"I have eaten here twice in 3 years and both been a disaster. It will be my last..... First time was ok the food was nothing special but when I asked for my bill their hand held machine declined my card several times. They got a waiter to run me to an ATM where my card worked fine so I could withdraw money......Completely embarrassing and unacceptable. Last night I went for dinner with my Daughter and her Fiance. Nice friendly welcome and fast and efficiently seated. Lady that served us seamed to have trouble with the touch pad ordering system while taking our order. Again the food was bang average.... steaks were not very nice or cooked well (asked for mediam rare but was not even close and very fatty . Chef has an obssession with unessassery garnishing your plate with salad, fried onions,mushrooms, tomatoes ect The gereral standard of food was ok but not value for money and porrly descibed....... For example Mozzerla fritters blah blah blah .... sounds nice right?..... You get 5 Mozzarala STICKS from Farmfoods with loads of random salad. Again when it was time to pay and the bill came it was wrong and I was over charged 76.40. Questioned the bill and it took 20 minutes of our time for them to sort it out with just a Sorry have a happy new year!!! Not a somewhere I would go back to.......Twice wrong and food is not great"

"I always like the Goldberry but unfortunately this time I did not. When we arrived 4 of us the waitress told us that the chicken delviery had not been delviered so all chicken dishes were off the menu. I chose cold meat salad which on the menu stated that it came with coleslaw.... I can only describe it as a side salad..... no coleslaw and when I asked for salad cream they didnt have any. My friend chose steak pie which was full of gravy and very little meat and was cold. We were offered something different and had a chicken sandwich and a chicken curry as the delivery arrived?? but was very poor indeed. On the menu was also apple pie but when we went to order it was not ready!!! Having paid the bill in full which was around £80 with drinks I told the waitress that it was not what we usually came to expect at the Goldberry she then told her manager who offered us a round of drinks to compensate. The manager has still to appear to apologise this was left to the waitress which I found strange.... not a good way to keep and treat your customers. Will not be returning anytime soon and have told my friends the same."

"Had my birthday meal here last night there was 9 of us, the food was outstanding, so fresh and tasty not 1 complaint from anyone, lots of empty plates from starters to main courses, food has been brilliant anytime we have came here, had a lovely strawberry daiquiri which I loved, only 1 issue and that was the length of time we had to wait on food coming and drinks, only 2 lovely boys working the floor/bar and we did have to wait a considerable amount of time for drinks, and quite some time from the kitchen from the time we had starter till main course, cannot fault the staff at all as they were doing their best but maybe a little more staff in as there was a good few tables full for meals. Still 5 tho as everything was lovely and yes the embarrassing bringing out of the birthday cake and singing to me as well happened. Xxx"

"I had the best experience in Bloc Pop Up today, I arrived to get a take away pizza with my young daughters but the waitress found us a table outside and so we decided to stay as it was sunny and a great evening to eat outdoor. We ordered margaritas pizzas and a plain burger, the food was absolutely delicious! The waitress were so very friendly and we really felt welcome there. This doesn’t always happen when we go out for dinner as my daughters are very young and as every child they can be quite noisy and messy but the waitresses really made us feel good! I will surely go back as we live very close! Thank you thank you thank you!! Absolutely stars!!!"

"My friend and I went to the restaurant for her birthday and discovered that you can get a 20% discount by signing up on an app. We ordered 2 chicken tacos, 6 hot wings, and shared a double glazed burger for our main course. For dessert, we enjoyed a birthday ice cream topped with cake. The meal was delicious and we were so full that we couldn't eat another bite. The staff was friendly and efficient, making our dining experience even better."

"TGI Fridays doesn't disappoint. First of all, amazing service from a lovely lady and second Yum! The food! We over eat with starters and then main food, but was worth rolling out of the door. The only downside is that we are always sat at the back near kitchen/toilets, next time I might ask to sit somewhere a bit nicer and quieter"
