"Came here with a friend from Cologne after looking at another place with vegetarian options. We walked around and just happened to come across it. There were a few tables outside, but all were full. However, there were lots of tables inside, and while we would have preferred an outside table with the great warm evening, it turned out fine. The summer rolls and dumplings are delicious, the mango salad is light and tasty, the passion fruit juice smells and tastes great. My spouse had the shrimp with a crunchy sweet potato crisps and a side salad, all of which he liked. They have really reasonable prices, lots of good sized appetizers, curries, soups, salads, and main dishes."

Well, what do you say? small portions otherwise we have eaten as an appetizer dim sum and tapas rolls. tastefully everything very good, however, don't last more than a child's portion for 5,90€. main dish withcurry and lemongrass. also here a lot of money for little food.

I had lunch in this restaurant during the visit of the town. The staff is very kind and helpful. The menu is very varied. The portions are abundant and the quality of food is good. very good Vietnamese sushi. Pleasant view of the cottage by taking a seat outside. Recommended!

After we enjoyed the Franconian cuisine before, we stayed at our bamberg after a change. by coincidence we have encountered these in the pedestrian zone and thus well located restaurant. We (6 tourist) were all very satisfied; tastefully really something special. the bark with roasted bark and fresh coriander and nuts was something I haven't eaten yet, although I often go - also Asian - to eat.Besides the friendly service I would like to emphasize that we have still got something to eat from 14.00 h - 15.00 h without any problems.

we were at eight there and had a big table at the house wall. friendly service. good food. Unfortunately, the appetizers did not come at the same time - some were almost finished with the main dish until others got their main dish. otherwise the food was all very fresh. the salate with fried salmon and algae was a little small. in the alga were just a few little laughs scratching. I would have liked to have a salmon spear, for example the portion zb at duck baked was very large and very tasty. if you are in bamberg, you can spend nice hours there.

"We were a group of English guys staying in Bamberg for a weekend of beer, sightseeing more beer. Bamberg is, of course, the centre of the universe for fans of beer brewing culture. One of our group found Cafe Abseits on the internet.. it was possibly the best find of the weekend. I contacted the proprietor prior to our arrival to warn him of a group of men in need of a hearty breakfast some local where to go info. When we arrived, tables were reserved for us we were warmly greeted by the owner who proceeded to tell us about the wonderful beer brewing heritage of Bamberg. We were served up a fantastic breakfast the emphasis was on hearty portions rather than gourmet presentation, but we were all, without exception, greatly impressed by the quality size of the meal. In addition to the great breakfast, Cafe Abseits has an impressive beer list, focusing mainly on local produce. We were treated to much inside knowledge from the proprietor during our ordering of beer. A man with an obvious passion for his product ! To cap it off, we were offered a sample beer, on the house, of a special beer brewed by a local independant brewer using hops grown by a local farmer. The owner didn't need to spend so much time with this level of personal attention, but he did we were all blown away by our visit there. It's tucked away a bit, on the wrong side of the train station for most tourists making their way into town. But that only added to it's charm. Highly recommended to anyone with an interest in beer who is visiting this amazing town for the weekend. I could not fault this place will remain indebted to the owner for such a warm welcome to Bamberg."
