"We had two dinners there and the food was both times very good. The place is quite crowded but you will find a table if don't have time for booking it before. Even booking might be a challenge, since we did it the first evening...and when arrived I had to wait for minutes that the waiters realize I was written in their notebook. The next evening we didn't book and found a table faster (two locals invited us the seat at their persons table) and we were even luckier our waiter was fluent in English (didn't happen the first night), but also in other languages! The service was impecable (thank you Enrique"

A great place to enjoy the comings and goings in the harbour (including the Zepplin manouevering over head) whilst enjoying good food and attentive service. Recommended

The restaurant is well located. Panoramic view of Bodensee. We had Schnitzel with Spelze. They also offer kids menu with good portions but half price cheaper which is really nice. The foods are yummy and freshly prepared. The Spelze for sure is hand made. High...price but the view is worth it. Highly reccommended

Unfriendly. We wanted to eat here but didn’t. Hostess told us to choose a table and we did. There was no “reserved” sign on it only a flower vase. Then we were told in an unfriendly manner that we could not choose that particular table...because it was reserved. We wouldn’t have minded moving but it was her unfriendly tone. We left the restaurant. I cannot rate the food. Nice view though

The Wirtshaus am See is one of the great restaurants of Germanic gastronomy with the Schwäbische (souabe) specialty. The staff are very welcoming and are dressed in traditional German attire. The restaurant is located on the lakeside promenade and operates in beer garden mode in...the evening from p.m.The restaurant has a large room inside and a large terrace on the promenade and is clean until the toilet. The price is reasonable compared to the quality and quantity of the dishes. A large parking is near the entrance to the port of Friedrichshafen. A reservation is recommended for dinner
