"We visited Birkenhead wimpy for breakfast during a Saturday morning shopping trip. The food was all very nice and reasonably priced but a special mention has to go to the atmosphere thanks to the staff. The young lady waiting on was exceptionally polite and helpful, as was the chap behind the counter. The background music was pleasant, the restaurant itself was very clean and tidy and the customers coming and going were very friendly, even stopping to say good morning to us. I assume they were regulars thanks to the welcoming atmosphere offered here. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area."

"Manager always looks at his watch if you walk in at 8.30pm and says you 'll need to be quick as we close at 9.30pm. Rushes you continously and has obviously never had hospitality training. Heard him one time muttering 'come on lads ' to himself when approaching half 9. Went there at 8.40pm once and he said they were closed. If you are still there around 9.30pm he is literally sweeping the floor under your feet. We initially thought that it was quite amusing in a Fawlty Towers kind of way but it soon wore off after one too many glances at the watch. Used to be really good and on first name terms with the staff there. Not any more! Shame really because the food is decent and good value for money."

"I made a telephone order at 11.30am and waited an hour and 15 minutes. I called to chase where the food was and was told it's being cooked now. It ended up being cancelled due to our long wait and rude service. He said that he would never take orders from us again. Good job. I wont be ordering again. I'd rather buy a hen and wait for its eggs to hatch it would be quicker!"

"pros: nice delivery women and polite on phone, nice breakfast binlid cons: delivery took about 95 mins, supposed to be french fries when its actually cheap oven chips which tasted boiled which got binned, burger was black on one side and tasted really odd worst burger iv had and im not that fussy which also got binned."

"We have been loyal customers to Rizo for a while now and never had a problem. However a few nights ago we ordered and over an hour later had not received our food. We called up and they were unapologetic but sent the food 40...minutes later. When it arrived, one of the meals arrive without chips. Again we called and they were even more disinterested and said to send the chips out would be another hour. We were obviously displeased with the service even more so that we regularly order and would expect better treatment for loyal customers. To make the situation worse we reviewed the service on their website and got back the most flippant reply. To quote directly, “I have to say it was only your chips missing pal not the end of the world.” I’m actually astounded at the contempt shown to loyal customers. We’re so disappointed."

"I dont know about the fake 5 star reviews on here. But as you can see by the rest it 's a horrendous mistake. Yyyyyyep you guessed it, 3 hour wait. Food was like cold casting resin that looked better in the bin. Wasn 't surprised at all to find the other reviews. Multiple people phoned to enquire and were given multiple different excuses including that a driver had been in a car accident. I reckon I 've got more chance of pulling my mixed chicken out my backend than I 've got of a refund tbh... The local brothels will be seeing an awful lot more dodgey kebabs than usual. I 'd give you the whole never again barks but I hate thievery more than anything in the world so I 'll just leave it at Fuk off."

I ordered on just eat they had collection turned off so I paid cash... In the box where it says “Additional message for the restaurant “ I asked for cheese on garlic fries (They told me that box wasn’t for them it was for the drivers They didn’t do this. When I called to ask why... she told me they don’t do them and I haven’t paid for extra cheese BUT I paid the delivery? Told me they can’t add cheese for a cost it was impossible. The food looked thrown together. Woman on the phone was screaming at my partner!! Threats and abuse. Overall should be shut down!"

"We went out for a meal and the service was exceptional. We decided to get the banquet and my starter was huge with an impressive amount of meat, and the quality was excellent. I loved the tamarind sauce and they even gave me an extra portion. The staff were friendly and the chef even came out to greet us. We are already planning to come back next week. "we went to lunch with our grandson. the staff was very friendly and helpful. When my grandson had a gluten intolerance, he was very satisfied that they had chips and two objects with the oncatter. Oh, what a hard decision he had, in the end we both decided to take a chicken in a truce. the meal was served, warm and plentiful on the plate. for dessert he chose chocolate brownie with ice cream and his comment was the best I had. the personal is very knowledgeable about gluten or should I say gluten-free, a great thank you to the cook for the meal we had, especially thanks to the person who made the brownie and we will certainly be back as we still have the fish and chips to rehearse. many thanks for a nice lunch experience."

"Great place just ordered 2 oreo milkshakes, 1 toffee crisp and Mars bar milkshake and 2 milkybar milkshakes, fantastic service polite girl behind the counter, every time I order ive never had a dud milkshakes yet, there consistent, there hygiene is top spec, the decor is appropriate with what looks to be hand painted a lovely touch and with a little elf on the shelf, top marks I can reccomend with confidence these are the place to get your milkshakes. "On a bad day the music in here will be louder than a concert, you can't hear yourself think. I don't know if someone complained but last time I went there was no music. That may well be down to that or simply that it was DJ cashier's day off. The food is the same as any KFC in uk, it's gone downhill and this restaurant can't be blamed for that, they literally just heat the food up. KFC chicken does not taste the same like it did 20 years ago. The pieces are smaller and the price is higher, always a NO NO. The chips are quickly becoming legendary by how poor they are, why change from the McDonald's type ones, there was no problem? One has to wonder if this is to save money somehow. Anyway this shop has staff in it anyone with an IQ bigger than 50 would want to avoid, and they are cooking your food, oh God!"

"The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff is friendly. My friend, who is 53 and accompanied by a pet, also enjoyed the experience. He mentioned that it was the best soup he had ever tasted, even though I was surprised as I didn't think they sold soup at Subway. On a positive note, he also mentioned that the restroom was very clean. Personally, my favorite sandwich is the Subway Melt."

"A dessert lover's paradise, and it’s not just for those who can eat gluten! Although the full menu isn't available gluten-free, they do offer delicious gluten-free waffles and pancakes, along with other delightful treats like macarons, chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate shots, and ice cream or gelato. I indulged in American waffles, a macaron, a white chocolate shot, and a mocktail. Everything was scrumptious, but I definitely needed to lie down afterward to recover from all the sugar! :D"

"What a charming, vintage establishment. There is a lot to discover spread out over two floors. The building also houses a print museum. The two gentlemen at the front desk were welcoming and accommodating. I purchased a few items and received a nice discount. The goods were carefully wrapped and brought out to my car. I would definitely return to Definitiw. There were intriguing features and diverse areas to explore."

"There are not as many Frankie & Benny's locations around these days, at least not near me, so when we visited Cheshire Oaks yesterday, I decided to stop by. They offer a good variety of vegan options, including starters like Garlic pizza bread with or without Vegan Mozzarella, or Vegan BBQ wings. For mains, they have options such as Arrabbiata Pasta, Mac and cheese, a Mediterranean grain salad, a Burger, a Hotdog, and a vegan Pepperoni or Margarita Pizza. I ordered the Smashed Biffs wings stacker burger, as it came with the wings that I wanted to try. I opted for the Hot Lava fries as a side, which were tasty. The burger was delicious, but the wings got a bit lost amongst the other flavors. I also tried the Speculoos Hot Cookie Dough for dessert, which was very enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience at Frankie & Benny's and would recommend trying their vegan options!"

"I was so excited to find this vegan restaurant just around the corner from me! I 'm recently vegan and also have severe lactose gluten intolerances so finding safe food for me can be a challenge. Additionally, I don 't really like to eat processed pretend meat. But Leila was extremely helpful and the blonde chef (didn 't catch her name) told me that they are developing a gluten free mac cheese, can 't wait! Instead I have a small animal friendly fries and it 's AWESOME! Chillin ' out surrounded by cool graffiti and listening to the retro alternative music (yeah, I 'm a child of the 80s) is a super way to treat myself on a Saturday. Had a chat with Carl, co owner, lovely guy, and just an overall brilliant vibe in there. You can take out, but I prefer to eat in and relax its awesome! #Veganuary UPDATE May 2022 so after enjoying the animal free fries for the past 4 months, Carl and Angela very kindly created some new GLUTEN FREE dishes to the menu and gave me some complimentary portions to try out....!!!!Gluten free mac and cheese and a chicken kebab with garlic sauce OH MY GOODNESS I INHALED THEM BOTH!!! I 've attached the new photos and I 'm not kidding you guys, you HAVE to try this out! It 's just SO amazing knowing that this food won 't make me sick! They are also going to put gluten free desserts on the menu I mean C 'MON!! I can find no faults here nothing but great food, people, art, and music! You won 't regret eating here! "We went for the brunch menu which we have had before and me and my partner brought friends who where over from Ireland. I dont why it had changed from the way is used to be set up but it was terrible, the food to help your self too wasnt even ready and out when we turned up so we had to wait before we could get any soup and bread, then range of starters was tiny and terrible but just in bigger bowls than it used to be. It was about 15 minute wait for the bread rolls, and then took the staff over 20 after we had finished the soup before relaising we had and asled if we wanted the roast which took over 15 minutes to come out and even when it did the veg was burnt and discoloured, things where missing off 3 of the 4 plates and one of my friends didnt eat any of it as it was that bad. A couple behind us didnt eat much of theres and a table of 20 there for a birthday also complained about thr tiny selection of starter food but when they did the chief brought a larger selection out which annoyed us further as we didnt get a the offer of a bigger selection. The staff didnt have a brain cell between then, tables where left dirty for over hald a hour and they still where sorted properly when we left. We had to clear our own plated into the bar so we had some room and there was plenty off staff but the women just followed each other round like lost sheep. The only one with a braincell was the guy who was the manger but even then he couldnt do it all on his own or manage the staff well. We where told the way that is set up is going to change again and it wont even be an all you can eat section and just set course meals. We will not be back again and will be telling people not to go either"
