Um 17 Uhr werden im Cafe die dreckigen Plastekisten aufgetürmt. Hier kann man sich wirklich nicht wohlfühlen. Grauenvoll. Mein Fazit: Nie wieder Elmi Bäcker. Egal wo!!!"

"... I really liked this place and whilst it had lots of traditional Thuringer food it also had a good veggie choice for such a traditional place. I had wild garlic gnocchi with a lovely mushroom sauce and it was delicious. My friend had lamb...which also looked great. Lots of beer choices and such a beautiful setting even in the depths of winter so sitting outside in the summer will be stunning so close to the kramerbrucke. I will be going back for sure."

"We came from Slovenia to visit Culinary Olympics in Erfurt. After all day travel we wanted to have nice German dinner in a heart of this beautiful town. We found this place, accidently while we have been exploring old part of town. The place seemed...promising so we decided to enter. Waitress has been nice, we didn’t want to complicate and we all took the same dish: pork shank with dumpling, sauerkraut and gravy. Some of us started with some onion soup which not bad, but not so good that it would be worth to mention. After a while waitress brought the main course, which is the main reason of this review. Shank has been overcooked not properly warmed burned outside and absolutely not fresh. Some of the shanks have been burned so much that they were smelled like burned pork cadaver. Side dish has been mostly prefabricated (dumplings, gravy) and then warmed. We have been all very disappointed because we have been expected way much better food from their territory. Burping reminded me for the rest of the night, that my dinner was not what it should be."

"Was für ein guter Schuppen. Wollten nach den Konzert was reinschaufeln. Zum Glück hatte der McD zu, so dass wir den Laden entdeckten und so in unseren Fressherz schliessen konnten. Die Pizza war gierig und die Calzone meines Fressbruders, war laut seiner Aussage die beste wo er je verschlungen hatte. Ambiente top, gab Spielautomaten und ein richtig großen Aschenbecher. Wir gaben den spielenden Bands bescheid. Die fanden den Laden auch gierig. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Fressfreundlichen Uhrzeiten (bis 3 Uhr Nachts."

"the excellent situation was unfortunately not confirmed by eating. everything was freshly prepared and the broschetta, as well as the salad with brushed strips and a child's plate with spaghetti blognese came to a time on the table. I had to wait for my psteak from the tageskarte and the above. it was spiced with crumbs, but the salt was scattered regardless of it, so it tasted very fad and monotonous. now to my rumpsteak loud day card on rucula with parmesan and spinat. I asked if they would get it without parmesan and as supplement I would like to have rosmarinkartoffeln. all no problem was the answer. I mean steak, like medium or something, apparently hasn't played any roles. after an hour I got my food, but the kartoffels were missing, for that I had the parmesan. the rumpsteak was fried 1.5 cm thick light brown and beautifully grow through. also salt and pepper were completely disappeared here, but for that it was spiced with crumbs. I had hunger. When I had the fax thick, I asked the waiter to me and showed him to my rumpsteak. it was gay. an adult kammsteak unannounced by the gay for 19 euro. the waiter said it was always sold as a rumpsteak and went, of course, after I paid."

"we were there with a group and were well served, but eating was over. the vegetarian sauce or vanilla ice cream. that was not good at all, and the personal including chef was zero transparent. then all group of approx. 50 people to a table (7 people) pay individually at a bank. they should be able to help in a bit of beer gardens. really bad, because from the interieur and the beer garden it has something to offer in front of location."

"Service was terrible. The waiter was surly. Although there were four waiters standing around watching the three tables with guests, the drinks never arrived. The attitude from all but a quick and cheerful young woman was as though they were seething over something. Do they...just hate tourists here? My burger was raw in the middle. Not rare but raw, but at that point, I didn’t bother asking them to cook it some more. With the reception I got from the front of the house, I was afraid what they might do in the kitchen. Would not recommend, would stay away."

"Further reviews are available on Instagram at @erfurtdoener and here on my page. Rating: Meat: The meat is from all the diners I have eaten lately in Erfurt my clear favorite. Bread: The bread is made self-made and tastes very good. Salad: The salad selection is as it should be with every neat diner, fresh and tasty. sauce: Firat Döner has garlic yogurt and a sharp sauce. I usually take yoghurt and sharp sauce. Especially I can recommend the yogurt sauce. Ambiance: The shop has an indoor and outdoor area, which is separated from the footpath by a hedge. In the interior there are tables for 12 people and in the outdoor area there are usually 2 tables with 4 seats in the summer. In adaptation to the current requirements due to Corona there is also an order window where you can order and pay comfortably from the outside area without having to enter the shop. Service: The team is always very friendly and accommodating. At Firat Döner there are two actions that I particularly like. On the one hand, there is a stamp card where you get a diner free of charge at 10 stamps and on the other hand there are different days of action where the selected dishes are reduced by 1€. Monday is pizza day, Wednesday pasta day, Thursday schnitzeltag and Friday the most important day: the Dönertag, where every Döner is 0.50€ cheaper. Firat Döner has been open until 22:30. The only minus point is, however, that Firat is unfortunately closed on Saturday. So if you want to go to a diner on the weekend you have to look around for an alternative. Price: 4,00€ Conclusion: As you can definitely see from the review, Firat Döner is currently one of my personal favorites in Erfurt. Not only the yogurt sauce is highly recommended, but also the ratio of meat/salate is really good and after a döner you are definitely saturated for the next hours. So, who, in my opinion, wants to eat one of the best diners in Erfurt, only needs to visit Leipziger Platz and Firat Döner."

KA 15 XXL Restaurant Mickoleit

"Two weekends have been able to cost the missing cooks of K15 and I'm honestly glad I'm not in the hospital. First WE an hour late... And this week an hour too early with the words: It's so much we've just got everything done and sent out? What was on the plate can make everyone significantly cheaper and much more tasty with TK products and if I'm JEDER SAGE MY ICH JEDER. Every meat, whether pig, chicken or beef, was furt-dry and inedible. Supplements not Seasonel (Spargel in winter???????) who was still unchambered but so soft cooked that if you wanted to take a piece out everything has dropped off the shell. Broccoli can also be cooked crisp and if you do it after blanch in cold water, it even retains its color.. Too bitter disgusting. Very disappointing will no longer order anything there, let alone eat and will also advise everyone. Maybe something changes to our gastro through Corona and such juice shops close soon."

"Wir waren heute zu zweit im Wollkim. Wir bestellen Bibimbab vegetarisch. Es sah ansprechend aus. Das Essen wurde uns lauwarm bis kalt serviert (der Reis war lauwarm und das Gemüse und Spiegelei waren sehr kalt). Das war ja nicht mal das schlimmste. Reis und Spinat wurden nicht gewürzt. Bei den anderen Zutaten schmeckte man nur schärfe und kein Aroma. Zum würzen stellte man uns eine rote Flasche ohne Aufdruck hin. Darin befand sich eine scharfe Soße. Wir reklamierten das Essen und gaben es zurück. Die Reklamation wurde nicht angenommen. Vom Inhaber des Lokals wurde wir nicht ernst genommen. Er fing mit uns eine Diskussion an. „Es ist ihr Problem, wenn ihnen das Essen nicht schmeckt.“ Ebenso musste das unschmackhafte und lauwarme/ kalte Essen auch bezahlt werden. Ich werde mit Sicherheit nicht mehr dort essen gehen und würde auch jeden weiteren Gast von einem Besuch dieses Lokales abraten. Es gibt andere koreanische Restaurants oder Imbisse, die bei weitem empfehlenswerter sind. Das ist das schlimmste Essen, was wir je gegessen haben und wofür wir bezahlen mussten, obwohl es nicht verzehrt zurückgegeben wurde."

"I recently hosted my baby shower at Masala Restaurant in Erfurt, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. Staying away from family, we wanted a warm and memorable celebration, and Masala truly delivered. We discovered this gem online and were delighted to find that they offer party hosting services. From the moment we arrived, the team at Masala went above and beyond to make our event special. Despite reaching the restaurant a bit late, their proactive staff had already completed the party decorations, ensuring everything was perfectly set up for the ceremony. Their attention to detail and prompt service were outstanding. The food was nothing short of fantastic, with dishes that closely resemble authentic Indian cuisine. The service was mind-blowing—each course was announced in both German and English, making it easy for all guests to enjoy. The staff were incredibly accessible, whether it was serving drinks from the bar or quickly rearranging chairs to accommodate our guests. They even went the extra mile by placing bottles of water and juice on the reserved table for the kids, which was a thoughtful touch. The desserts were served directly to our guests, adding a personal touch to the celebration. I am beyond satisfied with the experience and would give them more than 5 stars if I could. "Ein anständiges Restaurant. Für alle die mal etwas ordentliches, wie bei Muttern zu Hause, essen wollen, sind hier genau richtig. Die Auswahl ist ordentlich und die Portionen sind ebenfalls sehr vernünftig. Eine Reservierung macht Sinn und bei schönem Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Der Service war das insgesamt Beste. Es waren ausreichend Servicekräfte da, es wurde sich regelmäßig erkundigt, ob noch Wünsche offen sind und auch von der Schnelligkeit außergewöhnlich gut. Das Ambiente erinnert ein wenig an die Kneipen von früher, aber nicht angestaubt oder altbacken zu wirken. Ich kann nur empfehlen es selbst mal zu probieren."

"The place is good located, close to downtown and the cathedral square. The service was ok, cordial and fast. I was disappointed by the food though. The chai tea was not milky enough and not concentrated enough to have a nice spiced flavor. The rice was cold and my sauce (from my lamb dish) was way too salty so I needed to mix a portion with the raita (yogurt cause) to be edible. The lunch menu had a good price but for the quality of my order I think their menu is overpriced."

"we got out of town and arrived a bit earlier. after a terrible experience at a previous, higher end and recommended restaurant, we have shown ourselves here quite late at 21:30 clock. the waitress was super nice, fast and efficient. the waiter himself. now, he did mistakes, and came with our food to another table and then went back and said we refused to eat ours. just a little bit about how the waitress so thoughtful and treated real was comforting when she came back to us to ask us why we refused to eat. as for the menu, interesting, a bit cheesy, but. it was damn delicious! beautiful against and the thunfisch spagel pasta was seriously delicious. it looks like her run the mill German sticky Italian restaurant, but service, eating and getting ready for it!"

"Wieder einer der zig Italiener in Erfurt... Bei diesem weiß ich gar nicht wie er in das weit verstrickte Italienernetzwerk in unserer Landeshauptstadt eingebunden ist, zumindest unterscheidet sich die Karte aber von den beiden "großen" Italienern.Direkt an der Gera gelegen (vom Breuninger in Richtung Wenigemarkt) ist die Lage eigentlich ganz nett. Der "Biergarten" ist aber wenig einladend. Man sitzt sehr eng beieinander und auch sonst macht der Außenbereich nicht viel her. Etwas schmuddelige Tischdecken auf Baumarktmobeliar.Das Essen war gut, auch wenn einmal die falschen Nudeln serviert wurden. Nicht das beste was man in Erfurt bei einem Italiener bekommen kann, aber eben auch nicht das schlechteste.Die Vorspeise fand ich sehr gut (Bruchetta mit Knoblauch...).Die Bedienung war nett, aber auch etwas langsam (eventuell durch den gut gefüllten Biergarten zur Abendbrotzeit überfordert).Wenn man nix anderes findet kann man hier ganz gut satt werden, zum "nett essen gehen" würde ich aber nicht noch einmal hier einkehren."

"Der Rote Elephant ist eine Institution in Erfurt. Seit Februar hat ein neues Team übernommen und setzt eigene Akzente. Die vorher stark an vegetarischer und nachhaltiger Kost orientierte Speisekarte zeigt sich mit orientalischen Leckereien aufgefrischt. Eine der liebgewonnenen Klassiker bleiben aber auch auf der Karte um der ausgeprägten Stammkundschaft weiterhin die gewünschten Leistungen bieten zu können. Das Ambiente wurde größtenteils übernommen. Gemütlich, rustikal entspricht sehr dem Charakter einer gutbürgerlichen Kneipe/Gaststube. Das Team war am Abend unseres Besuches leider ein wenig unkoordiniert und wirkte aufgeregt. Da sie den Elephanten aber auch erst kürzlich übernommen haben, spielt sich das sicher noch ein. An Freundlichkeit mangelt es nicht. Die Speisekarte ist wie bereits gesagt eine Mischung aus einheimischen Klassikern und orientalischen Spezialitäten. Die Portionen sind in einer vernünftigen Größe. Das Baba Ganoush war sehr leicht gewürzt und hätte mehr Bums vertragen können. Auch die anderen Speisen ließen es ein wenig an Raffinesse vermissen. Die Wartezeiten waren andererseits überschaubar. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist in Ordnung, kein Highlight."

"Ich gestehe: ich kam mit hohen Erwartungen. Wie auch anders möglich, nach solch lobenden Worten im Gault Millau und einer überaus vielversprechenden Karte? Wir wurden definitiv nicht enttäuscht! Ich bin großer Fan von der Auswahl & der wechselnden Karte. Es ist quasi genau der "Italiener" wie ich ihn immer gesucht habe - edel und nicht einfach Pizza/Pasta. Wobei es letzteres natürlich dennoch gibt; aber auf einem sehr hohen Niveau & geschmacklich ein Traum. Genauso wie der Fisch, den wir ebenfalls bestellten. Vorneweg gab es dann auch noch einen fantastischen Gruß aus der Küche und sehr gutes Baguette + Olivenöl. Die hohen Preise zahlen wir für so ein Dinner gerne - man bekommt viel geboten, verbringt das Essen in einem schönen Ambiente & kann sich einer super Qualität sicher sein. Die Portionsgrößen fallen nicht allzu riesig aus - man wird aber dennoch satt davon & eine Vorspeise und/oder Dessert hätten dann auch noch gut Platz. Allgemein ist es wohl eher für ein schickes Dinner (zu zweit?) als einen Familienausflug geeignet. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch!!"
