"We spent our short holiday in the Easter week in the streets and on the hills of Bambärch, how probably the correct copy of the local Idiom should be. At night we prayed our heads at Villa Geyerswörth to rest and despite the growing experience of orcagna and man at the same time of the previous year we visited La Villa on the first evening. We must confirm some criticisms, but we had a nice evening overall and recommend the restaurant. It's on parole. The recommendation is certainly very close to our hostess Sandra Tober, who accompanied us with untiring friendliness through the evening. From the welcome, when we were immediately noticed, although we sneak in through the side entrance from the hotel, until today, when we arrived at the home and were passed with a cheerful wink from the terrace, we felt ourselves as welcome guests. We did not agree with the table initially offered. From our choice, Ms. Tober advised, as the service for an event will run there. When we chose our aperetif, I was offered a sample swallow of champagne, as the one shown on the map was not delivered and the replacement was significantly more fruity. Then I chose a white port that I expected dry and chilled. But came warm and sweet. Why it is offered as an aperitif, I didn't get it. But after all, he tasted and 3.9€ is a bargain. Madame found the champagne strawberry cocktail somewhat too sweet 4,1€ . Water Apo for 4,5€ was gifted It's just going. Another wine was offered to the main course. Of course, Ms. Tober at the right time asked for our satisfaction. With a complaint, she was very professional and later thanked for the criticism. To Sorbet Dessert came the offer to fill up with champagne or chocolate liqueur without additional calculation. The bill went to the room number, tip in cash. The ambience, already well described by orcagna, I would like to call modern-elegant. The light wooden parquet and the walls painted in gold tones contrasted with the dark leather of the bench and the high-rests without armrests. Alternatively, there were lower chairs with fine fabric cover in bright and dark strips. The direct, otherwise indirect light over the tracks spread a relaxed atmosphere, as well as the very quiet pop music. The table intervals were perfect. On the slightly slippery, wide table runner was clearly covered including white fabric napkins, a combination of pepper mill and salt shaker and a very apart orange flower branch. The restaurant is accessible to disabled guests, at least via the hotel. There are nearby and also accessible without steps, the toilets. With a fresh scent and like the rest of the rooms very clean, only the paper waste quoll just something about what might have been on the larger round in the hotel. All in the 4-5 points range. Unfortunately, the kitchen couldn't stop. In advance, three kinds of baguettes could be enjoyed, among others, with poppy with a fruity but not picnic tomato pest. Green olives, coarse sea salt and unsalted butter. Otherwise no greeting from the kitchen. Cold appetizer only for the eaten part of the family: roasted rabbit fillet on field salad with bacon and pine nuts from the menu for 8.5€. For my wife, a second cute was brought. Unrighteous world... Even when serving, I spontaneously escaped a short oje! . The fillet discs looked very fried. Unfortunately, my fear was confirmed. Not cracking, but very firm. Not inedible, at the thick end also went, but good teeth were of advantage. Our hostess inquired about the satisfaction and disappeared after my criticism towards the kitchen to question? . Meanwhile I fought further with the meat and also tried the green base. I expected a vogersalat with crawling bacon cubes. Unfortunately no. The buffalo were drowned in a very oily Vinaigrette, which forced me very deeply over the plate. Still, I kept running oil over my chin. No beautiful sight. But my beautiful escaped. The bacon strips appeared marinated, at least not recognizably roasted or even roasted and therefore also greasy. And finally, pine nuts lose enormous appeal if they are not roasted. Cherry tomato quarters are more liquid than liquid, at best. The color alone contributed to the successful presentation. Just when I had eaten the last piece of meat, Ms. Tober appeared and spoke to him, he admitted that he fried him too long. Suck! I was just exposing pictures of unsightly questions in the back room of the kitchen... And I was happy to serve the court again. We had enough conversation, so time didn't get too long. The result was better by lengths, the Gargrad hit perfectly. Now the quality came to fruition, the meat tender, but with texture, roasting note and light wild flavor. Even my wife demanded a charming piece of work. The salad was less oily, could be eaten in Central European manner. Only with bacon and kernels, it remained with the old one. There was a blackberry for that. Why not, more often something new. For the second plate about 4 stars, the first one would have received at most 2. At the intercourse, Madame entered, cabbage soup with red-bete chips 6€, for me potato cream soup with smoker trout dito. A Mentekel... The pieces of fish were in sufficient quantity and could tastefully convince if they had been freed from soup. I believe it had been salted twice, I couldn't eat it. No potato or even cream taste noticeable, only salt. But the tastes are different, my wife was ready for exchange and expressed several times that it tastes her. Strange world... So I enjoyed the mildly seasoned, persuasive vegetable soup, in which the bete slices baked in the oven contributed both their earthly sweetness and their crunch. For soups 4 and 1.5 stars. Just as the break we prayed for seemed too long, the main course was served. This is also not without criticism. The medium-sized veal velvet parsley included... quite cautiously browned, but the kitchen had to avoid a second hare dessaster. What she did. Almost through, the meat was juicy and tasted like veal. The sauce, on the other hand, would have asked Montur, that was quite watery. And tastefully there was lack of frying or onion or something about body, but also spice. Light and shadows. The plentiful cherry tomatoes here very successful, i.e. beautifully melted with balanced sweet-acid game. But the potato gratin is a jammer. The tanned upper layer has been kept too hot for ever? The result is a hardened tough lid, including a too soft, almost taste-neutral mass. It stayed on the plate. Trost offered the bottle Blanc de Noir 2013 from the Pflüger winery from the Palatinate. White or more rosé from Pinot Noir and Schwarzriesling. Very fruity, but spicy enough, a fabulous companion who made me reject the offered red to the calf. In addition, the rapidly decreasing bottle content ensured a rapidly increasing mood. Also the price of 22€ did not offer any occasion for tribulation. My counterpart was completely satisfied with her Saltimbocca from the Seeteufel. A probable portion for the spouse apparently did not stand for disposition. Bad world. A dessert was no longer in it. But homemade sorbet disappears without trace. To my lemon, the fruity champagne, which was still aperitif, fits very well. Madame praised cherry cinnamon very much. In addition, the coffee liqueur, who was probably inhaled a whisper later. For each cam €1.6, the accompaniment on the house. Overall a very good PLV. Pleasant feeling was wide. After we were kindly adopted and had made the murderous homeway of two stairs, the Boudoir received us. Be so short! With the required distance, one could suspect that the boss was not in the house. Or that a kitchen was too tight again to manage a company and a half-filled restaurant. Or that the mix of one-time hotel guests and regularly incoming service clubs does not require 100% performance. If I visit the Perle Oberfrankens again and do not return to a brewery inn, I would first look for an adequate alternative. If it weren't, I would give the La Villa another chance, despite the similar experience of orcagna. If the kitchen performance was restored, I would have to redeem the reservation and withdraw recommendation despite the good service."

"Came here on a Saturday night after trying a whole bunch of other places, and found this place had seating. It turned out that it was one of the breweries that we wanted to visit, so that turned out well. The underground dining room has the acoustics that make too many people in the room stop any conversation due to the loud noise. However, we managed to have one until two large groups came in and started drinking and chatting. The server was prompt and courteous, the food came quickly, and hot. The Radler was a neither beer or lemonade taste, and somewhat disappointing. The Pilsner was bitter in my opinion, but good in the opinion of the two that ordered them. One friend ordered the BierHaxe, and enjoyed the meat and sauerkraut. The Schweinbraten, with a green cabbage (Wirsing), savoy cabbage, was very good, the meat was very good, aa well as the Klos, a sort of mashed potato ball. The Wiener schnitzel was ok, with two pieces, the German potato salad was very good, with enough vinegar and spices, tasted that my mother-in-law made. I had the baked potato, Ofenkartoffel, with spiced quark, a sort of sour cream consistency and light yogurt taste. Not much to that particular dish, but I wasn't that hungry. The potato was large and hot, and cooked just right. We didn't remember that this was the place to try the dark beer, their Schwaerzla. Next time, we will come for the beer, as I didn't really find the menu being very varied."

"absolutely fantastic eating, although the chairs were very uncomfortable, hard to laugh. we arrived with a 19-clock reservation, make sure they have one, and there was a native with local men at our table. they enjoyed her being together and had no hurry to go. they waved us to themselves and since some had already left their group, 3 chairs were empty, so we sat down and started chatting with them. they were a group of friends who had found themselves together in the course of the years from school, work and community. we three ordered our drinks and our dinner and talked nicely with the two who stayed. they ordered another round and sat down to us. germany is one of the places where one shares a table with completely strange people, but in addition to a polite “good appetite” there are usually no talks. Here we talked with two completely strange ones about bamberg, beer, beer gardens, keesmann, aggression, label, tourist, local and living. at the end of our delicious food we finally organized a city tour with one of them who offered us to show us the opposite from local perspective. I ordered the circus, elchgulasch, with red cabbage and kartoffel balls. the gulasch had berry and was sweet, but not too sweet. as much as I thought the red cabbage was good, it was a huge, heavy meal, so I couldn't eat much of the cauliflower or the potato balls. I loved the gulasch and the cauliflower was also warm and tasty. I had a 0.25 liter glass of her dark beer, starla, and that had the perfect size. great taste, not too heavy. my spouse had his pork chop, which was huge and fried and panted what he liked, but it looked like a heart attack. our friend had the same as me and liked it. at the end our meals were great, the waitress maria was very friendly and the two men were pleasant company. my spouse and I even got a local tour through the surrounding area bamberg with two small local breweries where he knew the people and the beer was good."
