed by their vegan options, but Wagamama seems to really care about providing thoughts, interesting vegan dishes, not only those who supply Omnivores on the menu for vegans. Usually there is also a separate vegan menu, although this branch had mixed all options on the same menu. I don't know if this is only specific to this branch or a nationwide change, but it was disappointing as the fully vegan menus are really great. That said they still had the usual options and I went for my favorite the yasai katsu curry. I also have green tea that is free! The Yasai-Kkatsu was tasty, not as good as in previous branches that I had eaten, but I would still recommend there was an attempt to give as it is usually really delicious. My fiancée also didn't love her ducks Donburi!"

"After sitting for 20 minutes without a drinks order we were asked if we were ready to order our food. We said no and that we hadn’t ordered our drinks yet. The staff were very apologetic so we were hopeful that would be that. Sadly...not as the drinks took another 20 odd minutes to arrive. After a long wait for the food as well the burgers were nice, but the fries stone cold. We asked what the problem was and they said they had internal issues and our server hadn’t had a break in 10 hours. We won’t be going back. Clearly they can’t cope in that particular restaurant. I’m sure other Frankie and Bennies are fine. Just not the Crawley one sadly."

The menu offers a fantastic variety, and I appreciate that they prioritize freshly made food. Here's where my experience took a turn. After placing our orders, a friendly staff member informed us that our food would take twenty minutes because it was being freshly prepared. While I appreciate the commitment to freshness, it became frustrating when, after 30 minutes, our food still hadn't arrived. The most disappointing part was that we could see our food ready but unattended on the counter. Despite the restaurant not being particularly crowded, the staff seemed preoccupied with casual chatter among themselves. As a customer, it's disheartening to watch your meal sit untouched while staff members appear oblivious to the fact that it's ready to be served. In an otherwise pleasant afternoon, this service lapse cast a shadow over what could have been a great dining experience. Nando's, I adore your food, but please, let's work on the service aspect to ensure your customers don't leave with a sour taste in their mouths.
