"Food ok but not Stellar Artichoke and truffle salad small, zucchini frites a bit limp and venison main very small sea bass perfect Service really slow 50 mins from sitting to starters…having chased Not worth the 15% service charge added Private event was going on one suspected we were second fiddle Room had really bad draft in it bordering on cold Table next to us had to be reseated as they were too cold No idea why they went for open kitchen style in such a small dining room but when the kitchen staff and chef calling out orders is louder than the guests that’s an issue Probably won’t return"

"We were fortunate to visit Clarette during one of the sunniest days in London. We were sitted outside in a table for six. Staff were very kind, helpful, knowledgeable on the dishes and of course willing to suggest specific options. Food choices are quite limited but there are more than enough to choose and share. We tasted the fried squid which was delicious, croquetes of pulled pork, scallops (not their best dish) and bream cevice. We were sitted outside but the main area inside is lovely and same goes for the bar. Prices were quite high vs the food portion but it is understandable given the Marylebone area. Though, wine prices we have to admit were very high. We paid 27£ for half a bottle of white wine. Overall, I would visit again."

"we visited bloomsbury street kitchen in front of a theatre show and used a special offer that we found on the fork. from the moment when she put the foot through the door, the service was friendly and attentive. we were shown to a nice table and began to run through the menu. the restaurant is simply stunning to look at, very modern and stylish, and a master class in design. the restaurant is a mix of Japanese and medium sea, and is a “small plates” concept, so great for the division of many different things and aromes. we started with a selection of small plates that the buratta, edamame beans, crab harumaki rolls and seared beef tataki. all these dishes were exalted, but the bark didaki was really the outstanding court it was just stunning. for the main courses we ordered another round of dressed and settled on the rib eye steak, lachs and huh gyros. also here the dishes were beautifully presented and the aromen were from this world the highlight that was steak and salmon. the whole eating experience was absolutely burst, and we all really enjoyed our evening. I can not recommend bloomsbury street kitchen enough and we will return soon!"

"brunello is a restaurant with a comfortable but formal design that feels luxurious, from the moment they go through the doorway. I wanted lunch at the kensington opposite near hyde park, so brunello in the baglioni hotel seemed like the perfect place for me. the service was excellent from the beginning, the waiter held the teller and wein flow in a steady rate, describes the origin of the weine and reason for pairing with each court. the salmone norvegese and tuna as part of the selection of the kochtars were so fresh and an exciting combination of aromen with celery and fennelvinaigrette in sweet senf. then came the black truffle risotto with 24 months old Parmesan cheese, which was a fantastic wise way to present the ingredients and I definitiw loved this dish. red meat was next to the menu and tagliata of bark meat filet was a style of bark meat that I never tried before but always want now. with a broccoligratin and mushroom, boiled for perfection with medium-sized rareness, this really shows the abilities of the cook and is a trip to brunelllo for these. the last cure was the cheese selection of the chef of parmesan, pecorino, camembert, caprino, gorgonzola served with crispy pistachios, fruit marble and honey. the rich aromas and textures of the cheese with the sweet notes of the Hungarian tokaj were the perfect way to finish the meal. I highly recommend brunello and cannot wait to return!"

"I guess I was thrown because I got what I didn't expect. So I was embarrassed in front of my guests by that. I should have researched it better I used to go on and off over a number of years but it had changed out of recognition. Used to be sophisticated casual with classy food. I recall it as buzzy and lively without the excessive noise and boom boom boom of a bass line from music downstairs and the young and beautiful draping themselves loudly around tables. Now it’s that rather corny attempt to jazz up pizzas etc with unusual toppings That said. The food was delicious. As a party of four we shared several very interesting starters. Then very well cooked unusually topped pizzas. Service was adequate but dull and dour. A rather tired waitress. But adequate. Overall by all means go there to enjoy the thriving trendy folk of Pimlico but not if you valued the more sophisticated food and smart casual feel before it was “improved”. Noisy."

"charlottes w5 used to be one of our favourites to eat and entertain friends, but recently the dinge seems to have gone a bit wrong. when we arrived, we were told that most fresh fish dishes were not available because the supplier might not have supplied any disturbing sign? the sweet potatoes gnocchi were not good, the others were okay. the service was, however, very complete and not on the standard for the prices they raise in my opinion. it was not busy, but we had to draw attention to order and ask twice for the beverage menu. chips were forgotten, coffee was forgotten, the personal looked haunted. on the plus side the appetizers arrived immediately and were good (although from any reason the Caesar salad was not available? odd) and the waitress offered a free pudding in exchange for a plate of uneaten gnocchi. we can return, but unfortunately I don't think we have the chance to invite friends there again."

"I took some nonJewish teachers from my department for an evening meal and they were very impressed although the fish was incredibly expensive the salads and Thai food were much more reasonable and the portions were very generous. The salads were delicious and the restaurant very happy for you to customise your salad to suit preferences. Overall an excellent experience and all would be happy to return"

"My second visit to this super restaurant. I had to think for a while as to why I liked it so much to return within a week and it's simple; this restaurant has got the balance just right I love the staff (at least the ones I've encountered) who all appear genuinely friendly and eager to please. They go about their business quickly and efficiently but without making you feel rushed or pressured. The salon itself has a great atmosphere, especially after one or two of their recommended aperitifs, it's bright and spacious Both of my visits were at lunchtime where there is a lunch menu as well as a limited à la carte selection. By limited, I don't wish to imply inferior or restricted. I...read more"

"I have been to Soyo several times over the years and have seen many changes in their menu. Currently, the food is excellent with a diverse menu, fresh flavors, and great service. However, the turnover rate is high, so the quality of service can vary. The yogurt and pasta dishes are very popular, and the breakfast options are delicious."

"It was a very convenient location for us for a pre performance dinner at 5:30 on our way to the Middle Temple Hall. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were the only diners in the place for our first half hour and they accommodated our preference to have the Muzak played more quietly a rare treat in this noisy world. The food was good, the portions plentiful. My only small complaint was that the broccoli side portion arrived pretty cold and without the garlic it was advertised as having. But it still complimented my spaghetti carbonara, which was a true Italian dish."

"that was our favorite meal in brighton! the fish stew is absolutely mock up and the haw in blue cheese sauce is an absolute hit! not further dessert! my eton mess was exactly what I needed as a sweet note before the walk back to the beach near our hotel. the staff was also great, super nice and welcoming and still smiling, although the elevator was broken into the kitchen on this hot summer evening. we look forward to a return to brighton to try more dishes."

"Attended a corporate lunch in the small private dining area to the rear of the Diciannove restaurant on the ground floor. Lunch items had to be pre-selected from a short menu which is understandable to assist the kitchen and avoid lengthy delays. For the starter,...I chose Pasta with crab 6 supplement) which arrived as a congealed mess of very thin spaghetti and slightly off-tasting white crab meat surely this was not fresh? Main course was Rib-eye steak 6 supplement) with chips and my request for medium rare had been ignored! Too difficult to make a fuss as a guest and send it back but that was my inclination. I declined any dessert as my appetite had disappeared at this very ordinary establishment. One further problem is that the restaurant has no immediate toilet facilities. These are located on the Lower Ground Floor and is some distance away. Not rushing back to this one. Definitely below par for an IHG hotel."

"Had read about the Sussex Pass in the Muddy Stilettos email, so thought we would give it a try. Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only downside was that the tables were a little too close together so felt we were sitting on top of each other, but I understand they want to fit maximum capacity in the limited space. Lovely place and will definitely come back when they are fully open to try the larger menu"

"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"from both of us I found eating at elenas to be totally acceptable, but the price-performance ratio is a bit ho-hum. the photos of the stars that decorate the walls gives him a certain charm, but the bright lighting makes nothing for the shaded color job that lurking behind the mugs, and I felt, giving the place a caffe feeling. Some candles and somewhat lower lighting could go the inner further. I think the attention to small details makes customers appreciate. for example, why not use stainless steel eis eimer instead of plastic, which I enjoyed the chicken liver parfait, served with roasted brioche and chutney. so good. I had a fleshy piece of tea for the main, well presented and cooked...read more"

"We were a large family group meeting up for a post Christmas celebratory lunch. There were only 2 other diners apart from us, but the food still took ages to arrive and was overcooked and barely warm when it did. Grilled tiger prawns were tough and dry and the vegetarian option provided a scant 2 slices of halloumi hardly a main course portion. From such a long established restaurant with a solid reputation for quality the reason we chose it it was all hugely disappointing. I can only assume the kitchen was not fully staffed in the period between Christmas and New Year."

"My Wife and I try and get out for a meal at least once a month, previous visits here were very good. Starters were fine, but I ordered a medium rare fillet steak for my main, got my steak which was well done, mistakes do happen, but to try and tell me that the steak was medium rare was just frustrating, I should not need to explain the difference, so replaced my steak with a medium rare, although after my wife had finished her meal. Did give us a free bottle of wine to apologize, which was a nice touch."

"This restaurant is excellent. The dishes I have tried are beautifully presented, generous in portion size, and delicious. It is clear that a lot of care goes into creating the food and designing the menu. The chefs must be very skilled. I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes and the fantastic rice. The desserts and cocktails are also top-notch and crafted with skill. The restaurant has a spacious and stylish ambiance with beautiful lighting. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable compared to other kosher restaurants, making it a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal. Overall, a fantastic dining experience."
