"During our stay in Friedrichshafen in July 2020 we've been to Centrale twice. The first time by coincidence we dropped in for lunch. The pizza was very crispy and tasty. The spaghetti with meatballs, olives and tomato sauce were just great. So a few days...later we decided to go there for dinner. Again both dishes (we decided to have pasta) were fresh and full of flavors. The size of the portions are rather large."

"Wir waren vor 4 Jahren als Paar schon mal hier, mittlerweile zu 4t und mit ganz anderen Prioritäten. Auch die Situation war anders dieses Mal: anstatt mit 200 Touristen im Sonnenschein auf der großen Terrasse, waren wir diesmal fast alleine im Restaurant, es schüttete aus Eimern und die Geduld der kleinen Kinder zeigte sich sehr überschaubar. Aber Bella Vista kann mehr als schöne Aussicht. Der Service war Klasse (da sicherlich auch etwas unterfordert mit der Gästezahl), das Essen kam entsprechend auch super schnell und wirklich wieder super lecker und überraschend authentisch für einen Laden, der im Grunde ja hauptsächlich massenverträgliche Uniformität für die Hauptsaison anbieten muss. Diese wird auch mit einer qualitativ hochwertigen und höchstleckeren Steinofen-Pizza sichergestellt. Da können die Gerichte drumherum etwas mehr Individualität wagen. Nebenbei noch viel Herz für die Kids und Zeit für einen kleinen Scherz. Die Toiletten sind übrigens wie geleckt sauber (hoffentlich nicht) und auch der Rest des Restaurants wirkt einladend und modern. Geworben wird zwar mit dem Blick aus dem 1. OG auf den See, aber eigentlich, so meine bescheidene Meinung, ist das der uninteressanteste Ort des schönen Lokals, wo Leben und Gefühl sich im Erdgeschoss und vor der Türe abspielen.Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe"

"Mein Mann und ich hatten endlich mal wieder einen Babysitter und nutzten das aus um wieder aus zu gehen. Ich rief am Mittag noch an und reservierte. Das letzte Mal, als wir da zum Essen hin wollten war alles besetzt. Als wir das Restaurant betraten wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und uns wurde unser Tisch gezeigt. Uns wurden die Karten gebracht und wir hatten genau richtig Zeit zu überlegen was wir trinken wollen. Ich habe ein Glas Weiswein bestellt und mein Mann ein alkoholfreies Bier. Als Vorspeise bestellten wir gemeinsam ein Beef Tartar (mit Berücksichtigung meiner Allergien) und als Hauptspeise bestellte mein Mann ein Zwiebelrostbraten mit Käsespätzle (eine kleine Umbestellung) und ich bestelle den Saibling mit Gemüse (allergiebedingt auch etwas angepasst). Die Vorspeise war super, das Tartar sehr lecker zubereitet. Mein Mann schwärmte von seinem Zwiebelrostbraten und dem Fleisch, sehr lecker und butterweich (wie bestellt medium rare gebraten). Ich konnte an meinem Essen nichts aussetzen und war sehr zufrieden. Sehr gut gegrillter Fisch und das Gemüse auf den Punkt gegart. Ich habe mich sehr darüber gefreut, dass sogar das Gemüse auf den Punkt gegart wurde und nicht stiefmütterlich behandelt wurde. Zum Abschluss hatten wir einen Espresso. Am Ende sind wir glücklich und zufrieden nach Hause gegangen und wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch."

"Nach dem Besuch des Zeppelin-Museums suchten wir mit Freunden ein nettes, nicht gerade teueres Restaurant, wo man gut und ein bischen exotisch speisen kann - wie hier. Das Lokal ist rel. klein, so 30-40 Plätze und sie waren schon gut belegt, dennoch die Bedinenung hat uns sofort zwei Tische zusammengeschoben und sehr höfflich beraten. Die Süppchen - Po Tack und Ghoy Tiao (mit Rind!) waren in 10 Minuten auf dem Tisch. "It is a hotel restaurant with multiple rooms (Stube) stylized for a traditional inn but not looking particularly authentic. The place has its reputation and you will not be totally disappointed but overall experience is average. Looks like the management cannot decide whether to offer...heartly German simple, local products based meals or sophisticated modernistic micro size courses. Local markets offer meat, venison, wildfowl, fish from the lake and apples. And there is a good selection of stews and grilled dishes based on them to choose. Still they are not all the way that way and if you want simple, abundant German dish you could get one more typical at the restaurant next to gas station. I had baked beef with onions. The quality was nice but it could taste much better if they did not add a whole truck of salt to it. Spaetzle with cheese were overcooked to the state of formless mass. For starter I had terrine, two small slices, could be just adequate for course dinner, not for a complete meal in German speaking country. Salad bar is rather basic. House wine is just acceptable. Water, they serve it in fancy bottles but they are refilled. The staff was quite attentive but far from perfect (forgot to bring drinks to some of us, had trouble remembering who ordered which dish at person table)"

Ein Teller mit ein paar kleinen Stücken Eisbergsalat, 1 Tomatenschnitz und 3 Scheiben Gurke, eine handvoll Karotte drüber, dazu Fertigsoße...das kann man sich sparen. Die Pizza war ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Auch hier, ordentlicher Preis für sehr wenig Belag und Teig (zwischen 12 14 Euro). 4,90 für ein großes Johannisbeerschorle auch meiner Meinung nach vollkommen übers Ziel hinaus geschossen, für eine mittelmäßige Pizzeria. Einmal ausprobiert reicht mir, da gebe ich mein Geld lieber woanders aus."
