"As the name says!! Great business, great pommes, great burgers, great salad, great dessert! We (four-headed family with father, mother, daughter and son) were never so enthusiastic about a snack or actually from a restaurant in general. The service is maximally beautiful, courtesy and very attentive. The food is made to great parts by itself and with love, and that is also costly. There are some extraordinary things like various burgers I have never seen or trufflemayonaise. You can sit outside and inside in a very cozy atmosphere. Only recommended!!"

"The only reason why I don 't give 5 stars to this place is because of the unpolite and unpleasant hostess (I don 't know her name but she had short blonde hair with a tattoo on one of her arms). We discovered this great restaurant during my visit to Düsseldorf, the views are amazing from the top, specially at night and the food was delicious, not to mention the cocktails that were amazing. Me and my friend arrived with no reservation on a Sunday evening around 19:45. We were told by the hostess that a table may be available around 20:30 and that we could wait at the bar (we supposed that they were waiting for the tables previously reserved since we saw some empty tables). So we decided to wait and order some cocktails that were truly tasty. The 2 guys at the bar were very friendly and nice to us and actually thanks to one of them is that we got our table for dinner in the end. We noticed that at 20:30 people started to arrive and my friend decided to find out if we could get our table, the hostess walked by and when we called her by saying excuse me she didn 't even turn around and just said hold on . We decided to wait patiently until she was not busy and suddenly it was 21:00. She never came by even though we were very close, never said a word to us so my friend got up and went to ask her about the table (since people stopped coming and there were a few empty tables) she said sorry but we 're full . We were a bit disappointed but moreover annoyed by her careless attitude to us. So we decided to take another cocktail at the bar. Suddenly, one of the bartenders asked us if we wanted a table so we could have dinner, we said yes and he went to talk to the hostess. Around 5 minutes later he took us to our table and there was this lady arranging the table, but she didn 't even look at us or say something like sorry for keep you waiting not a word at all and just walked away. In other words, our experience would have been perfect if it wasn 't for this lady that has no sense of service and education. Leaving this aside, I highly recommend this place but it 's better if you can reserve in advance. We enjoyed amazing cocktails and tasty sushi."

"We had a little wedding party today with the closest family. Already during the first visit, we noticed that the service here is large. The owner was very polite, beautiful and flexible, what our wishes were. The food is excellent and also the cutlery cage was suitable. The portions were exactly fitting and all were filled. "When I made the reservation at buttershaker for New Year's Eve, I was guided by the menu that was published here. When we got there and the QR code placed on our table was scanned for the menu by phone, whereupon the waiter came directly and said the bring us nothing today and they only have 3 dishes for New Year's Eve. And why is there something wrong with the confirmation email for the reservation?The 3 menus were not why we chose buttershakers. We have informed the waiter of our selection; Appetizer main dish Dessert. The shop has made it easy and the 3 dishes pre-cooked to the ground, because they knew that the guests only have the choice anyway and there is nothing else and just afterwards our burger looked out. The meat was slightly fried from outside otherwise complete ROH so complete ROT! Sorry, it's not a steak but minced meat and minced meat should be reasonably fried. Unfortunately, we got really bad why we couldn't eat our burgers. When the waiter came to clear the plates, he asked if there was anything. I told him that our burger is far too crude, he asked us to bring us new, but we didn't want that because after the raw meat we were no longer after. After a long time the dessert came, but only for my husband, had to appeal to the waiter that I had ordered Dessert and also the same Cheescake. They took my dessert so long to bring that my husband was already finished with his (although you would like to eat together). Don't understand why it takes so long to bring some cake. "Very nice place with an attentitive staff in a good location. But we come for the food : So...i ordered a 600g t-bone steak and my brother a 350g Filet with a couple of sides. We loved both dishes...very tender and juicy. With those dishes and some appetizers and drink this set us back 140€. Not cheap but definitly worth it in my opinion. Recommended!!!"

"A few years back I visited Basil's and we had a great time there, got great service and loved the athmosphere. This time the place was half empty and the waiter was not welcoming and was in fact quite rude. The food was good though so my compliments to the chef. But snappy answers from the waiter to simple questions and giving us the feeling that we interrupting when asking about the menu was not ok and made us feel unwanted there."
