"The menu is great, good prices and lots to choose from. The desserts were also very good. Sadly that was our only positive. My steak was freezing cold, fries were hot so that was a bonus. The whole place was freezing, we all ate with our coats on. We received the bill and noticed the 20% discount for January hadn 't been applied. When we raised this he said well you didn 't ask for it and he then applied it begrudgingly. Their Facebook posts advertising the deal make no mention of needing to mention the discount, check your bills before paying!!!"

"our visit was a casual lunch in the bank holiday on Monday. we enjoyed a large bottle of French wine next to some of the best food I had for one. I chose the plowers with a weighty price tag. may I say it was venerable and probably worth more. also a homemade burger with a Brioche neck came and was well received. we had unusual desserts that were homemade and complex and a great finish to our meal. we were greeted at the arrival and generally very well sought. Top brands. look forward to the next time. I'm eager to go back and be a nice change like home, instead of driving too breast."

"Returned after a nice meal a couple of months ago for my daughters 8th birthday. The food was lovely and hot and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. They put candles in my daughters desert and we all sang to her which really made her day. This is going to be my ne local when I move, I have no doubt if you speak to staff face to face rather than slag them off on here they would be happy to help. I'll be having words if my food isn't as expected that's fir sure. Keep doing what your doing hollybush. See you in 4 weeks."

"Don't know the area at all so relied upon TA to find us some food. The restaurant is small but cosy and the staff were both friendly and helpful ready to help you choose. The menu is quite extensive and a mix of Cantonese ..Malaysian. We had soup to start with mains of beef rendang and chicken satay. The portions were SLIGHTLY small (one more skewer another big spoonful of beef so not out of hand) but the accompaniments were huge. The taste though for all the food was sublime. Cost was reasonable too. We left full, a lovely meal and would return"

"I would normally recommend Cabovino to my friends as usually when I’ve been there with a group of people the atmosphere has been warm and welcoming and the food has been brilliant. Sadly, this wasn’t the case this time. The restaurant smelt badly of damp and the waitress was uninterested, abrupt and really scruffy. We felt almost as if we were in the way! All 5 of us are regular visitors to Cabovino and we were really, really disappointed with our visit, what a shame."

"Visited this place a few times as it’s one of the restaurants in our village it’s really welcoming and the staff are fantastic. Food is great, menu could vary a bit more especially on Sundays as if you don’t fancy a roast the options seem to be limited to just a few other mains, but you have to appreciate the food is fresh which more than makes up for it. Desserts are always changing which is nice the biscoff cheesecake was definitely a winner! Really recommend a visit and the booth tables are really comfy and nice."

"Generally open Monday to Friday. But we had a treat it was open Saturday. And we'll worth popping in. We sat down to some really nice coffees We all had a full breakfast. Childs breakfast, gluten free breakfast and a normal large breakfast. (The picture) The little one had a child's breakfast. 1 sausage, has brown, beens and toast she loved it. Also has a really nice strawberry milkshake with cream There is a gluten free option with sausages and bread. Including gluten free scones. Also cake if you needed it after. The big breakfast was brilliant and well happy with. In the cafe is old pictures of flint at different times. The old courthouse is an amazing bit of architecture. Old wooden beams and stairs. We'll worth a visit Vegetarian options: Had options available. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available and had GF toast and sausages for the breakfast Kid-friendliness: Had a full menu for children. And lovely milkshakes"

"We had an incredible experience at this charming tea room, with delicious food and exceptional service. We tried a full breakfast and a breakfast sandwich, both of which were absolutely delightful. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our visit special. We highly recommend stopping by this place."

"We live just up the road so this is our local chippy and we only ever take away although it should be noted you can sit in and I often see people doing this. I am not the world 's biggest chippy lover but we had these for tea the day we moved into our house and ever since then have both been hooked. We have even got fish/sausage and chips from here when we 've had family visiting and they 've agreed it is a great chippy. The curry sauces are delicious too! People often say to us you live near that great chippy so the place has a good reputation too."

"After reading a couple of google revues and trip adviser I thought give this takeaway a chance. It’s rubbish simple as that poor food no effort I should have known better when greeted by kids stuck on there mobiles and delivery guy reading a book on a Friday evening I should have run. But too the food worst effort I have experienced all 3 dishes Luke warm this was due I feel too the owner having a good chat on a mobile then having too get up and sort my order. Taste bland poor in respects of other Indian restaurants and takeaways in the area putting a pale chilly on the top of your meal does not impress when I personally have never seen a white chilly ever other than when it’s off. So don’t listen too great revues look down to the 3stars and that is where this takeaway sits in honesty ps I pass this place most evenings and can’t say I ever remember seeing a cue or multiple people inside and this I can say between 2016 to sep 2020. So my advice if your drunk it will taste amazing if sober it’s rubbish."

"Didn 't realise it was 2018 when we last reviewed Parivaar hence about time we updated. Visited on a Friday night on a rare 'no child ' night and did not disappoint. Nothing has changed (that is good) as exceptional food and lovely service by family members. Probably repeating myself although the specials are fab although if you want traditional that 's there as well. Always need to visit the cash machine as we never have a penny although not a problem and balanced by the bring your own alcohol as halves the cost compared to others and you choose what you like. We know the owners from here and the sister restaurant Quay Fine Dining which has just reopened after their unfortunate fire and always nice to have a chat and discuss respective families. Always struggle with the food as I like it all although when we visited in the summer my wife 's dish had run out but the chef came out personally to discuss alternatives and made her a similar bespoke dish which she really enjoyed. My favourite Indian restaurant is and has always been Cafe Spice Namaste in London although this is a very close second and on our doorstep! Thanks all. We will be back soon."

"Awful fish and chips please forgive me for my comments but you desperately need to change your oil we bought 3 lots of fish and chips from here and they were the worst we have ever had .the fish had burnt black bits in the batter and the were to soggy to eat we wasted our money on mush to be honest .we had a lovely day on the beach with relatives who live in Wales and to be honest it spoilt our evening and its made me feel sick to much oil and inedible ..."

"Not busy when we arrived, only 2 tables of people already eating. We waited 45 mins, people who arrived after us where served before us, then our food came out, lady gave it to the wrong table at first, when it finally got to us, both orders where wrong, I made a comment that this is shocking, the lady said if I don't like it I can go somewhere else, so I agreed, the shockingly bad staff tryed to refuse us a refund, as the chef tryed to say the policy is, once order is made, there's no refund, I'd agree with that if I got what I ordered and not a wrong order.....anyway, when holywell locals say avoid that cafe and go to Billy jeans, next time il listen lol AVIOD THIS CAFE LIKE YOU WANT TO AVOID AIDS, ITS DREADFUL....it's not even worth 1 star, but I have to give at least on star to make this review.... Billy jeans was well nice and served to the table in around 10 minutes like a normal cafe"

"We have visited the cafe on a number of occasions when travelling in this part of Wales and it has always been a favourite of ours. We called in yesterday for lunch after booking the day before. I would think it is advisable to book at the moment as the covid19 regulations are making life more difficult for owners of all cafe's, restaurants etc. The food choice was excellent and everything we had was lovely and all served with a smile. Apart from the food the other thing that stood out was the attention being paid to keeping everyone safe in the light of the pandemic. There is hand sanitiser available at the entrance to the garden centre and several other places around the cafe. Between guests the tables and chairs were cleaned to what must be operating theatre standards! We are looking forward to our next trip out this way and will definitely be calling in again. A big thank you to all the staff."

"Walked in and the girl behind the bar (wearing a coat still) didn’t even aknowledge us…. Took our drink order at the bar when she got to us and pointed our table out. I ordered a soft drink, they’re all just cans. My partner ordered a pint, it smelt of wet dog. The menus are big chalk boards by the door, so you have to stand and squash between a door and the bar to read the menu. The menus are big and look absolutely great. Unfortunately it was better on paper than on the plate. Ordered starters, took 30 minutes to come out. I had garlic prawns, they were on garlic bread which was soggy in oil and grease. Not what I expected and it was horrible. My partner had chicken kebabs. It was literally a slither of chicken on a stick. It was so dry one half fell off when he touched it with a fork. Next we both ordered the steak, £30 each. Sirloin steak, all the trimmings, and a sauce. My steak was AWFUL covered in lumps of fat and tasted of leather. My partners wasn’t much better. I ordered the peppercorn sauce, it was yellow, like custard and made me feel physically sick. ‘All the trimmings’ was chopped mushrooms, onion rings (basically no onion just greasy batter) and a bowl of peas (between 2) and a bowl of chips (between 2) I couldn’t even eat mine so they did offer something else, which I declined so they took it off the bill, which I appreciated until we could hear them slagging us off in the kitchen pointing out that the other steak was fine…. Toilets dead flies on walls, and I thought the toilet was grey but it was dust. Restaurant cold, holes in wall, heater next to us splattered in grease and food. Staff ok but need a waitress to take orders and treat it like a restaurant when paying £30 for meals! It’s not cheap, seems like they don’t actually have a clear vision for the place. Menus look amazing!!! Just need someone that can cook it."

"I would say , typical country pub comfortable seating ,nice atmosphere, friendly staff.sat in restaurant area, with friends for Subday lunch ,food well presented vegetables cooked beautifully, BUT ROAST BEEF was tough, and I would have preferred my meal on a dinner plate rather than on a dish for spaghetti bolognase. Hence my only giving an average vote"
