"I have probably written several times about the gastronomic agglomeration at Schönaicher First on Böblinger Gemarkung. Several locals (with ever-changing operators) line up here at the city border Böblingens near the foothills, beautifully located, not far from scattered meadows, beech forests, agricultural areas. As a destination very popular, so that there are always enough hikers, joggers, walkers, cyclists and large families, as well as residents of the nearby Rauher Kapf district and employees of a large IT company. A true Eldorado for gastronomy, one should think. Some locals show the cold shoulder, want to be conquered. So did Da Michelina. Somehow it's always a day of rest, lunch or vacation when I come by. Once we have actually succeeded in penetrating and already sat on the terrace with a set menu. Then a service employee came rushing to inform that rest day was. That was about two years ago. Today a successful visit finally succeeds. Since Michelina has opened three rest days a week and also only on Sundays at lunchtime. At the entrance a sign indicates that due to lack of personnel, longer waiting times can occur. So you have to practice yourself as a guest in humility. First of all, mentioning the beautifully designed outdoor and garden area. There were actually people with the desire for beautification at work. Only dark can I remember the cuddly ambience when this place still shoots here... As the first guest at 12 o'clock we choose a two table on the terrace, which was freshly wiped just before our arrival. Almost in the minute cycle, other guests arrive. No wonder: the stop of the Schönbuchbahn is in front of the door. Soon the menu will be taken. Since Michelina (so hot here the owner and at the same time cook offers everything you want with the Italian (here: with the Italian: colorful appetizers, fresh salads, a huge selection of pizzas (of which some Markus, Bernd and Fredi are hot, hopefully not named after lost husbands, various pasta dishes, fish and meat, as well as some italophile Desirast I don't know I'm hungry I'm tired I don't care I don't want to. We're not tired, but rather hungry. Choose therefore a Pasta frutti di mare (15,90 Euro and a pizza vegetale (12,90 Euro), plus Cola zero (0,4 liter for 3,90 Euro and Pinot Grigio (0,2 liter for 6,20 Euro). After half an hour, the food is applied – and it looks very nice. The spaghetti are made with a slightly crunchy tomato sauce, with shells and shrimps. A true eye-catcher is a stylized red bee. In the side table, one believes to discover something carabinous on the noodles. Definitely a nice idea! Also the pizza comes colorful and tasty therefore, with crusty edge, but very thin dough inside. There are plenty of cheese, onions, peppers, black olives, artichokes, mushrooms. The well-cooled Pinot Grigio is served in a narrow carafe and is quite okay, but not the highlight that we want to make white (we quote from the homepage: “Wein, is not just a drink made from berries. Our exquisite wine selection is mainly from the Italian area. Every single bottle has been chosen meticulously for our card as you have the torment of choice. Your palate will be spoiled in any case.” The coffee does not taste us at the end (2.70 Euros), as it is clearly too bitter and therefore the stomach is agitating. In the toilets, by the way, the same adorning spirit seems to have worked, which has also embellished the remaining ambience. Here you will find a variety of toiletries from a well-known drugstore market. It's no wonder some ladies need to **** for so long. However, we are limited to the essentials, because the Schönbuchbahn runs back in half hours."

Geht in Ordnung. Das Angebot ist ausgewogen quer durch die italienische Küche (Kartenangebot und aktuelles Angebot) und fokussiert. Man findet hier also nicht 100 verschiedene Pizzen o.ä.

"As already mentioned, during the alleged standstill of the last few months, a lot has changed in the gastronomy landscape and even in my hometown I could not see all the innovations, let alone test. There are two new openings in sight, opposite the road. They should not compete in terms of content and conception – but they will be seen. The Nostos is located in the Schäferhundeverein in an unspectacular building, on which one can have a more appropriate character. The guards of the last few years I haven't all in my mind. Above the regular table level with savers and beer, the requirements of the guests were rarely met. Now a completely new idea has established itself at this point, which I spontaneously like very well. First of all, we congratulate the extraordinary name of a Greek restaurant after having been too often in Mykonos, Acropolis or Hellas. The ancient Greeks among us will be able to translate Nostos immediately – the others can google. Second recognition for the simple, reserved facility without Mediterranean kitsch and blue and white interior. The existing rustiness was taken over by the precursors and only sprinkled with pale green tavern chairs and tables. The service boys appear agile, ambitious, although perhaps not necessarily from the topic. A menu in the format DIN-A3 as a table set is spread out before one. There are 98 different dishes. If you are amazed at the variety of variations and the sometimes overpriced prices, you will find an explanation in the evening. This is actually a Greek tapas bar. Here everyone can build an x-popular food sequence, add something at any time and share it with the roommates. To my taste! The offer includes a variety of pastes, salads, cheese, fish and meat specialities, lots of vegetables and dishes. Small joke with local reference (the Daimler works are just a few kilometers away): Starter plates for several people named “Mezedes Bens”. During my first visit, my accompaniment and I choose: oil-laden black olives with oregano (2.50), which are served in a beautiful green porcelain boat. Baby-Calamari from the grill (8.60 Euro), rich in lukewarm and accompanied by creamy chickpeas and lentil salad. Delicious! Also excellent are the grilled Oktopus armies (13.90 Euro) with Fava, a kind of humus of peas. Interestingly, a light orange aroma fades with it. At the end a plate Graviera (4.80 Euro) is ordered – a Cretan cheese, lined with light and black sesame and served with honey. Fine combination! During my second visit, I choose the Keftedakia (5.50 euros), which are not so far away from the Swabian meat cubes, as well as the classic Tsatsiki (3.20 euros), which would have made a little more spice and garlic good after my gusto. As an unexpectedly far-reaching, the choice of my fellow senator arises: The previously unknown Cretan Dakossalat (7,20 Euro) has for us the most presumption of Bruschetta with sheep cheese, but the too crusty Zwieback bread is not for everyone. Overall, an evening in the Nostos can be the same as a cozy Lutheran journey throughout Greece. And if one takes place on one of the rustic benches in the outdoor area, the training of the German shepherd dogs on the lawn next door can also be admired. A huge covered terrace behind the house offers additional space for larger groups and here you can also watch football during my second visit. As for all locals in the room there is also a good accessibility by car (free parking), with a Schönbuchbahn or bus, as hikers, hikers, cyclists. I'll be back soon, because I still miss 80 dishes I haven't crossed on the map yet."

"Since the end of last year, the former guest house in Schwanen (which served traditional audiences with grounded cuisine and the dubious subtitle “Zum singing host” rather than the Asian restaurant “Viet-Thai” – in personal union with the Asian snack Thai-Dat in the lower post street. However, the change has not yet worked: you miss an internet presence and a new signage. Even the hostage documents and cash registers carry the old name “Schwanen”. For this, the “Viet-Thai” with its changing lunch tables is already firmly anchored in the local press. Friends have recommended the place to me shortly after Christmas so that it was already on my wish list for a few weeks. The first optical, interior architectural impression is (yet positive). Lastly, I was in the swan in autumn 2013, then there were still rustic corner benches and lots of wooden furnishings. Now it looks more airy, brighter, friendly, with beige furniture and discreet Asian wall decoration. The old swans still remember the large tiled stove and the toilets. At midday, half a day, the place is rather busy: a small circle of friends, a joviale old manor, an older couple who needs extensive help in ordering. However, communication and workflow still do not work: too much the cultural and linguistic discrepancy between the rather helpless, young, Croatian service, the swaying guests, the Asian boss. The map is rich, offers a wide selection of meat dishes (also with duck! fish and seafood, noodle dishes and vegetarian dishes. Some pages are placed in visual envelopes. Among them are the lunch table offer (shown in a perforated screen cover, with a dozen meat dishes and a vegetarian offer – all between 6.80 Euro and 8.80 Euro. My accompaniment and I finally choose 1 duck meat with bamboo and vegetables in curry milk sauce and 2 roasted tofu with vegetables. For lunch, a soft drink of 0.3 liters is offered cheaply: only 1 Euro! You can drink two glasses. In our well-cooled Cola a slice of orange floats – a great idea instead of the usual lemon. The duck is crispy, not a bit fat, is accompanied by crisp vegetables and swims in a wonderfully spicy and at the same time slightly creamy curry sauce with coconut milk. On the same plate a chop of rice is served – right from the crowd! Just like the vegetarian dish consisting of roasted tofu slices and lots of vegetables (red peppers, bamboo pieces, green beans, zucchini, broccoli . The dark sauce seems to consist mainly of soy sauce, infuses defy umami flavor and makes powerful thirst. Both dishes are solid and cheap, but without sophistication or a special handwriting. We want to get fed up quickly in the middle of the day, is certainly well served here. However, it is clear to me that I will hardly come a second time. Unfortunately, the situation escalates during the closing coffee. We explicitly order a Vietnamese coffee with (most condensed milk). We know the special ritual from another Thai local, find it very charming and enjoy it again and again. The fact that 4.80 euros are required is somewhat high in the otherwise rather low price structure, but you can understand this small coffee speciality like a dessert... Even when ordering, the service power is a little nervous. A few minutes later, an even nervous cartridge appears, which once again verifies our order and alerts “15 minutes”. We nod, knowing that it takes some time for the water to run through the metal filter. Everything is put on, however, it takes quite a long time again – and then the essential condensed milk, which is with the lou, is missing. We complain, the service power is too devastating the shoulders, at some point the coffee has long gone through and already cooled. When the boss finally gets the milk (which he might have to buy or get), we have lost patience and just want to pay. Unfortunately, the cartridge is set up for discussions that we no longer want to follow. After unhappy back and forth, the cold coffee will not be charged to us. Unfortunately, when leaving the restaurant, a scalable taste remains. If we should ever come back, the Viet-Thai has to be guided even more professionally."

"This is already a strange phenomenon: all places – on urban waste roads, on former Brachland, in redesigned village amidst – are cleverly arranged branches of bakery confectionery café conglomerates from the ground. Where there was apparently no need before, the homely furnished localities are now filled with young mothers who spend the mornings while drinking coffee, or with hungry pensioners at the lunch table or with all car charges from craftsmen on assembly tour. The family-owned company Raisch, located in Calw, is currently expanding very strongly and defends its area successfully against the also highly aspiring Platzhirsche Sehne and Wanner. Nevertheless, I am surprised to find a new location in Raisch at the Dagersheimer Hauptstrasse. Where the local post was formerly located, a new building complex residing with bank, pharmacy, doctor, Raisch branch etc. pp. There is plenty of free parking before – especially important at this point. On the way back from a rural appointment, in the late morning I'm in a bleeding tiredness. Time for a coffee break. At Raisch attracts as a current offer: every hot drink as you choose for 1.85 euros. I choose a large coffee that can be consumed in a large cup, a cardboard cup or a Recup cup. At the self-service counter there is a flashy cleanliness and I am kindly served. By 11:30, the “Muntermacher Breakfast Buffet” stands 7.90 euros, without drinks and offers a very tasty looking potpourri of various baked goods, jam, ham and salami, salmon and cheese, agitator, fruit salad and yogurt, greenery. Everything very attractively presented and optimally illuminated. There are two daily changing lunches for 6,90 Euro/ 7,90 Euro. I decided to test today's offer: Cordon Bleu pork, roasted potatoes, and small mixed salad for 7.90 euros. The self-service counter is upgraded at the point half twelve. The portions are lush and impressive. The Cordon Bleu covered with plentiful panade, the roast potatoes well browned and not too fat, on the salad buffet you can use well eight different salads yourself. All in all appealing mainstream for hungry mauls, however no culinary revelation also does not have to, for this price and the possible limited possibilities of the kitchen. A look at the weekly plan shows further pleasing arrangements at a reasonable price: beef gulash, filled pork belly, noodle pan with mushrooms and vegetables, cratch noodles with peasant sausage, salmon sauce in white wine. All with a supplemental salad. Almost you forget the original offer of baked goods, cakes and cakes. Matthias Raisch may even call himself “Brot-Sommelier”. Whatever that is. “What kind of bread would you recommend to this fresh cheese?” The service is of open friendliness, but sometimes still has something unhappy and clumsy. As I learn, the locality was only opened in July – perhaps there is still a period of incorporation... The ambience resembles a huge, chic dining room with hip furniture and first-class lighting. There is probably a lot of money and an ambitious interior designer behind it. The toilets are also very appealing and well maintained. The clientele forms the whole range from random customer to local regular customers and duz friends. As you have met in earlier times at the village fountain or at the church, you sit here at the Cappuccino. Become an interesting sociological study."
