"Podríamos disfrutar de este magnífico restaurante a la hora de cenar. nos quedamos en una de las mesas altas del hermoso interior, aunque tiene una terraza vertiginosa frente a la puerta. cocina local tradicional y platos de “andalusis” (Cocina de la Moroca o África del Norte en general) no se trata de platos diseñados para compartir inicialmente. excelente tarta de pollo picante y calamar de cerámica. el servicio muy amable, amable y atento. claramente es una recomendación al visitar este magnífico “pueblo blanco”."

"I would have appreciated Paradores informing us of how difficult it is to access with suitcases, to which they do not offer alternatives. I would also have appreciated being informed that it is only possible to get some sleep between 01:00 and 06 in the morning, the rest of the time between works, bells, partying around and so on, try to sleep, if you can. I had to go out in person to ask the workers to remove the beeping of a forklift at 7 in the morning, while the reception staff watched. All this obviously charging at the price of Paradores... I am aware of the lack of qualified personnel in the restoration, but you have to do some self-criticism, Paradores. The service is very, very improvable. "Looks like a beach bar from the outside rather than a restaurant, so we didn’t have high hopes for this place and the lack of other customers didn’t allay our fears either; how wrong were we. We received a warm welcome and menus in English and Spanish. Lots of choice on the menu of traditional Spanish dishes, we chose one of their specialities; artichokes with pumpkin seeds, ham, salsa verde and lemon which they kindly left the ham off for me. It’s one of the nicest artichoke dishes I have had, we also had spinach and pine nut croquettes and roast peppers with onion and Melva fish. All the food was excellent with generous tapas portions. My partner had a meat dish that came with home-made chips then afterwards we had desserts; mango and coconut cake which was beautifully presented and packed with tropical flavour and an almond and cream caramel cake which was great but a little too sweet for me. Throughout our meal Juan the owner really engaged with us and his passion and knowledge of regional and seasonal food really showed through and ended up with an invitation to see his produce garden out the back. He grows herbs, broad beans, tomatoes, onions and other bits and bobs and uses them in the restaurant. We went away with a fresh lettuce and onion he insisted we have for supper! We can’t wait to come back here, lovely location overlooking the lake, delicious amazing value food and wine and lovely people."

"We only stop for coffee and waitres are a primer; always with a smile on the face. It was from the few arched sites that attended us for coffee alone. in the others that we stopped, we were not served if we did not ask for food. Obviously, next time will be the first place where we have lunch when we return to travel."

"We entered without reservation, and found a place on the terrace with shadow, which was to thank in full August. They should check all the tables because some people were getting sunshine. The food was all very good, except the coquinas, which were very strong for being made at the end, and they did not seem completely fresh. The service of the waiters very good and pleasant. "He ido a almorzar con mi padre y mi hija hoy día 27/10/23. Hemos pedido el menú del día y la comida estaba espectacular, buenísima. Por persona 10,00. €, así que mejor todavía, porque encima los platos eran contundentes. Bebida, primer y segundo plato, postre y pan y picos. El sitio es precioso y el servicio ha sido muy amable y rápido. Muy recomendable."

"A friend of mine who visited Arcos de la Frontera a few months ago recommended this place and thanks he did! The restaurant was pretty busy but the food was served in a timely manner, and it couldn´t be more delicious. The mix of flavors was simply excellent! "Un lugar para pasar una noche sin pena ni gloria, la simpatía y el agrado del propietario que todos comentan no deja de ser cierto, es así, pero eso no tapa las carencias del establecimiento en cuestión. El depender del propietario para entrar y salir no pensaba que me generaría ningún problema, claro, siempre y cuando te coja el teléfono o lea los wasap, menos mal que se abrir portones sin mando , si no me quedo sin desayunar, el carril de tierra para acceder al establecimiento tampoco pensaba que me generaría problemas, pero si unos badenes artesanales que me rozaban todos lo bajos del coche, en fin, un poco decepcionado."

"the bar specialises in Teas from many different places. it sells good wines and pastries made by Mrs Padua! not the type of run of the mill pastries in other bars, each one her own recipe. inside it is small and many locals use the bar so lots of times the conversations are loud! there are tables in the street which are great on a warm day or evening. it closes around 20.30 and is closed on Saturdays prices are very reasonable for home cooked food located in the old town near the main church it is on the tourist route"

"Nos sentamos en este lugar casi de casualidad, atraídos por el buen ambiente que se respiraba. Y sin querer, hemos descubierto unas de las mejores patatas fritas que hemos comido en la vida. "It’s a very nice little restaurant. It was opened on January, 1st! Excellent taste of tapas we eate robo del toro, pork cheeks and a few servings of something else, the same delicious. The bill of 38 euros for lunch with drinks (wine, gin&tonic, cappuccino, orange fresh) for 4 adults!!!! We are pleased to remember the taste of the dishes and the friendly atmosphere. Recommended. And even a little jealous of those who will be there as a client."
