"Also das Personal war sehr freundlich kann man nicht anders sagen aber der Service geht gar nicht waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort was vorher reserviert wurde (also hätte man sich drauf einstellen können) 1.sehr sehr lange Wartezeit bis das Essen kommt wenn es dann mal kommt ist der erste schon fertig bis der letzte was hat.2.Teller wurden schon abgeräumt wenn andere am Tisch noch essen 3.weniger aufmerksam ob alle noch Getränke haben4.Man wartet schon über 40 Minuten auf das Essen dann kommt Bedienung und sagt dies und das ist nicht mehr vorhanden und muss umbestellen nach über 40 Minuten Wartezeit geht gar nicht5.Bedienung verschüttet mehrmals Getränke und das auch auf Hose des Kunden6.überbackenes Gyros musste man suchen haufenweise Käse und Soße kaum Fleisch 7. Steaks viel zu klein 8.Für ein griechisches Restaurant nur nachgemachter billig Ouzo9.Das Bier schmeckte sehr alt Positiv trotz erhöhten Lautstärkepegel und nach ca 4 Stunden trinken und angetrunken Kunden sind sie freundlich und locker damit umgegangen."

"the best service there is, eating is mega! tasty and it is a very cozy atmosphere. even if all the tables are occupied, it is not unpleasant and the staff acts 0 emphasizes and immediately pays attention to everything. the environment is super decorated in Asian style and also the drinks are awesome, especially the homemade mongonades. I've been there since I'm small and my family and I come several times a year. Eating and personally is never left behind as it is in many other restaurants. overall very recommended!"

"Sunday dinner and I really wanted to eat tablo as a big fan of Turkish, but unfortunately it was a really average meal and very expensive for what was received. mezze platter was not very good many oily vegetables or deep fritted...items that were not very delicious. kebab was simply in order, but a bit boring on a bed of the aubergines sitting with rice and a pretty bland sauce. this together with 2 glasses wein for 65 euro was a very expensive meal. only postiw was the service that was attentive and friendly. I can't really recommend it and wouldn't visit again."

"No one can beat the fresh of the salads. Unfortunately, the pizza went down a lot. it was our number 1 pizzeria, but it's a little different. strange teig no longer so loose and fluffy and the teig almost always burned. it's a shame you left. the observation has long been over, no evaluation due to a bad day. but to observe with almost every order that deteriorates it. very, very regrettable. new pizza maker? new teig? no idea why it can only answer it yourself. they come back to the origin of their taste."

"We ate our first Helloumi in Berlin in summer 2015 and were immediately in love. We've always said how much we find we haven't discovered food yet. We go through ruffles and discover the Habibiz. "Although the restaurant positions itself way above average Essen restaurant and attracts wealthy Germans, we were very disappointed during our visit in May. The service you'll get will feel like waiters give you huge favor. We had to ask for child seat, although it was clear that 1 yo baby cannot seat on its own. The waiter could not even put it close to the table and the mother had to ask for help. When the baby was loud, the waiter pretended he could not hear us. We got additional drinks that we did not order. Waiting time for the main course was longer than 1.5 hours. The various fish dishes that we ordered were all very salty. Risotto is like eating pure salt. When we ask additional bread, waiter brought 5 pieces for 10 people!!! First and last time there."

The two vegan options available taste good enough (edit 6/22: there seem to be at least five vegan options available by now! , but at the end of the day it's just fries you know. The place is located right at the city center, so it might get pretty crowded at times. "Aufgrund der hohen Bewertung, haben wir zum ersten Mal den Bonner Hof besucht. Der Emfang war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente aber eher mittelmäßig - wer es mag am Tisch in schumriger Beleuchtung die Speisen zu sich zu nehmen, mag es OK sein. Für uns leider viel zu dunkel. Die Speisekarte gab nicht besonders her, die offenen Weine mittelmäßig. Der kleine Gruß aus der Küche war schmackhaft, aber nicht besonders. Die Vorspeise, Gambas im kochenden Zustand in Gemüsebrühe mit Öl kam unerwartet schnell, bevor wir mit dem Gruß aus der Küche fertig waren. Zu dem hätte es eine Erklärung zu der sehr heißen, noch kochenden Vorspeise bedarft. Als Hauptspeise wurden Schweinebäckchen und Argentinisches Rumpsteak bestellt. Als Beilage gab es Meersalzkartöffelchen welche man mit Sicherheit wesentlich appetitlicher hinbekommen kann, der Spinat allerdings war ok was auch eigentlich keine Kunst ist.Die Sausen entsprachen keiner Profiküche, auffälligstes Merkmal war Salz.Auch die Fleischzubereitung sollte man nochmal verbessern. Wir waren letztendlich so enttäusch, das jedes Interesse am Dessert verloren war. Fazit, wir verstehen nicht das ein mittelmäßiges Restaurant eine so hohe Bewertung mit Anspruch auf gehobene Küche hat. Leider können wir dieses Restaurant für eine gehobene Küche nicht weiter empfehlen. Eventuell nutzen sie diese Kritik, als Anlass den jetzigen Zustand zu verbessern."

"The people doing the service were a bunch of amateurs: they really don't have a clue as to how to run a restaurant. There were at least two waiters too many, as a result they returned almost every used plate separately back into the kitchen. The waiters seemed selected for their youth and inability to smile: a feature that appeared to be assigned to the red shoes they were wearing.The clientèle had to wait a long time for some attention, they were presented with the wrong plates, drinks were forgotten and if one put down the fork after finishing the excellent meal, it already made it's way into the kitchen even though some of the company were still eating. Others had to stare for a long period at finished plates. The drinks were quite overpriced (a bottle of water at € 6,- seems quite out of proportion; the fact that I'm a Dutchman has in my opinion no influence on this) even though the selection they carry is very good. If the management would send home the two excess waiters the bills of the customers could be moderated to an acceptable level. Food prices are a touch higher than in other facilities in the region.The ambiance of this restaurant is another thing altogether: very impressive. Imagine sitting between a lot of concrete columns 4 meters high in an industrial environment. Everyone who finds him- or herself in the region should at one time visit this place to revel in its magnificence. The cook earns a bonus for his handiwork. The on-line facilities for making a reservation are excellent. Just be sure to bring some extra patience for company."

"Delicious Italian food. The prices are in the middle segment, fair and appropriate for the quality of the food. Stauder on tap and free rolls with spread and limonchello as a nightcap served with the meal. The waitress was very friendly and always there immediately when you were thinking about ordering something. Great, we ate there for the 7th time and everyone was completely satisfied. The atmosphere is ok, could be nicer and more comfortable. Standard seats and no proper separation from the adjacent tables."

"Wir sind zwar in letzter Zeit immer noch oft in der zweibar in Rüttenscheid, aber nur noch wegen des guten Essens. Aber es ist auch gut möglich, dass man das bestellte Essen gar nicht bekommt, trotzdem die Kellner über eine App die Bestellung eingeben. Die Wartezeit auf Kaffee, Getränke, Essen ist nochmal extrem gestiegen und sie war schon sehr hoch. Ich sehe ein, wenn man dauernd wechselndes Personal hat, dass es schwierig ist seinen guten Standard zu halten, doch ausruhen auf der Location, der Lage und naja die Leute kommen doch, sollte man sich nicht. Bin gespannt wie Café Kötter umbaut, ob das hausbackene rausgenommen wird und die Leute dann dorthin umziehen. Einfach nur schade."

"Those who have a very good hunger will definitely be fed up in this restaurant. Not only that you get a lot for his money it tastes very good. Operation is very friendly here (family operation). The restaurant has been in Essen for about 30 years and is definitely one of the best Greeks in the city. The only shame is that you get your food very quickly.
