"After several visits to this restaurant it is time to write a short review. When visiting friends in Malterdingen, we always make it a point to change our dietary habits, from Indian and SriLankan cuisine to Chinese or traditional German cuisine....The first impression of this restaurant is that the staff has no time for you. Typical for the Chinese, they find it very difficult to smile. I feel that most guests come to this restaurant as they earn money there. You can eat as much as you want, but the quality of food is nothing to write at home. Customers who are not used to find oral food very delicious. They have a wide range of products on display, but meat or fish is available, but very small quantities, hidden behind all vegetables and thick sauce. You can be sure that you can leave with a stomach full of so-called Chinese dishes. What the owners and employees have to learn is to know how to smile and be busy with their customers. You will definitely get your monies worth, but it's anything but typical Chinese. Excellent for families with children and with a small budget. "I really miss the words, but to protect others I write. we had ordered 3 dishes first tried×last) with noodles. because all dishes are only with rice, at the very expensive trips 9€ for noodles extra. rice is not going. when we arrived at home, was a small bowl of rice for allegedly 3 people. in our chinese, that would be a part. If I have called this, even a great part that they can come back, we will live 20km away. then we hoped for a really good quality and my eating had no sosse though order.) I would have swallowed it, but I must say at the Chinese in Freiburg surprisingly good quality) at the station at a half price would have cost it 10x better. I was very, very disappointed, even from the unfriendly lady on the phone they can nix but we can never get back."

"Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. 25 Euro für ein Steak mit Rostkartoffeln,die schmecken wie aufgewärmt,fand ich nicht gerecht. Der Service war gut,aber essenstechnisch,gibt es weit aus bessere."

"Wir waren innerhalb weniger Wochen zweimal dort. Jeweils mit Freunden.Fazit: Die Gesamtleistung verdient u.E. die Note gut. Wirklich empfehlenswert sind Wild und Lamm, auch das Rumpsteak, das entsprechend dem geäusserten Wunsch zubereitet auf den Tisch kommt. Überhaupt können hier alle regionalen Küchenprodukte empfohlen werden. Das Carpaccio weniger. Vielleicht sind wir mit Carpaccio in Italien verwöhnt und legen hier den falschen Massstab an !? In der Sonne ist das Fleisch zu dünn geschnitten und mit zu viel Käsesplittern (Parmigiano ?) geschmacklich überladen. Was uns auch störte, war das mehrfache Anbieten, Beilagen (Teigwaren, Kartoffeln...) nachzureichen, auch wenn davon noch reichlich auf den Tellern war. Hier vielleicht etwas mehr Distanz vom Service. Ansonsten ist der Service okay, die Getränkeauswahl -meist heimische Erzeugnisse- vielfältig. Sehr positiv auch, dass Mineralwasser (oder Sprudel?) auch offen serviert wird. Insgesamt stimmen Preis und Leistung für dieses "Wirtshaus". Dafür ein "gut", kein "befriedigend", kein "sehr gut"."

"we waited around the minute for wine and water. we asked for Italian wine, and we have an Argentine Malbec. in the meanwhile no litte arrived. under the option limited menu we have ordered the pasta variationas as primo. after an hour the pasta was brought. it was definitiw not al dente but raw. we sent it back and went for a second attempt, sad for us only a cold antipasto option. it was a kind of vegan eating, more or less ok. we had instead liked an Italian vegetables; Cheese; prosciutto; olive; focaccia or the like. After hours the secondi were served: a duck option with a mini artichoke decoration and a cod with algae. the fish was almost sushi. the duck was cold and the juice burned and bitter. we ate the small portions quickly, asked for the bill and went into a near Italian restaurant. the service was an inexperienced, young, very friendly, who was not trained for work in a gourmet restaurant. if you want to sit at least hours and have an extremely limited Italian and non italian dining options with an elegant price. just try it, don't come back. That's safe."

"for more than 15 years I will eat regularly in the brain. Eating is always good. the scavengers are picked after old recipe every time fresh, the salat is made with a wonderful salats sauce. the portions are huge and I quote on the pommes (even if they are very good, because the carvings alone are enough with the salad for me. I like to buy the waiting time. the service is usually very friendly. I can only recommend the brain, even if I risk making a reservation to get a place."

"I love the atmosphere, it is really relaxed and the staff is friendly. I love the variety of food and drinks they have. there is cake, different kinds of salads and bread with delicious savoury spreads you can choose from! They even have lactosefree milk...and I think or different kinds of milk alternatives like soymilk. The breakfast is amazing as well! Lots of stuff to choose from (sweet and savoury) And as I can´t eat wheat I am allowed to bring my own bread when I go for the breakfast there (how nice is that? you can also buy different kinds of (really nice) coffee beans/grounded and pralinees.I LOVE IT, I go there every week"

"Visited this Greek Restaurant on the 25.09.2016 with friends living in the vicinity.The restaurant seems to be well patronised by locals.The welcome was warm , and friendly, presumably because my friends are regular guests.The menu card was very elaborate , with various well known Greek dishes .The four of us ordered four different dishes , and they were very tasty and filling.Portions are very large , so if you are really hungry you get your monies worth.Please note that they do not accept and international credit cards such as Visa , Master or American Express, so please make sure you have ready cash.You can have a good meal for around EUR 20.00 per person .The restaurant is fairly large , but I suggest you make a reservation if you want to have a meal with them at the weekend.Thanks and kind regardsRandolph Perera"

"It's my tribe. Food is more than well portioned. Staff and owner very friendly. Koch is also very competent and friendly, but somewhat overwhelmed if there is too much urge. The urge in turn means for me that the food tastes! Sometimes food takes a little longer until it's at the table. It is worth waiting for everything. In time you can have a good conversation at the neighboring brook course and drink the sparkling wine “Muskato”... You can recommend it to everyone!"

"War mal für paar Monate in Emmendingen und hab paar Dönerläden ausprobiert. War dann Stammkunde bei King Döner. Kann gar nicht sagen, wie die Döner sind aber die Pide war so gut, dass ich jedes Mal nichts anderes mehr bestellen konnte. Vielleicht die leckerste Pide, die ich bis jetzt gegessen hab : Sehr knusprig, Käse war sehr lecker und egal welche Variante… kann die Pide da nur wärmstens empfehlen "

"We were four dogs last night and certainly not the last time in Rex3. The food was very good throughout, the service was very nice and also took care of us. There was also water for our four-legged friend. We sat on the terrace, which is very quiet and also large. Perfect to let the soul grow. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, very stylish and impressive. We liked the stay so well that we lost all the time. All in all highly recommended!"

"Wer auf der Suche nach kulinarischem Dolce Vita ist, is(s)t hier genau richtig. Mehr Authentizität geht meiner Meinung nach nicht. Tolle Karte, ergänzt durch eine frische Tageskarte Da läuft einem schon das Wasser im Mund zusammen und frische Zutaten sind garantiert. Offene Küche, und meiner Meinung nach die beste Pizza in Freiburg und Umgebung (sorry Nitro). Service auch super freundlich und auf zack. Gibt nichts zu mäkeln. Dass es zu kalt ist, was man immer Mal wieder liest kann ich nicht bestätigen, und wir saßen direkt hinterm Eingang. Freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch"

"Wir waren zu viert am Mittag in diesem Restaurant essen. Das Essen war gut und die Portionen waren für unsere schweizer Verhältnisse gross und günstig. Eine normale Portionen Schnitzel mit Pommes besteht z.B. aus einem Vorspeisensalat, zwei Schnitzel mit viel Pommes sowie einer Tomate und einem Salatblatt und kostet um 14 Euro. Die Bedienung war sympatisch und aufmerksam und das Essen wurde zügig serviert (wir waren noch am Vorspeisensalat als bereits die Hauptspeise kam). Aussetzen kann ich eigentlich nichts, die maximale Bewertung gibt es nur deshalb nicht, weil das Essen nicht "Exzellent" war."

"My wife and I used the offer today (Burger Curly fries for 9,90€ and picked up the food. My wife had eaten the vegetarian burger and I ate the diabolo and were both enthusiastic. The portions are powerful and the burgers are super prepared. We will definitely pick up dinner here and hopefully go to dinner again soon. Very recommended! "Vielen Dank für das Löschen meiner Rezension, ich werde sie trotzdem noch einmal posten. Ein solides Kebab-Haus, jedoch schwankt die Qualität des Essens stark. Im vegetarischen Yufka war weder Bulgur noch andere Leckereien. Nur Salat in einem Gericht zu haben ist nicht gerade das Geld wert. Würde mich mal interessieren, wie die Bewertungen ausfallen würden, wenn nicht einzelne Rezensionen mit folgender Begründung gelöscht werden würden: Es besteht keine Geschäftsbeziehung mit dem Google-Nutzer Moe . Es handelt sich vermutlich um einen Fake-Namen.
