"We brought 7 people in, fed everyone exceedingly well, and got away with a very fair bill having enjoyed a culinary treat. We were with friends who are German speakers, and we left the ordering to them. We seemed to have a bit harder time communicating what we wanted to the server than I felt justified. There were 14 menu items, 7 of us, and a recommendation of 2-3 plates per person -- being tapas. The server argued gently with us, saying that the portions were too small to feed 7, and she even went in to bring out a bowl to show us size. We knew that there was enough difference in taste to know that none of us would eat from all the bowls. The process started to repeat itself at dessert. In the end our instinct on how much we would eat was right, so I am glad we insisted in our desires. The food was excellent. I would consider it Spain-inspired more than Spanish. The flavours were strong, bold, enticing but not what I was accustomed to in Spain. For example, I can be sure they used Itslian olive oil, not Spanish; creme brulee was offered instead of the more customary flan. The list goes on, touching almost every dish. No matter! The basic ingredients and ideas resonated Spain and the foid really was superb!Aside from the slightly off-putting service, it was virtually a "5" and is definitely a place I would return to again and again if I lived in this corner of the world."

"We enter the restaurant and we are welcomed accordingly. We got a table near the exit and sat there. Our beverage orders were taken 1 wine 1 beer and a Greek coffee. We were asked if we wanted to eat something and 1 of the...3 people in our group said we wanted some meat to share with our drinks as we just ate and just get a drink. The owner who took the order said he understood and that he will arrange something. He specifically asked, “is a liver key?” The wine and beer came and then the owner started smoking at the bar. In the restaurant. I have now read some reviews, and people have complaints before, but he has not changed his behavior. Half an hour later we are served a very large plate with mixed meat and half the plate is filled with frits. It included 2 small pieces of liver. It didn't feel right and we would have denied the food. When I didn't want me to do something about it, but I should have done it right now. Maybe he read the situation wrong, I understand that this can happen at some point. The ordered coffee had not arrived yet and we cancelled it because it is not great with a Greek dish. Unfortunately, the food was not great. The gyros were too salty/marinated with too many spices. The pig souvlaki was so dry. The liver was burned half. When we asked the bill, it took some time. And while he passed other visitors, he rushed from our table and said it was 100€ and continued. We looked at each other and said he's joking right? So we called him back and said you were serious? He said, "No man, haha. It's 60€." Then I was slightly irritated. One of my friends who invited us there paid, but I went and asked to check the bill because I didn't think a plate and 3 drinks cost 60€! I asked for the bill and he told me. ‘No man’. I asked again and he told me: “We don’t do this, here we are a Greek restaurant”. Then I told him I needed it for my explanation, and he reacted with “You should have told me at the beginning that you wanted an invoice. Your table was over 100€ I helped you make it 50€, it can not be 50 if I bill you”. He even forgot that he took 60€ from us 2 minutes ago! While the dishes on the menu varied from 8.50 - 12.50 to 20. Basically, he ripped us off and didn't make a bill. Sad, if I knew we didn't get the bill, I would have prevented my friend from paying, but it was too late. Apart from the renewed request (the anger I did not want in a restaurant) we left. The owner clearly does not care about illegal activities that lets me ask what else he does next to the obvious things that we can see (smooths inside, no bill). I would never lay a foot in this place again. TL;DR; The owner smoked beside us. We asked for a bit of meat, because we told him "we only ate" with our drinks and got a big dish served. He joked about the bill that asked 100€, and when he asked again, he said 60€. We passed on an invoice, but we didn't get one."

"General My daughter, who likes to eat sushi, had come by with the children at short notice. Since it was a surprise, I didn't have much to offer for a meal. I could make the grandchildren happy; because I accidentally had a few sausages in the fridge and tomato salad and pasta – and they were already “happy”. For all five people, however, our stocks were not enough. Then our daughter suggested sushi and already attacked the cell phone and ordered something about “Lieferando”. My wife doesn't like raw fish at all, but knows that we two like it and therefore joined the grandchildren. Occasionally I let myself in on sushi without having great idea. I've never rolled over. And in Bergisch Gladbach the experiences before Corona were rather not so good in an apparent Japanese restaurant. The delivery service also came relatively quickly. My daughter previously bought this provider and was therefore sure that it would also taste me. However, the delivery times do not always work as well as today. But sushi can't get cold at least. The map(s) I looked at the map on the internet later. The offer was very extensive in my eyes and I could hardly have decided without help or I could have got a lot of names or Pictures to compare. All meals can be ordered by King or by Deliveryando and directly break. The tasted food Nigiri with salmon macchi with tuna, salmon and aal algae salad Inside out Sushi Gyoza with vegetable filling Supplements: soy sauce, washabi paste, inlaid ginger and various creams or creams Dips I tried everything. Everything was fine for me. Aal's not my thing. I prefer salmon with raw fish. Lachs has a strong taste and I prefer to buy it at the fish dealer of my trust and sharpen it on the skin or cook it gently in warm oil. Algae salad is very happy if it does not seem too salty. That wasn't the case. My wife, on the other hand, finds algae and sea-saving angels too salty. The vegetable bags were neatly crispy outside and inside soft and juicy. That's what my wife would eat because it wasn't so soft. When I arrive at this restaurant – to Corona – once, I would be thoroughly advised and would like to try some dishes. Everything doesn't tell me. I think Cevice is the best solution to eat raw fish. Conclusion 3 – if it results. I'm curious. The dishes were quite tidy and good for me as a whole. But I am a real Japan fan (not yet. In Bergisch Gladbach it seems to me to be the best place. – But I prefer to go to the “mixed” Asian direction. My favorite restaurant is the taku in Cologne. And my wife also likes this (I don't believe it. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it turns out again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely again – after “Kuechenreise” My pleasures are also at [here link] Total – Service – Cleanliness – Food P L V 4 4 4 4 4 4"

"as we live in mountain glabach and we are just set up, it must be more often than otherwise a bring service (ok time lacked . from the long list of offers we chose the first, the Italian pizza, and the name pizzaboy led us to believe in a special list and that was too superficial. it is worth looking at the providers more closely. some have a very wide range and offer a large map. that's not so good for a show. because it should go fast, a manageable little list makes more sense. but we had starved after the renovation of the apartment and wanted to help quickly. we have learned something from it: a service that offers burger, asian, vegetarian and otherwise anything, maybe anything but not necessarily right. the order worked smoothly. the internet sites were well shared and we were looking for three different covers. the delivery time was well maintained. the pizza man was very friendly at the handover and payment. eating was also really warm or still hot. the tasteful speer torro: Gyros-Art, brain cheese, fresh tomaten, mild peperoni (normal – 30 cm diameter – 11,90 € quattro formaggi – was not in the card but was happy to run (normal 11,90 € my pizza: put her favorite spizza herself together. tomatensauce, gouda and thunfish, paprika stripes (normal – 10,10 € the teig was thin and baked, but some flowering in mouth. the coating was unfortunately little tasteful and only little juicy, rather in the dry direction. the starving with every bite leaving quickly. but it has not been fun to eat a pizza completely. we also tried all three products together. the cheese pizza was still the best in our eyes. among other things it was quite blue cheese to taste. if it was gorgonzola, but I doubt something. 2 – hardly again. the taste has not convinced us all three. the processes have worked well. but not suitable for us. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it returns, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again – after the ordering date “Kuechenreise”: 03.03.2018 – three people"

"I've never experienced this before and accordingly bad is my impression now of this restaurant, in which I was a few paintings about 20 years ago and I wanted to try again. On the menu there are no children's dishes. our sohn wanted pommes, so we asked the above and he meant that this was just going to order a portion. so far in order. hardly the upper one was gone, our son thought to want to eat carving with pommes. So I am going to kick where the above was about to enter our order into the cash register. I asked if instead of the pommes I could also get a small carving with pommes. he said they had carving. what I once again stressed, but a small one with pommes instead of the previously ordered pommes. When that came, we were amazed. two huge carvings with pommes on the teller for my son and then another extra plate pommes. the above said he had already entered the pommes, but that would go into order. the bill was the hammer. not only was the individual pommes additionally calculated, the small carved was the most expensive dish on the bill. he would have had the pommes already entered and could not have taken it out of the cash register (yes, but then enter a new court with pommes) and he would have said a carving. He can't get away from him, he can wrap us up the rest of us (scarfs and a giant later mushy pommes) Here we will never go again. the food was quite neat."

"We needed a long time to find the time to visit this wonderful restaurant for the first time, and it was worth it. The reception was professional until the question of an aperitif passed a little time to emphasize. The tables are quite sober according to the current style, but attractive only covered with a principle. So it is not accepted from the beginning how many courses you want to take, which indirectly loosen the atmosphere. A good start. The ambience in the very large restaurant room is skillfully trendy, it is lacking as it can quickly become loud, a little cosiness. Very successful is flower decoration. The regularly changing map is manageable and appealing, the dishes call themselves (at least at the moment) on old food names that are successfully modernized. So a lobster “Thermidor” was delicious, but with the original only half carcass had in common. A Bouillabaisse with a high Sudan part was excellent, the Rouille unfortunately used it little piff and also based on the original recipe (either after age or after the new Lesart). Very delicious a combination of mussels and shrimps on Papaya Avocado tea, the lemongrass sauce was easy to fall behind. The bowls were cooked exactly and from the texture like a jelly. Perfect. A recommendation of the open white wine proved to be true. Until we can stay here overnight in the near future, we must unfortunately enjoy alcoholic beverages. Deviating from the map, we have ordered a dessert variation in which the pâtissier himself has surpassed. Many sweet sins created the grandiose conclusion of a really good menu. Small drops of wormwood: for me personally no problem, but perhaps for others it is likely to use a little more salt. Conclusion: After these delights we will be happy to come back to enjoy further delusions. For an experienced fooder, the selection of the food names of the dishes, which nowadays are less likely to be found, can lead to a revival of expectations."
