I usually have a nice meal at the captain digby, but found the chicken sluice very dry and left most of it. a little disappointing

As always, great service and great food. Much prefer visiting in the winter months as not so overcrowded. Problem I have is I've never ordered anything other than the Steak Ale pie as it is to die for :

Our second time in Digby for Sunday dinner and just as good as the first time! plentiful, well cooked food at a very reasonable price served by friendly smile staff. It can wait a bit for the service when it is busy, but it is worth it! We will definitely come back and recommend.

Unfortunately, the service was slow and confused, although it was almost empty. the waitress forgot what was dessert ordered and put a drink if he didn't want. the place was on the cold side. this place was really good earlier and eating was still excellent, but I would really think twice before I went back
