A fragrant dish featuring the citrusy aroma of lemongrass, perfectly balanced with savory spices and fresh herbs.

"When we arrived for a Saturday night pre-theatre dinner staff were slow to approach us to either take an order at the bar or look into reservations. I was then informed that there is an issue with booking with Open Table and therefore didnât have our reservation. Staff did however manage to find us a table. Food was very good and service was pleasant but rather slow and we werenât able to have a second course consequently."

"Just as the same experience as Scarlett (Soho) over staffed lack of service. The waiter whom served us was very dazed and didn't take attention to what I ordered the other staff were chatting amongst themselves rather than providing our drinks. Than we found out that a dish we ordered wasn't available which wasn't even stated til all food got served."

"I visited with a group of friends for the bottomless brunch. We had a lovely time the food was lovely and it was very relaxed. There was no pressure to rush out quickly after eating like there sometimes can be. The only downside is that we had to sit outside which was a bit uncomfortable on a chilly day."

"Been here for breakfast many times but never for dinner before. Atmosphere was as expected, the place has a shabby elegance of bygone days. We were very lucky and sat on a table in the window with wonderful views of the lead and the sea. There were a number of vegetarian choices that weren’t the usual pasta or risotto. Some thought had been put in to them. I would say that a few “tweaks” were needed with my choice of halloumi/chips/onion rings, mainly being a longer cooking time for the chips and halloumi. Partners steak was good evidently. Service was very good. Overall a pleasant evening that is good value. We would return!"

"A lovely dining experience. Every mouthful was delicious. This is a big step up from the fare which has become standard at 'gastro-pubs '. Service is excellent. We were lucky to be there for Sunday lunch when it was not too busy, and sat outside in the very pleasant covered dining area. For those who value market produce carefully prepared and beautifully served, you will not be disappointed. I think it was excellent value for money. The desserts were particularly good and beautifully presented. No hesitation in recommending."

"Salsa! is probably my favourite Latin American restaurant in the centre of London as their excellent cocktails, fantastic food and enchanting salsa rhythms are more than enough to get you marching to their beat. The bar and restaurant can be found underground via an aged wooden staircase. The walls are teaming with Latin American memorabilia and the rustic wooden decor makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a salsa bar in the heart of Spain. The fajitas were very filling and mine was served with succulent chicken breast marinated with Latin American herbs and spices along with diced onions, chillies and peppers. The cocktails here, while also very nice, offered little variation...read more"

"The concept of sharing tables was unknown to me and I was not ready for it. But when I was seated at a large table with my friend and with some other strangers, it had the opposite effect on me and I loved every minute of my dining experience after that. The food is sublime! They really can’t go wrong with your order. We had vegetable spring rolls, Jasmine rice, and Green Thai curry. And just writing their names makes me want to devour them again. The service is quick and on the day we went, it was quite understandable that the servers were extremely busy since it was the rush hour so no complaints there! The staff is breathtakingly friendly. But the only thing that did not settle well with me was the absence of a diverse dessert menu. They only had two flavors of ice-cream to offer. But overall, it was a soul-satisfying experience! Visiting again and SOON!"

"My wife and I were visitors to London. I hadn 't eaten previously at Ping Pong but my wife had. We both went for the 'Parcels of Joy ' set meal containing Prawn Crackers, Crispy Duck Spring Roll, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Honey Glazed Spare Ribs, Spicy Vegetable Dumplings, Chicken Truffle Gyozas, Mushroom Dumplings, Har Gau, Seafood Sticky Rice and finished with a mini Chocolate Fondant and a mini Cheesecake. All of this for an amazing £35 each. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Highly recommended."

"Such a great experience at Ping Pong, went with my girlfriend for our anniversary and everything was 10/10. Kind service straight from the get go, all staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, it arrived quickly and was the perfect amount of food. Was even given a free dessert for our anniversary which was a nice surprise. Thank you to every one of the Ping Pong team who gave us a wonderful night, definitely coming back soon!"

"Having booked an early table at this somewhat upmarket place my friend and I wanted and expected a quiet, comfortable experience. We arrived to find 50+ people at a pre-booked event at the bar next to the table area and sometimes spilling in to the area. The noise was intolerable. The menu is limited but the food is good. At £150 for two for a one course meal with wine I'd say pricey, especially as that included a discretionary 12.5% service charge. I thought this outrageous scam had stopped."

"The standard of some dishes seems to have slipped. The green curry with chicken was not acceptable with only three pieces of chicken and represents poor value for money at without rice. I raised this with the manager, but no resolution was offered. I was told that portions are weighed, so I can only assume the meanness of the portion was a deliberate choice by the restaurant. The bang kapi katsu and rice (crispy chicken and curry sauce) on a previous visit was very bland. Reluctant to return, especially given the abundance of other Thai restaurants to choose from."

"Service very poor. I’d booked a table about 5-7 days before for 3 of us when booking was asked if it was an occasion which it was my birthday. When we arrived they had my booking but hasn’t saved a nice table was offered one which was right by the toilet, managed to move after 15min when I saw a table empty. Took a long time to order food and by the time it was out turn they had already ran out of some of the salads and it wasn’t even 1pm. When the food finally arriveswd I had a ask the waiter to add more salad to one of my guest as it was ½ the quantity to the other one, which they weren’t very happy about me asking. I want be going back in a hurry which is sad as I’m in that area often"

" top spot for me. The food is consistently delicious, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The presentation is always beautiful and the service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a casual dinner or special occasion. I highly recommend trying Siam Oriental for a taste of fantastic Thai cuisine in Leeds."

"Went to the pub up the road from this place because of good reviews, however they didn't service food on Monday nights, so went to the nearest place to eat. The White Hart. Big mistake. The frozen peas were only just cooked and hard, the frozen French beans were soggy and tough. The mash potato's had a hard crispy top having been kept warm in an oven, and the meat pie was of chip shop quality. Only positive thing was the jug of gravy to drown it all in. All in all the worst pub meal I've ever had. In hindsight should have put the meal on the bar and walked down the road to the chip shop. Going by the food I was given I'd certainly wouldn't recommend this place."

"My boyfriend and I had an absolutely brilliant evening here for our anniversary last week (mid October). The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the ambience was just delightful. We arrived an hour earlier than our booking and enjoy some drinks on the roof of the boat. As it wasn't busy, we were able to be seated 15 minutes earlier than our booking which made the night go more smoothly. The food was served quicker than expected (about 15 mins if that), and was all presented very nicely. We ordered several small plates to share. Everything was divine! I would just like to point out for other guests, in case they skim over the menu as we did; the sweet potato chips are HUGE. You only get about 4 or 5 and it looks like the entire sweet potato has been slices long ways with the skin. Yummy but we didn't even eat half so I wouldn't order if you're not absolutely starving. ALSO: the regular chips are cooked in duck fat. As a vegetarian I didn't order this, but I did pinch some of my boyfriend's chips, as every girlfriend does, only to realise a few moments later what I had consumed... again still yummy, but I wish I had known beforehand. Could not boast enough about how amazing all the food was!! The cocktails were delicious. I enjoyed a french martini and a rosemary rush, the latter had a particular kick I'm still mouth watering over even a few days later!! The dessert was impeccable. We got the chocolate ball as did everyone in the restaurant, and it did not disappoint! That was plenty between two people. It's also quite romantic to share too. But being us, we also ordered the yogurt meringue delicious!! As we had such a great conversation with the manager and mentioned it was our anniversary, he didn't charge for our desserts! We were so touched, we are hoping to take some friends back with us soon. Would definitely 1000% recommend this fun little find. Also it is only maybe 10 footsteps from Paddington Station! Definitely a date night to remember."

"Ping Pong food is always reliable. On this particular trip the waitress spilt drink all over my partner's jacket and clothes. She was very apologetic and we understood it was an accident. What was nice was that the restaurant was very apologetic and was forth coming with compensation via a reduction in the bill or offering us dessert on the house if we wanted. We were in a rush so didn't opt for the dessert but appreciated they offered to reduce the bill without us having to ask. Thanks again for your service"

"on a Monday evening, on which way back to our hotel. it was an absolute reason for visiting the current site and we had debated on another known chain that is a little further along the road. we were so impressed by the vegan options that we ordered almost one of the vegan options on the menu. the eating was so good, the staff was great when we entered the door, jackie took the time to make sure we had everything we needed during our time there. if I didn't travel, I would visit as often as I could pay tribute to it with 5 stars."

"It was my daughters birthday and she was looking forward to revisiting Ping Ping and the endless buffet. Unfortunately the items on the menu deterred us from this option. The chicken dishes we had felt almost on the edge of going off. Which was really disappointing. And the dim sum didn’t have the usual flavours from the past. Also the dim sum was limited in variety. The only thing that really appealed and was quite good was the bean curd salad. Also the dim sum really repeated on us for the rest of the night. Usually this would only happen to maybe one of us. But to all four suggests that the food wasn’t quite as appetising as we expected it would be. Also the area we were seated was tight, as there was only seating upstairs and outside."

"while we stayed at the covent garden hotel in august 2016, we had an breakfast in the brasserie max. the breakfast spread, service and menu options were absolutely fantastic and without doubt the most beautiful put together breakfast every hotel I stayed. the continental objects were fresh with a lot of choice with beautiful berries, fruit and pasture, baked and seasoned. also the daily juices and warm menu items were delicious. later in our stay we also visited the bar for an evening drink with canapés, together with a late evening tea sitting outside enjoying the street view. we enjoyed each of our experiences. a beautiful place to enjoy time together with good quality products and service."
"I loved this place. on Friday night at 6.30 a.m., a table stood up, although we had not booked. to make the dinge easy we had the set menu for 2 and it was excellent. hot fresh food purchased to the with little delay . can recommend the pinot noir that went down a tasty bite. we ended up with a tai-chee tea and though again delicious, but only too much. Perhaps a small cup would be sufficient, but not complaining. Finally, you can drink as much as you want. thanks to waiters who were attentive and informative."
