"While the food was mostly good, the service left a lot to be desired. Beef tartare: everything is good except the yolk that 's set too much, It would have better incorporated with other ingredients if it was a bit more liquid. Chicory salad: while the taste and its simplicity is to be loved, one has to realize that it 's Literally 5 chicory leaves with some pomegranate seeds and herbs, 5 tiny pieces of blue cheese, and 5 drizzles of dressing. My main course was halibut accompanied by a tomato salad, some pak choi, and a garlic bread everything was scrumptious with good aftertaste. The fish knife was smeared in herbs from the chicory salad (I 'm a clumsy eater . At the moment of serving the fish, I requested a clean knife. They brought it and just placed it next to the dirty one. The idea to take the latter out and wipe the table seems to have never crossed the waiter 's mind... This was pretty much the last time a waiter came by my table. Pak Choi is quite sturdy and cannot be cut with the fish knife my request for a different knife hasn 't been satisfied. My wine glass was left unattended. My attentive looks at the waiter afar were met with a smile But He Never Came Back To Me. Finally, I 've paid, then had to pack my wine leftovers by myself. The sommelier appeared again only to give me my coat and chase me to the door with strange questions Do you want a glass for the wine? , Do you want to put it on your room? (After my payment! etc. Overall, I believe my personality has not been illustrious enough to be met with proper service at this restaurant."

"I will not be going back here if I’m paid. Besides the fact they’ve taken almost all of the vegan options off, there’s a curry and fajita, which isn’t really a fajita it’s a reheated sloppy wrap! I know this because when asking about allergens or if I can take stuff out I was told it was all premade. I asked for a gluten free wrap as it was part of the option and was given a regular wrap and told about that after I had began eating it! I made my allergies very clear and the waitress tried her very best and was lovely but it seemed the kitchen staff really didn’t have a clue and something in my food set off a reaction even though I’d checked and there shouldn’t have been anything in especially since this meal was meant to be vegan (my main allergy is milk)... On top of this, the lady who came over to assist was extremely rude and insisted if I didn’t need to go to hospital it didn’t really make any difference and it wasn’t their fault so they wouldn’t do anything! Reluctantly she refunded me and said “here you go Madame if your money will make you feel better take it we obviously don’t cater to the likes of you” utterly appalled. "Bad service, waited min just for starters, the all restaurant was very smoky, the main dishes take long to arrive and were burn, the taste was awful! Rarely had any check backs to our table. Called the manager and he just offer another meal, what I refused do to the time I ben there just waiting for food, and expected for an apology and some discount, but never happen! I'm not a person that likes to complain, so I just left without a fuzz, but really unhappy! Never I will be back again!"

"Found Kimchee when looking for a place to have dinner. Had to wait for a table, while waiting had a gin, very tasty. Just missing some seats while we wait for table. Foodwise me and my boyfriend shared vegetable dumplings (very good! , a avocado salad (just ok and the main dish made of rice and beef which was good but could be improved with more flavour (we used the sauce from the dumplings . For dessert we had panacotta which was very enjoyable. Would go back for another meal!"

"We read reviews always before visiting a restaurant, so we were looking forward to this meal. Unfortunately the food was appalling, absolutely tasteless, pasta had no taste and was told to put salt and pepper and chilli oil to make it taste good, Bass had wet skin, kale and greens were like a mash, the chicken batter was burnt! This was all the dishes and not just one! The waitress was amazing, so we didn’t complain, just left knowing we had the worst meal of our holiday!"

"I had an absolutely wonderful meal at The Sussex Pass. The Lemon Sole with Samphire and the Monk Fish Chicken Cassoulet were both incredibly delicious. The desserts were fantastic as well. The little details really stood out—fancy hand sanitizer on the table, lovely candles, and charming jugs for water made us feel truly pampered. Hats off to the entire Sussex Pass team; despite the numerous challenges posed by COVID, you are still providing exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. Your hard work is commendable. I can't wait to come back!"

"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"really nice restaurant, friendly and efficient staff and good eating! super comfortable to moxy hotel where we were. I ordered the margarita and the Gnocchi bowl and my man got the double pepperoni pizza. the drink was very strong without being all tequila. the gnocchi were well cooked and the buffalo mozzarella was amazing. the only smallest thing is that I think that the double paprika pizza could come with even more pfefferoni to better match its names, but I don't draw points for it. in any case recommend!"

"I love this place. I was once in the private dining room down, but this time we were in the main restaurant. the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed, eating and service is just as brilliant and it is not devastating overpriced when everything that it is very affordable and worth every penny as eating is sublime. we came to a birthday dinner with friends and none of us can expect to go back. "lovely Italian restaurant, not reminiscent of the chain restaurants, just as i prefer them, authentic. Wonderful food, fab specials board the crab ravioli was sublime and perfectly seasoned. We had a bottle of wonderful Gavi di Gavi and lovely friendly knowledgeable service. Will definitely return, its years since i ate here and its still so good. Highly recommend"

"This restaurant is excellent. The dishes I have tried are beautifully presented, generous in portion size, and delicious. It is clear that a lot of care goes into creating the food and designing the menu. The chefs must be very skilled. I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes and the fantastic rice. "my wife and I try to get a meal at least once a month, previous visits here were very good. starter were in order, but I ordered a medium rare filet steak for my head, got my steak, which was done well, mistakes happen, but try to tell me that the steak was medium rare was just frustrating, I should not explain the difference, so replaced my steak with a medium rare, although after my wife had finished her meal."

"Unfortunately our group did not have the best experience at The Driver and it is unlikely we will return to have food here. We had to wait over an hour to even get our starters and we only had one fleeting your food is coming . This factor probably tainted our whole experience however I did find the food over priced for what it was. For example, the Burrata as a starter was charged at £13 it came with one slice of prosciutto yet two in our party asked for the veg option and there portion was smaller and came without the prosciutto but still priced the same. The standard of food varied yet the best food was the Fish Chips other meals were disappointing. The acoustics are terrible on the ground floor the place needs some sound dampeners as we struggle to even hear each other at all. The rest of the establishment was inaccessible because private hire but it does seem like a great place if you wanted to have a party there I wouldn 't recommend it for small parties of 6 or less."

"I visited Racks for my works Christmas party. We were sat at larger tables at the end of the restraint and had food bar service. The food was nice, although it was a set menu of choices because it was a larger party. The staff were helpful and good fun at the bar. I’m unsure on the cost and value for money as it was a work event. The atmosphere was cosy and very private. I definitely plan to visit again in a non-work’s party capacity."
