"Toda la comida estaba espectacular y el camarero fue muy amable y simpático con nosotras. Pedimos para comer unas tostas de provolone con berenjena, canelones de bonito, tortellini de ricota y espinacas con salsa Aurora y una pizza Mascareta de jamón y queso y de postre el milhojas de fresas con nata y un tiramisú. "Pretentious beyond measure. The only good thing is the presentation of the dishes, but the meat was tough, the garnishes cold (you could tell they had reheated it) and it also made our stomachs feel terrible. Worst of all is having paid an expensive restaurant price for a lousy quality of food, just for being the restaurant of Zen Balagares. I do not recommend it at all."

"Excellent food and atmosphere in the purest style of Asturian cider houses. Excellent atmosphere with a decoration with pegollos de hórreo, very consistent. Very well connected by public transport, which means that you do not use your own car to get there, something that I consider a great advantage. The food is excellent, first class, especially the fish and shellfish from the Cantabrian Sea. Fried pixín (Monkfish), grilled baby squid, peppers stuffed with spider crab, clams a la marinera, etc. For dessert we had some frisuelinos stuffed with rice pudding that were amazing.
