"So I did Ping Pong twice in a week. Once with a friend because it was local (St Paul's) and second, because I was at Wembley for a concert and it was the one with the smallest queue. Ping Pong has never really been a draw for me in the past, its never been a case of I MUST GO THERE. I have passed it several times when in Westfield Stratford and settled on Bumpkin, Busaba Eathai, even TGI Friday's. I am starting to come around to dim sum. With recent visits to Hakkasan, Bintang and Mama Lan, these tasty Chinese style bite sized pockets of goodness are growing on me. Ping Pong spaces are always quite big. I love the dark wood and rich chocolately interior. I live for the island seating, watching the Chefs do their thing (not at all locations). For now, I will focus on Wembley, simply because I was impressed with the seamless service regardless of the fact that it was mad busy with concert goers everywhere. We queued for 45 minutes which is to be expected with 65,000 people in the area. This was made up of actually standing in the queue and then having a drink at the bar. The system they have is good, they take your mobile and call you when your table is ready. This is the only way for them to successfully navigate through the traffic of bar customers and queuing hungry people. At the bar, my only negative so far was that the wine was not chilled so we needed ice. Diluted wine is not a good thing. Once we were sat, our waitress was unaffected by the demanding clientele in her section, was chirpy and attentive. The sequence of service was flawless. Drinks arrived promptly, food arrived as it was ready. The food was good. All the staff floated around the room, appearing to be in control. If there was tension, I could not see it. This site is obviously built for volume on days like this and they have the right team to facilitate it. In terms of food, I will amalgamate both dining experiences as they were on par. We went all out ordering duck spring rolls, prawn on toast with mango salsa and soft shell crab. There was also prawn and chive dumplings, I had black prawn dumpling. Honeyed chicken and mushroom rice pot and vegetable sticky rice completed the banquet. I think that Ping Pong lends itself well to sharing. There is so much goodness, it would be rude not to share. I will continue my dim sum journey and if Ping Pong happens to be in the vicinity, it will certainly be considered for another visit."

I recently dined at Ping Pong Wembley and found the restaurant to be quite good. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic and tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, especially the dim sums.

I am giving this restaurant a 4-star rating because I have no complaints. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, good service, and well-prepared food. While Asian cuisine is not my preference and I didn't particularly enjoy it, I would still recommend giving it a try. The highlight for me was the latte, which was actually better than any coffee I've had at other cafes in London.

Over the weekend, we visited our local Ping Pong to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Monkey in style. . If you have been reading our blog for a while, you will already know that we are big fans of Ping Pong and their delicious dim sums. We couldn’t wait to try the new seasonal dishes, which have been inspired by the bold and adventurous personality of the monkey. View menu

Well it’s not quite yum cha as we didn’t go for brunch, in fact it was dinner time. Neither did we have it with ‘tea’ as such, so I suppose we just went for dim sum. Ping pong is a small chain of restaurants specialising in little picky bits and pieces of chinese foods – that’s the dim sum! Perfect for sharing, indecisive people people who know what they want, what they want is everything!

We popped into this restaurant last night for a bite to eat. It was a slow evening, and so the service was quick and efficient. We had a mixture of multiple dishes and can highly recommend the Chicken and Mushroom Rice pot which was superb. In addition all of the Dim Sum that we ordered was great quality, and really tasty. Even the long stem broccoli went down a treat. A pleasant evening overall.

This was our first time visiting a ping pong restaurant and we were absolutely impressed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they carefully checked the entire menu to accommodate my friend's allergies. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious, leaving us feeling very satisfied. Our waiter Gui deserves special recognition as he went above and beyond to ensure our visit was a memorable one.

Nestled in a corner of Wembley designer outlets, I rushed in at the sight as I had been dying to try out a Ping Pong for quite some time now. We went on a particularly slow day, which I sometimes like, because the peace and quiet along with the extra attentive service is just what you need. Love the express 'tick a dish ' method of order taking. It had a beautiful bar and lovely interiors. Looked quite plush. Fell in love with the cocktails instantly. Whatever we ordered we hit a jackpot with. The presentation was AS good as the taste. The highlight for me, was the hibiscus spritz. Oh my god, what gorgeous flavours! Maybe it was because I come from the school of thought that anything with pr...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
