Su carta es fija y fiable, desde la clásica merluza con mayonesa trufada a los callos. Cocina de casa, honda. "Estuvimos por Semana santa en Gijón y nos desplazamos a Avilés, nos habían recomendado un sitio por el casco antiguo La posada , pero preguntamos a una chica por la calle y nos dijo que el mejor sitio para comer era este Casa Lin , y la verdad es que no se equivocó. Los platos son autenticos, tamaño XXl y no exagero. Pedimos unas fabes con almejas y eran para 3 raciones...!como estaban las fabes...!, pedimos unos calamares en su tinta y lo mismo tamaño XXL y de sabor impresionantes. De trato más que agradable, es de esos lugares que recomiendas a todo el mundo, porque has comido tan bien, que te deja un bunísimo sabor de boca. El suelo tiene serrín para escarciar una buena sidra...sino quieres comer también tienen una barra para tomarte un buen pincho. Está pegado a las vias del tren, detrás de la pz.Carballo."

"Grata sorpresa la que me he llevado en este lugar. Es pequeño, situado dentro de un pasaje que no llama apenas la atención, pero merece la pena prestársela. La comida es casera a la par que deliciosa. La atención muy cercana y agradable. Pedimos unos rotos y unas patatas que estaban maravillosos. El precio es bastante razonable por no decir barato. Como entrante para compartir elegimos mozzarella gratinada con jamón, muy sabrosa. Y como platos principales, pasta con salsa carbonara (muy rica) y cantábrico (con tomate, almejas, gambas y mejillones). La cantidad de las raciones es adecuada y, los postres, en la línea de calidad del restaurante. En cuanto a la atención, el camarero fue muy amable y profesional, atento en todo momento por si necesitábamos cualquier otra cosa. Estamos deseando volver para probar las pizzas."
