"Booked a table for a mid week evening meal with my husband and daughter whilst on holiday, the place was empty when we arrived. We were immediately told that they were right out of pasta and hotdogs. However, we ordered starters and main but it took around minutes for the starters to arrive. I had cheese bites and my husband and daughter had chicken strips all deep fried with dips but very tasty. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco on menu, the wine was open with a pre cut cork to fit in the end of the bottle, it also looked like an old bottle with the soft metal smoothed down, making us think that it had probably been filled from sparkling wine on tap which is probably illegal from a hygiene and trades' description act perspective. As we were on holiday I did not make a fuss and so we drank it, not great but passable. The burgers and rosemary fries arrived eventually, these were tasty. Whilst waiting I had moved seats to the opposite side of the table as it was freezing cold and drafty with a door to the garden bolted open. I was now facing towards the bar saw lots of take away orders in black freezer bags going out the door and came to the conclusion that this was their main business not the restaurant itself. I also saw a man ask for a table and was turned away even though there appeared to be tables. No deserts or coffee was offered, the bill which included three soft drinks and a chocolate milkshake as well aas the wine was just under I think the whole place looked shabby, service awful, food choice limited, table and menu a bit sticky, ladies toilet out of order, disabled toilet a bit grubby. I would not recommend."
