"We visited the day after a bank holiday for lunch and found the restaurant almost empty. Sometimes, when a place is very quiet, the service can suffer, but that was not the case here. The owner gave us a warm welcome and was very accommodating due to my partner's limited mobility. The menu offered a good variety to satisfy our different tastes, and the food was enjoyable. There are a few parking spaces available on the road, which are conveniently located near the entrance. From the outside, The Gladstone appears to be a typical pub, but the dining area inside is simply and tastefully decorated, creating a fresh yet relaxed atmosphere. It's definitely a place worth visiting again."
