"I came to Sprinkles 29th Sept at 7.30pm and was so disappointed with the experience. A large kids birthday party a few metres away made so much noise it was unbearable. Sounded like a zoo I couldn’t wait to eat my food and leave. They then started running around and climbing on the seats next to us, we then had a waffle thrown on our seat. This isn’t acceptable and kids parties shouldn’t ruin other people’s experiences. A party room would be a good idea. Have emailed twice and still no response!"

"My husband place our order.... waited and waited.. people after him came and went. He asked at counter only to be told his order hadn't gone through the system so had to wait again. Girl rushed around getting order together but then no chips ready so a further wait. Not our usual kfc... small chicken portions and no wipes, serviettes or salt put in bag. Awful and KFC Basildon we will not be visiting again..."

"this was our first time at Reid’s. eating was really nice, steak was slightly underboiled (for medium rare, but less rare). my cocktail came after our starters arrived. I had to ask twice for the cocktail. the service was really poor, had to ask twice for the drink. when our head arrived, they forgot the garlic bread, so we had to ask and also had to ask for steak knives. the waiter didn't seem really interested. there were 3 large groups, however, so that we gave them the advantage of the doubt. not sure we're coming back."

Store manager TARIQ of Basildon papa John’s store refused to send me another pizza after I ordered VEGAN cheese on my pizza because of my allergy and they’ve sent me regular cheese now I’m sitting here with a pizza I can’t eat and no money for it. He also hung up the phone and was very rude and disgusting to me."

"This is a spacious pub located right next to the market. It tends to get quite busy in the evenings, especially on Fridays. The pub is conveniently close to the bus station and directly across from Basildon railway station, making it easy to avoid drinking and driving. The lighting inside is either dim or dark, depending on your perspective. They only have Pride Bombardier on tap. The outdoor seating area is near the road, but it isn't a heavily trafficked street for the most part. Children are not allowed inside the bar, but I'm unsure if they can sit outside, so it's best to check beforehand if you're considering bringing kids. There’s a raised seating area on the right and a smaller one on the left. The pub is accessible for wheelchair users. They offer several meal deals, including 'Grill a Drink' for £5.99 and 'Sunday Roast' for £4.99, and there's one featuring steak, although I didn’t note the details. Spirits are served in 25ml shots, but you can opt for a double."

"We arrived at 2:30 PM and placed our order within ten minutes. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. By 3 PM, I inquired about the long wait for our food, but the waitress couldn't explain the delay. I had already prepaid to ensure we wouldn't be late for a movie starting at 3:20. By that time, my two children and I were becoming frustrated. Once again, the waitress was unsure why our food was taking so long. At 3:25, I requested a refund, opting to grab a snack at the cinema instead. The manager approached us and promised that our food was on its way. Just a minute later, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the tacos were soggy, and the chicken in my salad was dry. We ended up feeling rushed to eat. I would advise avoiding this restaurant unless you're okay with waiting nearly an hour for subpar food."

"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

"I made a reservation for four people on November 6th. When we arrived, there was a notice at the door indicating that there was no heating, and it had been out for a month. Why were we not informed about this when we made the reservation? The first table we were offered was crammed into a corner, which we declined. After that, we were offered another table, which we also refused, so I went to find a table on my own. The entire restaurant was freezing, to the point that we couldn’t take our coats off. The dishes we were served were cold, and when our meals finally arrived, they were on cold plates. The jacket potatoes were hard on the inside. It was a complete disaster. We even noticed other patrons packing their meals into doggy bags to take home because it was too cold to stay and enjoy dessert."

"Upon arrival, we found our table to be dirty and had to clean it ourselves. The person in charge of the wimpy bar was seen shouting at a staff member, causing them to walk out. After waiting about 10 minutes, we placed our order with the usual pleasant waitress. Unfortunately, we waited for 40 minutes and had to reorder when the shouting man came over to take our order. Our order was incorrect, but we didn't feel like waiting another 40 minutes to get it fixed. When we brought up the mistake to the shouting man, he was rude and insisted we pay for the incorrect order. Overall, the elderly Italian man running the restaurant was very unpleasant and we will not be returning due to his behavior."
