"We were staying nearby this restaurant so passed it several times and although it doesn't look like much from the outside, the decor and atmosphere inside is ideal. The building is rustic but not in a shabby way. There is also a great outdoor area which was unfortunately full when we went. There is plenty of parking on site. The selection of meats available and especially the steaks was bordering on overwhelming. I had a T bone and my wife had lamb (unusual in Italy it seems). The steak was delicious cooked rare and came with some baked potatoes, which was unexpected. The side portions were huge and very nice as was the lamb (3 thick chops), which for €12 was exceptionally good value. The wine list was expansive and costs ranged widely. We picked one of the cheaper bottles €18 cabernet sauvignon which was delicious and would probably cost £35 in an equivalent British restaurant. The staff were very good and although their English was limited, they all did their best to explain things and answer our questions. Cost of lamb, T bone, 2 sides, 2 bottles of water and a bottle of wine was €78. Well worth it."
